I put together a little bright birch tree starter kit that I'd like to send to a new home. I've collected a huge variety of small pieces (and they are small) but they are perfect for my bright birch trees pattern! The great thing is, most of the pieces are ready to sew up...very little trimming will be required. The kit includes a copy of the print pattern and a tall pile of small scraps...just add the background fabric of your choice! If you don't like small scraps, please do not enter. (Seriously!) :) If you do like small scraps and you'd like a chance to win, please leave me a comment on this post. In your comment, I'd love to hear what quilt project you are closest to completing. (I'm anxious for a finish, can you tell?) I'll pick a winner in a few days. US mailing addresses only this time, please! Thank you!

I love scraps...been collecting them for years from my projects....waiting for the right project to come along. I am close to finishing up the tokoyo subway map quilt that I started 5 (?) years ago. (White birch tree is the NH state tree too :) )
This quilt is one of the first things that caught my eye in "modern" quilting! Scraps would be fantastic as I don't have a great many at the moment. What a fun giveaway! Thank you.
I am near to finishing my fifth Cathdral windows Quilt. I 'd like to bein the drawing for the Birch Tree quilt pattern and bunch of scraps.
I have scraps! I am always looking for ways to use them up.
The current project is in the sewing machine being quilted. I have a dozen more hexagons to quilt and the borders before I can start binding it.
I love scraps and I don't have nearly enough variety. Love your pattern, it looks like a fun project. Thanks for the chance!
I had downloaded the pattern and made this quilt! I love it! I have a solid color layer cake that is reserved for another quilt. Batik strips I think.
This quilt has always caught my attention, too. It just looks like FUN to put together. I'd love to be in the drawing! I am closest to completing a t shirt quilt for a graduation gift. Need to square up, add borders, baste, Quilt, Bind and label. Guess that'she not so close. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
I'm almost done with the top to my thrift store quilt. The top is basic rectangles cut from thrift store purchases (mostly interesting pillow cases), the back is a sheet from the thrift store, and the batting is a blanket from the thrift store. I'm learning a lot and trying to improve my basic skills, so using materials that aren't too dear makes me not too worried about perfection!
I LOVE the Birch Tree pattern (and I love real birch trees too!) and I also LOVE small scraps! Thanks for the chance to win such a cool prize!
I am working on a baby quilt for a cute nearly-one-year old, I have another baby quilt to make for a November baby but I am going to take a break between the two quilts and do some camping-theme cushions because it is camping season!! :-)
Me please! I realized recently that I don't have enough scraps and considered buying some on Etsy. Haven't hit purchase yet, though!
I'm working on a tie dye flannel and minky quilt for my son. Just need to bind it!
I love this quilt. I am closest to completing a strip quilt for a baby who has 2 cousins, all born in a 5 week period with the loss of their uncle in the middle so I am working on 3 baby quilts and soon will be working on a memory quilt. Very dear friend is mom to all. Tough time and lots of joy.
I was just thinking about this quilt this morning and put the pattern on my craftsy wish list! What a sweet giveaway! Maybe I won't have to wait until my birthday to get it. ;)
I am closest to finishing a red Cross quilt. Good luck with your finish!
I love scraps i am working on Bonnie Hunter's pattern talking turkey. Thanks for the chance to win love that pattern.
Love scraps. I'm working on a quilt for a wedding gift using Robert Kaufman's Lumina Dawn fabric. I've been holding on to this fabric for two years now.
I love any and all scraps. I am currently working on a baby quilt for my new grand daughter.
I love scraps! I'm sewing the binding on a plus quilt.Have about 1/3 left, so the end is in sight.
I have always loved this pattern. Hope I win! I could make it after I finish a t-shirt quilt for a customer. Thanks
I'd love to win this beautiful scrappy pattern! I just finished the Garden Charm quilt so I have lots of scraps to finish this fantastic quilt!
I have many wip quilting projects, but the closest to completion project is curtains for my sewing room. I do so need another project??? thanks for a chance.
Love this pattern! I am trying to finish a patriotic row quilt before the 4th of July 😬
Love to try that pattern. I'm finishing up the last of 15 quilts without batting that the team from our church will take to Haiti in August.
