This is my hello sunshine quilt. You can read more about the fabrics and templates used in this post. I will note that the template I used is not quite an equilateral triangle...but since I'm only using the one shape it wasn't a big deal.
To quilt it I did a free motion swirl in silver thread. (I love the 70 weight from Connecting Threads.)
I bound it in this fabulous lime green fabric. This print is equally great in all the colors they offer...sun, magenta, teal and sprout. I love them all!
I chose to machine bind this one. I LOVE the speed of finishing a quilt in this manner. I also love the line of top stitching on the binding. My husband must be skeptical about this approach because he always asks me if I like it. It makes me chuckle. And it makes me thankful that he takes an interest in my work. He's such a sweetie!
I pieced leftovers for the back. It's so fun for me to work out a pieced back. I love the pop of lime on the top.
The laundry line fabric print is one of my favorites in this collection! It makes me smile.
It measures about 45" x 60".
It's been quite awhile since I finished a quilt and I have to say it feels pretty darn good.
I hope you have had a good week finishing as well. Please link up your finishes and then go and cheer on a few others. Happy Friday!

Amanda, do you attach your binding to the front and wrap it to the back, or the other way around? I love the lime green binding... I am going to put that fabric on my Christmas list. Congrats on the beautiful finish!
Great quilt, that is one triangle shape I keep thinking I should do a quilt in. Love the orange in it.
Love all the pretty colors in your quilt, and the triangles, of course. It's beautiful!
Love this quilt! I really like one shape quilts and you did a wonderful job with this one!
Jennifer :)
I finally got my boys quilts done this week.....only took a few years!http://alfandlilycreations.blogspot.co.uk/
Triangle quilt is one of to make quilt on my list. Love the clothes print in the backing. This week, I have a mini quilt to share here.. thank you!
Great quilt! Love the colors! Wish I could get points to line up as well as you did!! ;)
This is an awesome quilt! Love the look of the triangles :)
Love the look of the triangle quilts. That is one of the items on the to-do list.
Thanks for hosting! Love the quilt!

I also love love love machine binding, and love the line of stitching that appears on the binding as a result.
When I finally jumped on the machine-sewn binding bandwagon, my husband said, "I don't know why you didn't do it sooner!"
Of course he's not a perfectionist (about my quilting, at least), so he didn't understand how much time and research went into my finding a technique I was happy with. :)
Very cool quilt - I am a huge fan of lime green and any triangle :) Thanks for another great linky!
I love that you used such an affordable line of fabric! I've been a Connecting Threads fan for years and am currently working on a pillow using the new Jaybird pattern (Candy Dish) and the CT fabric line called Technicolor Tidings. Loving it and yours, too!
I love this! And I love that your husband asks you about the process...is he wondering, perhaps, how you finished it so quickly?:)
That is very funny about your husband! Your quilt looks great - I like the colors!
Your quilt looks great! I love this line of fabric, especially the clothesline print. Connecting Threads rocks!
A lovely quilt ... love the colour combinations, thanks for sharing :)
Your quilt turned out adorable. I love the fabrics you chose!
Love the FM swirls you used to quilt it. A nice foil to the geometric triangles.
Wonderful, wonderful. Love your quilting!
really cute, love the lime green combo :) Wish I had an actual finish this week! Next time, though, next time...
Darn. I don't have anything to link up this week. But I do love your quilt, and I'm a fan of Connecting Threads as well.
Oh how I LOVE a lime green binding;-) This is beautiful, amazing how a "simple" pattern can look so stunning!
I envy the beautiful quilting you do on your domestic machine. Maybe your next book could teach all of us how you do it?
This is so fabulous!
This is great, deceptively simple. I love the binding color.
I love the colors in that one too. The design you used is perfect and I too love pieced borders. I just learned about that method for machine sewing bindings and I'm going to try it out myself.
Amanda, I love CT's Essentials thread. Would you recommend the 70 wt for machine quilting or is it more suited for long arm work? Thanks.
What a fun quilt! I'm ready to piece together a back for one of my quilts, and I need to layout all my fabric and see what I've got. I'm going to machine bind this one (wish me luck!).
How great to have a quilt finish amidst all the other things you have going on. I do love adding the binding with my machine - it goes SO fast! I'm hoping to finish a quilt (or two) over my Christmas break.
Love, love, love the quilt. I love everything about it. :-)
OMGOSH, I can't believe I missed the link up. Work :( Maybe next week. Off to visit some blogs!
The colors are fantastic. I really love the clothesline fabric on the back. Nice work.
Love the quilt and love the material collection - as always. Karen
Beautiful!!!!!!
Oh Amanda, this is darlin'! Kept eyeing this line at Connecting Threads, and this makes it a must get! Looks so fresh! This quilt is adorable!! Never attempted triangles, may have to give it a go! Well done on your fantastic finish!!
Pretty colors, pretty quilt.
