I like to piece my quilt backs, especially when one of the prints repeats in a certain way (such as this fabric), so I don't need to worry about lining up the repeat. Well, I adore this print, and I had JUST the right amount to back my quilt. I took it as a sign that I should try to piece it together, rather than adding in another print or solid. It was a little tricky (I pinned a lot and re-sewed a bit) but totally worth the effort. It feels like a great accomplishment! Woo-hoo!
This is one step closer to finishing an old WIP. But there is one problem. I love the back so much that I decided I'm going to have to re-work the front now. I want to LOVE the front, rather than just like it. One step forward, one step back.

I love this argyle print too. Well, I can't wait to see the front.
P.S. I have something finished! finally! I'll link up tomorrow. Whew. I was afraid that would never happen.
I love this back and I'm sure the front will be stuning as well!

Me too! This argyle is terrific. I can completely understand your attraction to it. Your 'future is bright' quilt was also argyle-inspired so clearly this is one of those patterns you will always be drawn to. For me it is quartrefoils, but I haven't found a way to introduce them to my quilts yet. But give me time! I think all your quilts are fabulous. Well done!
Argyle...swoon. Always a classic. Just makes ya warm thinking of it!
fantastic job piecing! Can't wait to see what your WIP is!
The quilting police have giving me permission to alter a pattern especially when it's to make me happy...as I'll be happier with the final product...even when it's all put together and it means reverse sewing for a few days!
Take care...

Yes, this is very impressive!!! You should give yourself a pat on the back after that great alignment!
I would've felt the same way! love the argyle! May I inquire of the designer/manufacturer? I never see fabrics like this!
Love your math facts quilt, too! I've been wanting to do an orange and white quilt!

I love that fabric...I've been coveting it for a while now. GREAT job piecing it!
You did a wonderful job of piecing this!
Holy moley! That's one heck of a piecing you did. I think it's pretty neat that you have such high standards that you won't settle on the satisfaction scale on either the front or the back.
I think it turned out great! Well worth the effort! I can't wait to see the finished project!
Bravo. However, now I have an overwhelming urge to make a pieced quilt with an argyle design.
Love the argyle print :) Nice job!
I love that fabric!! It's very preppy :).

Can I send you some of my WIP's? :D