I'm ready to bind a blue strip-pieced charity quilt, yeah! Another one in pinks and creams waiting for quilting
The birch trees pattern has been on my quilty bucket list since I saw it way back when. These scraps would be a great way to kick it off and onto my WIP list.
Right now I'm almost finished with a plus/arithmetic quilt using thrifted men's shirts in all different shades of blue for a friend's new beach cottage.
Cool pattern and such a great way to use up small scraps! I'm about to start quilting my sister's quilt. I used the pow wow pattern by cluck cluck sew. I think it will be awesome once I'm done!
I've wanted your Birch Trees pattern for a very long time. I like everything you do! I am ready to back and baste a quilt based on Fresh Lemons' Starfall pattern, and am almost ready to do the quilting on a rainbow priest's stole. I took a few hours out today to copy a favorite child's drawing onto fabric with Sharpies and fabric crayons and make it into a quilted pillow. Fun times!
I just finished a quilt to be sent to the victims and families of the attack in Orlando. they requested rainbow colors and hearts.
I have not one, not two, but THREE near finishes! two are crib quilts that need the binding hand-sewn to the back, and the last one needs binding, too (a bright grass green stripy one, yaaaaay!). I will not count the many quilts that are still in progress! And also, just because it's big news around here, I fixed the sink yesterday. All by myself. Well, me and YouTube.
I am really close to being done with a Fancy Forest quilt (Elizabeth Hartman pattern). Just need to clean up some of the quilting!
I am about 3/4ths of the way done with quilting a self-designed nearly-king size quilt for myself and my husband. The end is in sight!
I love scraps! It's not a big project but I'm trying to finish up a paper pieced block for the IA State Fair charity quilt. It's a judged category, so, I'm trying to be very precise. The entered blocks will be used to make a quilt for next year's auction to benefit the Fabric & Thread department. sjvonfumetti at yahoo dot com
I would love to win the scraps! I have your pattern, but haven't taken the time to cut all the little scrap pieces. The bag of scraps would make it easy to get started. I am currently working on my first quilt made from equilateral triangles. I love how it is turning out.
Alas. I only have an idea and a fabric pull for my next two quilts. I just finished four quilts for two for my brothers, one for my granddaughter and one for a sister-in-law. I have to admit that when I first saw the birch tree quilt I wasn't a fan of it, but it has been growing on me. I also don't seem to be able to let go of scraps. Most of my quilts are scrap quilts. Would love these.

I'm working on a quilt called Circle maze, from the pattern with the same name. The background is FULL of low volume scraps! It's been a fun challenge. Thank you for the generous giveaway!
I am a total scrap quilter and would love some of your scraps!
I am close to finishing my own version of your Scrap Vortex quilt top... just need some concentrated sewing time!
Cool pattern and such a great way to use up small scraps! I'm about to start quilting my sister's quilt. I used the pow wow pattern by cluck cluck sew. I think it will be awesome once I'm done!
Amanda, I live this pattern. I think I commented about it not long ago. I would love the chance to win. I am getting ready to quilt a queen size wedding quilt.
I am close to getting a flimsy done for my granddaughter--sewing up rows of blocks to QAYG thanks for the chance to win this lovely pattern and SCRAPS, too!1 Hugs Julierose
I love the Birch Tree quilt! Making it with your scraps--yes, I'm a scrap person--would be a great change from my more somber fabric.
I've quite close to finishing the hand quilting on a baby quilt, using a large fan stencil. It's what I love to do in the evening when I watch something on Netflix.
Thanks for your giveaway and for all the fun things you share with us.
Love that birch tree pattern! Working on placemats for the dining room right now, but customizing the ones for my 3 small kiddos. Thanks for the giveaway
I've been promising myself I'm going to make that Birch Trees quilt some day. Maybe this is the day? I'm closest to finishing a Pulse quilt right now. Just got back from the LQS pin basting it (I don't have a big enough table at home and would.not.dare get down on the floor ... never able to get up again) and hope to get it quilted before the week is up.
I pinned your birch trees pattern thinking it would make an adorable baby quilt! I make so many for charity that I'm always in need of fresh ideas to keep me going and from getting bored with them! My closest finishes are a patriotic Bargello (in need of borders, etc) for my husband and a 4-patch Revisited (B. Hunter design) in need of quilting. I'm getting there on them, but I have block for 2 veteran's charity quilts in the design wall that are up first.
