spurcing up the house, part 3

Way back at the end of May when I finished this quilt, Anina asked, "What are you planning for the pillows?"

Here I am, 7 months later, with my answer.
The throw pillow is inspired by glittergoods.
The king sized shams are quilted, of course.



And here it is all together.
(I am grinning from ear to ear, I love it so!)

I promise the next post will be a picture of something besides a bed.

Gorgeous. I just recently happened upon your blog and have been so inspired. My grandmother was a quilter. She used to let me sit on her lap and do a bit of sewing. A funny site I'm sure with the big old quilting hoop. I never had the time (or guts) to give it a try myself until lately. I will be looking back over your quilt along to be sure.
