zippers galore

Just some of the zippers I scored at Goodwill yesterday.
Bag of 55 for $3.00. And I had $2.00 credit to use.
Guess the zip pouch love is going to be perpetuated.

great colours! I have never sewn using a zipper :( I guess it's time I try huh? Can't wait to see them incorporated in your terrific work.

Oh my gosh! I am so jealous! I've been waiting for a sale on zippers at Joann's for ages. Between these zippers and your sulu-design haul, you are living my shopping dream come true!

Zipper pouches galore!!! I'll have to go visit Goodwill. It's the only thrifting place I haven't tried and the others around here really suck.

Wow! You got a real bargain there! And in such a range of colours, too.

55?!? Get busy! There has been much love for your pouches posted in the comment section from my post on our swap - you may have some admirers hoping for a trade. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Good for you! Nice variety there. Me, I detest zippers and putting them in. Can't get one straight to save my life. I avoid them at all costs. I'll even alter a pattern so I can use buttons just so I don't have to try to put in a zipper. Occasionally I will try one, if the pattern just won't really work without it, but it usually requires some "quality" time with my seam ripper. ( I don't consider spending ANY time with my seam ripper "quality" time.)

Ditto on the colors and nice variety of sizes, I always have trouble finding small sizes.

Wow! 55 zippers would give you enough to make a zipper man costume.