This is a pattern I've wanted to make - so cool! I am a scrap quilter - of tiny scraps that get donated from other quilters. I just finished a baby postage stamp that needs to basted out so I can quilt it.
I just finished a scrappy quilt with 9 patches and appliquéd hearts quilt for my daughter/soon to be mommy! Guess what!! The baby room is teal and gray with a woodland theme and BIRCH TREES painted in the corner! Wouldn't this pattern and bright scraps make a terrific quilt that just matches this cheery room!
I've looked at the Birch tree pattern several times. I am closest to finishing a Halloween quilt and a small Zaka quilt.
Small, tiny scraps are awesome! I consider them eye exercise, and they keep me sharp! I just finished a baby quilt yesterday so I am ready for a new project! The Birch Tree pattern is beautiful and I would be honored to give it a go.
I'm finishing up a quilt I started last summer - my first entirely hand appliquéd, hand quilted, and hand embroidered. The handwork has been fun! But now I'm ready for something new and different. The scrappy birch trees look like just the thing!
I love this pattern and could always use more scraps! I am working on several projects right now, but NEED to finish up a denim/flannel quilt for my sister (I owe it from Christmas, but am early for next Christmas!!)
The scrappy goodness pile would love to turn into trees in my sewing room! Closest to finishing is a Texas Braid top I started in a Bonnie Hunter workshop.
I'm making a pixelated skull quilt for my boyfriend. It's made up of many many many 2" squares and I've just finished piecing the top. Love this pattern and other peoples scraps always seem more interesting than my own!
Your blog definitely has me excited about scrappy quilts - very inspired! With lots going on this summer including my son and family moving to Okinawa, Japan, I'm making quilts that I can sew together without too much thinking...started one yesterday and the blocks are coming together quickly. I have the need to create - so as simple as it is, it's satisfying to see something coming together. I purchased the Birch Tree pattern a while ago - it would be great to have all the scraps ready to go!
I'm closest to finishing my daughter's first quilt -I just need to find time to hand sew the binding (challenging as she's about to start walking!).
I also love scraps, in fact the project that I am closest to finishing is one of yours, the Candy Coated Quilt!
I'm closest to finishing a blue batik tuffet.
I'm always drawn to scrap quilts. There are many color combinations and variations of Birch Trees in the internet quilting world; and every one of them is appealing. Would love to work with the scrap collection.
What a fun giveaway! I'm tantalizingly close to finishing a hexie quilt. Just the binding is left!
I would love to win this! I'm not actually working on any quilts right now, too busy with my knitting! And my 22 month old twins, but never mind that! 😜
My picture windows look over a birch grove and would love to to make this quilt to bring nature in, without the bugs. But, I promise not to start until I finish the binding on my batik lap robe.
Though I just started quilting, this pattern is on my sewing/crafting bucket list! I'm a sucker for bright colors, and as I newbie my scrap collection is rather small.
I am just getting reading to quilt my first quilt, a mini quilt for my cat to nap on. I'm excited to finish it!
One quilt I have been working on for over 5 years....and it's not that complicated, but have been interrupted by many projects including my love of embroidery. i have always LOVED your Birch Trees design. It is happy and modern, a nice pairing.
I feel like I'm not close to finishing anything, ever! In my dreams I am close to finishing a Trip Around the World quilt. I'm sure it has dust on it...
If I could just get motivated I am close to finishing two bags, a baby quilt and two full sized quilts. On the quilts, all I need to do is put the batting and backing together and quilt then bind, the bags just need their bindings on the tops and closures put on, the baby quilt needs me to figure out exactly how I am putting it together. (Once I do that, I am nearly finished!)
Thanks for the opportunity to with your bright birch tree kit and small scraps. (I love scraps!!!)
I'm working on some Diamond Pillows for Christmas!
I am in the middle of making a baby quilt for my beloved friend, I just love giving quilt as a personal gift.. :) its always bring such a good memory for the receiver and even me
I Love scraps! I am currently finishing up some scrappy rugs!
I have one quilt just waiting for binding. I hope to find the perfect fabric tomorrow when I visit a quilt store I discovered last month.
