I'm doing the same except mine are log cabins of course. I'm doing a whole color at a time so I've only gotten through red, orange, and yellow.

I was going to leave a smart comment about indigo too, but someone beat me to it...what color is indigo anyway?

Aimee said...

I like it a lot! Especially the purple. Well I guess it's technically violet, isn't it? :)
I know purple doesn't get used very much, but I do like it!

Roxanne said...

btw, I really like them!

AmandaJean, I had to do a little giggle at this post. I haven't seen ROYGBV for a long time. Love your blocks. Woman, you have the motherload of stash and you make some greast stuff with it.
Have a great weekend.

I just adore the whole spectrum concept, and your scrappy approach is fresh, fun and yet sophisticated (but not fussy). Inspires me to get back to my sewing machine and just try something without worrying that I might fail.

Kelli said...

I've been thinking of doing a quilt with ROY G. BIV too! Of course you're ahead of me...I think for a long time before I get around to doing anything about it! Love it!
