Looks lovely! Do you have a particular plan of attack while making these blocks? Could you share a tutorial? I love the look, but freeze when I sit down to do some.
Love this! Very beachy -- sun, sea & sand!
Love the colors and the way the shapes and colors are playing together!!
This looks great! Love, love, love these colors!
Oooh! I love this. So pretty!
I like this look - the colors and design are great!Karen
I am LOVING this.
I Plead Quilty,Thanks! This is what we (Cheryl and I) called "slab piecing" in our book Sunday Morning Quilts. There is a how-to section describing the process in the book.this quilt is many slabs all hanging out together. :) it's an improv approach to scrap quilting. it does take some practice, but it does get easier over time. i hope you try it!hope that helps!amandajean

How many different colors are you going to do?
What a fun roll to be on. You must having so much fun with these colors.
Great quilt! I love the look. I hope I never tire of quilting either...that's why I take breaks from it, reverting to knitting at times.KarenP.S.I just posted a pic of a batik table mat I'm making. It's all together, just needs to be quilted now.
Good for you--and the blue and greens are so pretty together! Looks great, Amanda!

Julianne K,I should be getting more books in stock early next week! :)amandajean
Very cool! I'm still enjoying every single page of the book. Every morning with a cup of coffee.
I was going to second the request from "I plead quilty" at the to for a tutorial, but I see you have included it in your book. I think I will buy it...!
I love these colors! I know it will be beautiful finished :-)
Oh so pretty! I love the colors and the little beautiful bits.
That is really interesting... I love how it's coming together. Very cool. It's so neat to see how quilters' styles change over time and how different this top is from what you were doing when I first started reading you oh so long ago... :-)
This is awesome! I'm still planning on slab piecing those cool storage boxes. On the other hand, I have bunches of solid scraps (and this time I think I'll keep them instead of sending them your way...) so maybe this is where they will be heading.
I really do like this and you have done a lovely job. It looks so well balanced. I am also a fan of greens and blues in a big way. And the key is to enjoy yourself. Oh, wouldn't it be so hard if we didn't?
oooooh - i LOVE this one! Makes me want to go to the ocean!
I think this is really pretty, and I have a crazy thought. Sorry. I love it on the floor. Wound't this be a great print on a boy's bedroom floor. haha Never saw tiles like that and who could ever paint that! But I love it!
I have informed my hubby that sunday Morning Quilts is what he's getting me for my birthday this month. :-) I really want to try the improv piecing, and seeing the gorgeous blues and greens you've used has settled the matter.
It really different and stylist look. This designs are so beautiful and extra ordinary art and craft.