Your blog is just lovely! I am really enjoying your proects. I am oh so close to completing the Bloom Quilt that was done as a quilt a long with Lori Holt. Lots of small pieces (which I love!) Appliqued. I have 4 more blocks! I got behind due to an illness, but I am oh so close to finishing. Thank you for the opportunity to win this pattern and wonderful pile of scraps.
I love love love this quilt!! I'm finishing up a Bonnie Hunter Lozenges quilt and assembling a kaleidoscope quilt that's been a ufo for way too long. Thanks for the giveaway.
I'm closest to finishing a quilt made of all 2" squares. I thought it would be easier to use that fusible grid. It is more accurate, but not necessarily easier.
I love small pieces and I'd love your birch scraps. But all my backgrounds would be yellow!
this would be super win. thanks for the opportunity. I can supply a US mailing address
Love Scraps!! I am currently close to finishing a Burgoyne Surrounded Quilt which was started in March at a quilt retreat. Thanks so much for the giveaway!!
I'm nearing completion of my Calico Rick Rack Quilt. The pattern is from a class I took with Gayle Bong about 5 years of so ago. I finished the quilting over the last 3 days and hope to attach the binding this weekend. Thanks for a chance to win your wonderful Birch Tree kit!!
I am a scrap hoarder. I love them and the pattern is precious. I would love to put my name in the pot. Maybe I will be lucky this time. genie

I am currently trying to finish up a patriotic tumbler quilt in time for the fourth. Honestly don't know if I will be successful. Time will tell. I truly enjoy working with small scraps.
Super fun giveaway! I guess I'm closest to finishing my son's airplane quilt but... I just finished the cutting so I have a looong way to go. :/
What a fun opportunity! The hubby works evenings, so Friday's is my enjoy quilt blogs, and I have fallen love with yours, and how everyone shares their accomplishments. Thank you for sharing your gifts, and talents. Have a GREAT 4th of July long weekend!! MNPennyQuilts.
Cool this pattern has been on my wish list for years! I am trimming up the blocks in my latest quilt. It's baskets free pieced a la Gwen marston in a funky color scheme!
The birch tree quilt was one of my favorites. I have a current WIP that's called sticks and it is very similar. My closest finish is a Lakehouse themed quilt for my best friend who is selling their family cabin in Northern Minnesota after having it in their family for more than 80 years. I started sewing on the binding and found I was 1 strip short. I left a leader and ender and went ahead and hand stitched the rest of the binding on. This quilt was sandwiched with a piece of combed wool from a roll of wool batting I bought at a rummage sale. It should keep my friend very warm and snuggy this winter.
I have been so inspired by your scrap quilting, including your scrap vortex quilt (which I have started) and my organization of my scraps by color which I am now als using to make the Missing U quilt in your Sunday Morning Quilts (co-authored with Cheryl Arkinson). Your scrap ideas are great and fun and I am having a good time with both projects! I would love to make the Bright Birch Trees with my basket of snippets and your snippets added to the mix. . . I have plenty of stash for background!
I'm about 1/2 way through my snapshots quilt. It's taking a long time because I'm so distractable and have been battling chronic illness for the last few years. I hope to finish this quilt in the next month or two.
I would love the scraps and pattern! I am basting my penny patch quilt. I used Rachel's (stitched in color) tutorial and Lucky Strikes by Kim Kight and other C&S prints. I'm proud to say I used all fabrics from my stash for it!
Thanks for the awesome giveaway! I've got a quilt top waiting for a backing!
I would love this. Saw a license plate "SKRAPY" today, and thought of your long list of scrap projects.
I love scraps! I am closest to completing a red, white, and blue quilt made with a variety of traditional blocks.
Going on vacation in 2 days. No finishes coming any time soon.
I would love the birch scraps. I am closest to finishing a quilt started by my grandmother-- I am hand sewing the squares.
Thank you for the giveaway, I have your pattern and would love the scraps! I'm working on a twin size quilt for my granddaughter, two crib quilts and a fidget quilt for my mom-in-law.
I have the top of a modern Irish chain completed and the quilt sandwich together.
I am finishing up a shirt for my husband. The fabric is a batik that looks like honey comb from a bee hive. Since my husband is an avid beekeeper, this will be a fun weekend shirt.
