quilt-a-long week 12

Hello there. I realize that I am a few days early in posting the block for week 12, but I figured better early than late. Our vacation is about to kick into high gear and our internet access will be sketchy for the next several days. So here is the last block....

cut 4 squares 4 7/8" from the background fabric

cut 4 squares 4 7/8" from a colored fabric
cut 1 square 4 1/2" from the same colored fabric

use the 4 7/8" squares to make triangles

layout as shown

and your last block should look something like this.

I can't wait to see how you all put your blocks together in a quilt top! Happy quilting and I'll "see" you all at the end of next week.

Wow - 1st comment - I don't get that too often. The block looks great. And perfect. I have 2 fabrics left in the collection that I haven't used - one for each block. I'll start sewing as soon as I get my machine back later today! Have a fun week! Can't wait for details. Will miss you!

Hi there,
Thank you for taking time out on your vacation to post the last block. I have caught up and can't wait to get the last block finished. I am not sure how to put it together so I may wait until you are back for any hints you may have. Enjoy your holiday.

Wow, this was a surprise! I'm visiting a few blogs tonight as I haven't done that in a few days. Since I haven't done block 11 yet, will do 11 & 12 together! This looks like a fun one too.

Hope you have a great vacation! Could you please bring us back some sunshine? LOLOL!

Thanks once again for thinking of us. Enjoy that vacation. It's going to take me a week to just decide which block looks best next to each other.... Ü

Yay! Vacation in high gear sounds wonderful. Enjoy it. I think it will give all those quilters following your quilt-along a little time to catch up.

Hi there,
just letting you know I have a blog. I actually started it ages ago but gave it up. My friends have encouraged me to keep it going. I have placed a pic of my blocks on there. Would love for you to visit if you have the time.
