Liberty giveaway

I've been on-line friends with Anna for years and years. We met in real life way back in 2010 (!!!) at Quilt Market in Minneapolis. She is a gem and she takes gorgeous photos. Today, I'm happy to team up with her to bring you a really fun giveaway! A giveaway that will cheer up any cold, dark, dreary January day. At least that's the hope! :)
Anna recently started carrying Liberty of London fabrics in her shop. If you are unfamiliar with Liberty tana lawn, it is fabric of the highest quality. If I had only one word to describe it, it would be "fine". It's really, really lovely! I've worked with Liberty fabrics in the past, and even though they are fine, they are easy to work with. I made a cute little mini HST quilt that currently hangs in my hallway. I also made this little mini (tutorial included) that now lives at Mary's house. It's the kind of fabric that you use every last bit. Oh wait, I do that with most fabrics. Ha!
Anna's goal is to make Liberty more affordable for everyone. Thank you, Anna! If you are in the market for Liberty fabric, be sure to check out her shop. You can buy it by the yard (starting with a 1/4 yard) or in bundles.
Now...for the giveaway! If you would like a chance to win a 10 piece bundle (each piece is 9" x 13") of Liberty of London tana lawn fabrics, please leave a comment on this post. In your comment, I'd love to hear what you are working on today. I will pick a giveaway winner in a few days!

As for me, I'm working on writing a pattern for my WIP bags...and the zipper measurements are kind of kicking my tail at the moment. :P Here's hoping for a break through soon!

Happy Wednesday!

Today I've had a poorly little girl so I've been curled up on the sofa with her, hand sewing tiny wool 'pennies' on to tiny wool squares, tucked up warm under a quilt. And those fabrics look mighty fine!

I a working on my Hip To Be Square baby quilt. This is a challenge by Pat Sloan. Use up those scraps! Thanks for the chance to win.

Since I'm on a "fabric diet" this year, I'd LOVE to win some real fabric instead of just playing with scraps. Until then, scrap away.

What an awesome giveaway! I am working on an apron for a friend with a fabric I've had in my stash forever :: "How to keep a Husband" - great advice such as "don't use too much perfume," "I won't rummage through his pockets anymore," "put your picture on his desk," and "if he is tired bring him his favorite drink" - I'm excited to see how it comes together!

Ooooh, My ! This is such a wonderful giveaway ! THANKS a bunch for giving us a chance.
I've never used Liberty fabrics, because they're not available in my little country corner of Belgium, and I must say they're quite pricey at Liberty's + those shipping costs... YET, I've always LOVED them so much, and I'm certainly going to visit your friend's online shop :))

For the moment, I'm handquilting a quilt I made for my best friend, who's creating a wonderful garden around her new home in Cyprus. The quilt I made is "A Gardener's Journal Quilt" of Annie Downs...

THANKS again, dear! Now crossing my fingers (AND toes) that I could be the Lucky Lucky winner.

XOXOXOXO
NADINE

I had hoped to be quilting the borders of my flying zebra quilt but instead I'm unpicking some of the lines of quilting in the main section. For some reason on the back on some lines, it looks like a mouse has gone along and snipped threads here and there... that's the only way I know how to describe it. The bobbin thread didn't break when I was quilting and I only noticed afterwards when I was burying threads. Anyway... those are lovely fabrics. Thanks for the giveaway and the chance to win them.

I'm working on staying awake. My tiniest girl didn't let me go to bed until 11:30 and then got me up at 4:30 for a feed. My big girl decided to start the day at 5:30, just as I got tiny girl down. Assuming I can stay awake though, I'm going to play with some lovely Bonnie & Camille fabric that arrived in my letterbox yesterday. Haven't quite decided what project it will be.

I finished the top of a mystery quilt (Grand illusion mystery in Quiltville blog) on monday. Before tackling the actual quilting part I wanted to practice in smaller size... I have quite a lot of "bonus" HS blocks left over from the mystery work and today I decided to turn some of them into a pillow.
Thank you for the giveaway! Snowy greetings from Finland by Mari (mamioja(at)luukku.com)