I have always admired your birch tree quilt. I have only made two quilts so my scrap stash is tiny. Would love to add to it and make your quilt!
Your blog is (the only) one that I've followed every week for a number of years....I love your enthusiasm, your variety of projects and admire your scrap stash! Is the grass greener on the other side??
Oo so excited i love this quilt..i have been struggling with a swoon quilt probably 2 years
I am working on some project bags for my sock knitting. I love quilt-as-you go ones---I want my knitting to be happy!
I love your Bright Birch Trees pattern and would love to make one! Thanks so much for the giveaway! I have lots of things in the works, but the closest to finishing is a little mini heart mugrug for a friend.
I've always loved this pattern but I have yet to try it. Right now I'm working on my first paper piecing quilt. It is leaving me with many small scraps!
Love scrap quilting
Working on scraps strips stacks
Oh, I do love small scraps and would be tickled to make a Bright Birch quilt with them, along with a few of my own scrappy scraps. I'm sure they'd all love to hang out together! ;) I am almost finished with a lap quilt top for my elderly aunt. I had 2 layer cakes of Moda Paris Flea MArket and knew it would please her. I'm hoping to finish it up over the weekend.
Scraps- May I have some more sir. I am ready to quilt a modern coin baby quilt.
I love scraps of any size or shape. I never have enough real scraps and usually must use yardage or fat quarters to supplement. I have occasionally bought other peoples' scraps from Goodwill. The quilt I am getting near to finishing is a Bonnie Hunter design called "Bricks and Stepping Stones" and most of the fabric is either old stash or scraps from Goodwill.
I have just finished the back of a pixelated picture quilt and am hoping my longarmer will call me soon
I also just need to bind a leader and enders quilt
and am 20% done with a red dress quilt for a slight auction
I have loved the birch pattern and want to make it someday , if I win that someday could be in july
Ooooh I DO looooove scraps...save all my lil' pieces!! :) Thank you for the chance to win such a fun Give-a-way!! :D
Am currently working on finishing a Layer Cake Double Slice quilt (a Jenny Doan Tutorial...)
I'd love that birch tree pattern and bright scraps! I just finished your scrap purse and have two others with the front and back pieces finished and quilted. I just need to do the linings and assemble the purses. I have gotten TONS of compliments on the purse. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
Oh my goodness this would be so much fun! (Like I need more projects to start) I just finished a few pillow cases for my mom yesterday and I'm jumping into a two colour adapted butter churn quilt. And there's the basket weave quilt basted and ready to quilt. And a giant flying geese picnic quilt to back with denim...
I've had my eye on this pattern for a while, and this kit would help move me in the right direction! Thanks for the giveaway! :)
I love scraps, & actually prefer working with smaller pieces. I'm currently working on hand quilting a Christmas quilt, & have a set of matching quilts waiting for binding. Thanks for the lovely giveaway
I'm working on Bonnie Hunter's Allietare. But I have admired the birch trees many times & would love to tackle it!
First of all, thank you for the chance to win! Sadly, I am not close to a finish right now. I need to work on some diaper covers soon, and they will go quickly :)
I am working on a quilt for a widowed friend made from some of her hubby's shirts. I hope to finish it soon.
I enjoy your work.
No finishes in sight for me as I have just ordered a jelly roll to make the Jelly roll jam 2 quilt from fat quarter shop x
Iain.ross30 at gmail dot com
I'm finishing the binding on a scrap quilt. Love your Birch Tree pattern! Thank you for the chance to win!
I love tiny scraps! Very close to finishing my Framed quilt, with crumb centers in the stars. Looking forward to doing more with crumbs, too!
I'm just about ready to FMQ and bind a quilt for my aunt -- it's a very simple patchwork featuring predominately Straweberry Fields, the first version by Fig Tree for Moda.
I'm finishing up a quilt out of the book Color Therapy!
I have a quilt top all done and awaiting quilting (soon...so soon!) that is a wedding gift for my niece (she got married last Sept.). I need to get moving because she just announced she's pregnant and now I need to get a baby quilt going :)
Also-I adore little scraps and so does my little girl who likes to lay them all out in different arrangements for a variety of projects!
