ready for assembly

Finally, I've made some progress on my bright quilt.
My math calculations for the triangles seem to be accurate. I'm amazed. (A lot of math goes into figuring out what size to cut them.)
Now, I am holding my breath to see if I can actually finish this entire quilt by Sunday.

It looks great! Do you want to finish the whole thing by Sunday or just the top?? You are VERY ambitious!

Hey I recognize that block on top!
You are certainly ambitious, but if I know anyone who can get it done, it's you!
Can't wait to see!

Hi Amanda,
I know what you mean about the maths. I wish I'd paid more attention at school! Recently I needed to cut a patch with a certain angle on it, and hunted high and low for a protractor. I don't know how many geometry sets have been through this house (probably in double figures), but I couldn't locate any of them. Then, hurray! I found a rather forlorn protractor, and what's more, remebered how to use it. the pieces were accurately cut and all is well. Never thought at 56 I would ever need to find a protractor again!
Just goes to show how good quilting is for your brain!
