I used this design to show of the large scale prints.
Fabrics from Heather Bailey's fresh cut fabric line.
I finished the quilt in 2 weeks.
The backing fabric is by Tracy Porter.
I love my pretty new quilt.
The boys in my house wouldn't dare use it.
Just what I was after. ;)

I think this is my new favorite of all your quilts! I really like fabric with large print and I think your pattern uses it perfectly. But I also like how you quilted the larger squares. It kind of makes it look like its made up of small pieces even though its all one square...does that make any sense?! Anyway, I love it - great job!
I love Heather Bailey's fabrics and your quilt looks so Springy - cool, fresh, clean.
Turned out GREAT!! You must of been busy today!!!
I love it! It will go nicely in your freshly painted family room! It was nice to talk to you on the phone yesterday. I hope we are able to get together next Minnesota trip.
The prints are fabulous, and the back fabric is awesome. I love your "pretty," sly plan!
that is beautiful! I love how the simple design shows off the fabrics!
Beautiful job! Makes me want to get off the computer and go sew today.
(You should consider adding the photos to the "Freshcut and fabulous" photo group on Flickr. Here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/groups/heatherbailey_freshcut/ )

I'm checking out your blog today - I love your quilts! I love this one, especially the backing fabric. It looks very whimsy!
I've got your bib-tutorial bookmarked. My 3mo. old is a spitter, so what better way to practise some quilting!
Beautiful! An inspiration! - Minka
i know it's apparently been a while since you made this little baby, but i ADORE it so much. do you happen to remember how big-ish the squares are? i'm brand new to quilting. i'm on my first and i'm hooked. as well as being ridiculously hooked on this blog! hours a day i tell ya. i'm soaking up the knowledge. so thanks for sharing all you do.
beth,
i think i cut the large squares 6.5", the small squares were cut at 2.5" and the cream sashing was cut 2.5" x 6.5". have fun with your quilt!
aj
