Tara, for the brand spankin' new Two's Company Quilting Bee. The red and white quilting bee was the brainchild of my friend Andrea, and I'm so happy to be a part of it! The block was actually designed by my friend Penny. This also doubles as my Fancy Block for the week, a paper piecing challenge that I am doing with my friend Melinda. I LOVE my quilting friends and I love quilting WITH my friends, even if it is virtually most of the time. :)
Hope you are having a happy Saturday!
It's beautiful! Can't wait to start mine! Tara is going to have a great quilt.
That is really neat, I love it!
I really like it and that will be some quilt when all the blocks come back!
How fun to have so many quilty friends to share with! Looks great! Smiles~Beth
So clever! This looks like fun!
All the best - Chris
Love this! It reminds me of fire works.
Very nice block!!
What a fun block!
I can't believe I have never seen your blog before! Your quilts are gorgeous-and your design wall looks great!
What fun and pretty colors to boot!
Loveit!!! How pretty is that.
I love this block! Great job!
This block is sweet. I love it.
Un bloque muy original!!!
You are too quick! My fabric has only made it out of the envelope once for a peek. I need to do mine pronto! Yours looks fantastic!
your block looks fantastic!
i finally posted mine for the week. sorry i'm late, quilting buddy :)
Love your block :-)
Like the crasy way you have made it.
I /just/ made this very block! It was the first thing I'd ever paper pieced. Mine is Christmas-themed, to be part of a gift for a friend. I'm not sure I want to commit to a whole Christmas-tree-skirt worth of these blocks, but it could be a potholder if nothing else.
I've long been a fan of this block. And thanks for linking over to Melissa. She's a fun find! BTW, I saw that you're about to cave on the Farmer's Wife QA. I'm holding strong, but it's hard. GRRRR, I'm tough ;)
That looks awesome!!!!
It turned out great, AJ!! I can't wait to see Tara's quilt. It's going to be so fab!
Oh, I love it! So cute. I really enjoy seeing all the fun designs you sew up. =)
Love this! I'm adding it to my "to try" list, as I have yet to do anything that anyone might consider to be "fancy". :)
What a lovely block - I am really enjoying all your paper peicing posts
this block was one of my first paper pieced projects, I made (of all things...) potholders. I was too unsure of the whole paper piecing method which I have come to love.
Your block is darling and reminds me it is time to resurrect a few of those blocks from my UFO pile!
Love the asterick! It is such a fun block, and I love that you are in a bee with Tara. I can't wait to see what you are all doing!
I like yor wor, it is beautiful.I congratulate.
