spectrum quilt

I finished the top of my spectrum quilt.*
I didn't expect it to be a king size.
what I was thinking?!?

*no new fabric was purchased for the making of this quilt.
all pieces were from my stash or my scrap bucket.

Looks GREAT!

I love your disclaimer. It reminds me of when they say something like, "No animals were harmed in the filming of this commercial." LOL

Congrats on your stash busting efforts!

Beautiful! You need to check out Lolly's Project Spectrum. Being the fiber artist extrodinaire that you are, this project will be right up your alley.

very cool. I've never seen anything quite like it. I like it very much. Do you sell any of your stuff on etsy? You should if you're into selling your quilts, otherwise, just enjoy keeping them or giving them away. The world is a more beautiful place with your quilts in it!

You're amazing. The quilt is so cool, and knowing that you did it completely in stash-busting mode makes it even cooler.

I've only made two quilts so far, and both times what I thought were going to be singles have turned out to be doubles...

Oh well. Guess you can't have too much of a good thing!

Very stunning quilt! It might just be that I haven't been paying attention, but will you quilt this quilt yourself? Or will you get a professional to quilt it? You just keep inspiring me! Keep up the beautiful work!

I felt for your when I read your previous post 'I've created a monster'. I always go through at least one moment of panic with my quilts.
I have a bag of scraps that are waiting to be turned into a roman coin quilt - I don't think I could leave the bands different lengths like you have. Good on you.
It will look beatiful once it is bound. You could use almost anything...

Gorgeous. Here's one of the best reasons to keep scraps - with them you can make something that is one-of-a-kind beautiful. I love scrappy quilts!
