Margaret's Hope Chest is accepting blocks for their January/February Project Hope through the end of February. This is kinda last minute, (so typical of me!!) but I figured close to date is better than not doing it at all! I think it's a wonderfully easy way to help a great cause....much easier than completing a quilt top or an entire quilt. If you would like to help too, you can find all the details here.

good luck! it is fun to watch it grow!
Awesome! They look great. I love the colors in the pinwheels. The stars are coming along nicely ... I've got a stars quilt going, too, and it IS amazing how a little intentional-ness goes a long, long way! Beautiful work, as always!
Intentional-ness is a beautiful thing.
Ditto what Live a Colorful Life said!
And the star quilt is s stunner. Keep it up!
how are you sewing the stars together? I'm making a six-pointed star with diamonds and I'm trying to avoid all those y seams. I put mine away because it was turning into a disaster, but you've inspired me to get it out and take another look.
With the star quilt ...try making a star a day with the white blocks attached and once a week sew them together. you'll feel more accomplished, promise.

Beijos
I'm all about intention too, especially this year. I try to do a little sewing each day and if I don't find any time...well,(shrug)I try not to be too hard on myself.
I think you're doing great! Your star quilt is beautiful. A star a day keeps the doctor away!
Glad you posted about the HST's for MHC. Needed exactly that type of project: not too involved, done in almost no time (from stash/ scraps!)and for a good cause. Thanks!
i am loving the star quilt! awesome! i can see that putting it together would be a challenge though. it's definitely not a quick sew!
happy sewing!
Both are beautiful, Amanda. Keep up the good work!
It looks like a puzzle. I love your creativity. Indeed a very great post!
Love them! You have good intentions and it shows.
I pulled out my grandmother's star quilt last week that she was making during the 50's. She had all the pieces for probably a queen size quilt cut and it's about half-finished. I have wanted to finish it (the fabrics are so fun!) but was so overwhelmed. I love Carolyn's idea combined with yours of just a couple at a time!! Thanks for the inspiration!
I am going to make some HST blocks and mail them out today! I have also began some intentional sewing and have a goal to make 1 block a day for a QAL I started over a year ago. Good luck to you with your stars, they are just lovely. Smiles~Beth
Your pinwheels are so perfect. I'm working on my first pinwheel quilt (only quilt #3 ever for me) and I keep losing my points. Any tips?
You are committing to one star a day to try and get your top done and I have been committing to do one alteration a day to try and get them done! I think you are having more fun than me! I just want to get those pesky alterations done so I can move on to quilting again!
your star quilt is beautiful. though, i'd like to differ with those that encourage you to stubbornly sew it with intention. sewing with intention could also mean picking it up again when you are ready to live in the present and enjoy the project you are working on. but, that is just my two cents :)
I LOVE the 2 animal fabrics!!
Where did you get them?
I like that quilt. :)
I appreciate you talking about being intentional and hope it rubs off on me! BTW I didn't see when you originally posted but your QAYG quilt is so vibrant and lovely!
Quilter Mom of 2-
The fabric is max and whiskers by basic gray for moda. I think it's about a year old?

Thanks for posting about the HST's. I am going to make up some to send off.
darling stars!!!!! the variety of your projects is a wondrous thing! so fun to see them all! :)
Love the stars!!!!
Fun! I love your stars, but they do look challenging.
thanks for the chance to link up too!
Because of you, again, I've attempted something new - HST - which I'm mailing out Monday to Margaret's Hope Chest. Thank you for posting that link; thank you for all you have shown me these last 2 years. So much fun this sewing/quilting thing!!!
This quilt is amazing! I am inspired by it. Keep on working! I am hand quilting a VERY SMALL quilt that I completed over a year ago, I am quilting one star a day because I too am burnt out! This looks so cute!
