I have a few finishes to share. It's been quiet here on the blog but life has been anything but quiet. Oh. Mylanta. In the midst of everything I managed to finish up yet another rag rug, which was a gift to my fabulous and lovely friend Tara. (there is a tutorial here, should you want to make one yourself...and I think you should. ;) )

The trim looks great! How do you like your Juki? I am interested in possibly getting one, primarily because I need a better machine for free motion quilting. So I'm curious what your thoughts are on the machine. Thank you

I just finished re-reading your scrap organization chapter in Sunday Morning Quilts and I ended up using a shoe holder on the back of the door to hold everything. It worked perfectly. What a great idea, thanks!
When I learned to knit a couple of months ago, I thought, "Oh good, I can finally knit one of those selvage rag rugs." Scrap use priorities, right? :)

I had two aunts who made the most gorgeous rag rugs. Yours looks terrific.
I like the upgrade too :o) I'm taking a page from your book and planning to redecorate my girls room with a neutral on the walls. I'm going for grey with lime green and pink as the accents. Hope it works out as good as it looks in my head! :o)

That rug is awesome (Oh and Vanessa sent me to say YOU are just as awesome too)! I've always wanted to make a rag run using the crochet technique. I'll take a peek at yours though too. Either way I'm going to have to relearn that skill since I haven't done either since I was a young child.

I need to make a new one for my kitchen below my sink in varying room colours and for the bathrooms in the colours of. I am tired of buying them and just not being right! Yikes! Now I want to sew so I can make some scraps, so I can knit rugs and make some of those storage bins from your book! I am a knitter, and in my mind's eye, I can see several of those baskets lined up on an old bookcase I have, with all kinds of sock yarn scraps filling the baskets. There just isn't enough time to do all this stuff.
