quilt progress

I have my quilt top done.
It scares me to death to try to quilt this thing on my regular sewing machine.
I will probably have several cold sores break out on my face.
It wouldn't be the first time because of a quilt.

It looks gorgeous Amanda! Wow! Does this match some orange curtain fabric from Mill End? I can't remember if you bought that or not!! I know you will do a great job quilting it - you always do! Good luck!!

I just finished quilting a doll quilt on my machine and I can't imagine doing a full size quilt!

I love it! I really like the splashes of orange with the big white borders.

If you're not up for quilting it on your machine, I know there are places where you can rent a long-arm by the hour.

Wow! It looks great! and you're so much more prolific than me. I'm still s-l-o-w-l-y trying to get a lap size quilt top done.
Since it's fr your bed you might want to think about having it professionally quilted...

Ooohs and ahhhs coming from my direction - the colors are so lively and bright, and together the squares are stunning. I'm breaking out in one of my rashes just thinking about you breaking out in cold sores! Good luck!

The colors choice was perfect. I'm so curious to see it quilted.

Having never quilted on my domestic sewing machine, I can't imagine what that is like (I do mine on a longarm). I do like the top, it's cheery!

I can't believe how fast you are at getting things done! It is looking great so far! I can't imagine trying to quilt it either. I'm scared to do any thing bigger than a lap size. You are a brave soul for attempting a king size!

It looks awesome! Last year I quilted my (bigger than) queen-size quilt on my regular sewing machine, but it was only straight lines and meander quilting on the border. I got a pretty sore back and neck though. Got me dreaming about a long arm machine...

Hi There, Just found your blog from a link at the purl bee. I love this quilt! Love those colors, it is beautiful. Also, what a score on those zippers at goodwill! I just started making zipper pouches and it is addicting, isn't it?
