collage

Here is a collage I made for my sweet little girl.
It is 33"x 36".
Her room is nearly decorated.
Which is great since she turns one on Sunday.

I love this!!! I have wanted to make something like this for Sydney but had always thought of painting it, which scared me, but maybe I could handle collage!! Mind if I borrow this idea? :)

It's very cute. Is it paper or fabric?

Four lines? Is that all -- you must've spent it all yesterday. I'm sure our little lower-case Abby will love the collage. Hope you have a great night.

Love ya'

anina,

it is made of paper. I have managed to amass a large quantity of that as well.

roxanne,

you may use the idea. it isn't mine originally....surprise, surprise. have fun with it...it's a great project.

busy quilt mom,

I cut out letters out of scrapbook paper free hand, then decoupaged them onto a large piece of 3/4" MDF. The squares behind the letters measure 6" x 6". I am planning on adding a ribbon around the edge to finish it off nicely.

Such a sweet project, and a clever way of dealing with that pesky number 26! I just noticed a comment from Kevin on this post... that's even sweeter!