Love it! I'm currently quilting a lattice quilt, so that's the project I'm closest to finishing!
My most recent finished has been a couple of scrap quilts for new Habitat homeowners. I love anything scrappy?
First love--myfamily, second love--Scraps! :) Suburbs by Cluck Cluck Sew I made it out of Feed by Sweetwater. Just need to get the back ready and get it quilted! Thanks for the chance!
I am just binding away from finishing a t shirt quilt for my cousin's high school graduation present. I cannot wait to give it to her!
I love modern quilts and trees so I think this is a great quilt! I would love to make this one. . . just saying' :) I am starting a radio way baby quilt in blacks, yellows and greys. Hope I win!
You are so generous! Thank you. It would be so fun to "inherit" some of your scraps. They look so bright and beautiful. My nearest finish is cutting the edges of a quilt, then cutting, sewing, and hand stitching the binding in place.
--Nancy. (ndmessier @ aol.com, joyforgrace.blogspot.com)
This would be a great project for my quilty buds!! Thanks for the chance!
I love scraps. I'm close to finishing a twin-sized quilt, which is the largest I've ever done. I have about a third of the quilting to go. I always finish one project before I start another, which makes me weird in the quilting world, it seems.
I am close to finishing up my 4th of July placemats...I gotta hurry.
I am finishing up a graduation quilt. I presented the quilt, then took it back to finish the quilting! Love this birch tree quilt pattern!
I have been wanting to make this pattern for a long time! I have a US address that things can be sent to. I have a very long list of UFO's I have been working on--at least to get them to the flimsy stage. Now I need to start quilting them! First up will be those quilts that I would like to enter into our local fall fair in September. That is a lofty goal since it is summer and the lure of being outside is tempting me. 😀
I'd love some cute little scraps and that great pattern! I am slogging through Gypsy Wife and getting ready to quilt a Bonnie Hunter Allietare! Thanks! firstname.lastname@example.org
I love scraps. I have a difficult time throwing even the tiniest scrap away. I have a red, pink and white quilt that I'm making from scraps.
Who doesn't love small scraps? And I've been wanting to sew this pattern for ever. My sewing machine is having her annual spa treatment, so no finishes in the near future 🙄
My closest project to completion is two baby quilts--quilted, now just need to be bound. I also have a scrap vortex sewn and squared up, ready to be quilted as soon as I can prepare myself for that one!
I love this pattern! And I love scraps! The project I am closest to finishing right now is a zippered tote bag for my daughter. Thanks for this generous opportunity to win!
I am a fan of scrap quilts, I have fun looking at all the different fabrics in them. I have several quilt tops complete that I'm afraid to quilt because I love them, and don't want to have to stare at a wonky quilt job I will do to them. But I have to think they aren't doing anyone any good just sitting there so maybe I'll find some courage. 😉
Love the scraps! Thanks for sharing with us!
Just finished a big project, so am ready to dive in to a couple of new things with fabric I got this winter on vacation in Hawaii. Excited to do that. I love scrappy quilts, o this would be fun to try!
I love the scraps. Close, well a couple of days maybe. I'm making an Adam's Rib quilt, just something different.
I am humbly collecting scraps, because they don't seem to get more :) I would love this bundle and would pay for the international shipping, of course. Thank you for this chance!
i have finshed a top made from a pattern in quilt sampler using Kaffe Fassett fabrics. Now i just need to quilt it.
I have always liked this pattern. I just wasn't confident about picking the right background colors. I think that's very important with this quilt. I just finished a BIG scrap quilt with a zillion 9 patches. And an easy white background. I did't put a dent in all my scraps. I enjoyed the freedom of using scraps and I'm looking for a new project.
I would love to win your scraps! I'm working on a lap quilt for my brother-in-law's 70th birthday. It's based on your Just Four Fun pattern.
I like working with scraps, and you always use such cheery colors! I have a few quilts in progress, and which one I finish next will depend on which one I focus on first. The one that's been getting the most attention is a queen sized quilt that I've been hand-quilting for years. If I stay at my current pace, it should be done in 6 months or so.
Small scraps have always scared me a little bit but I have enjoyed readibg your blog so much that I would like to try a project using some small scraps! I have been working on a low volume 2x2 quilt. I just need to quilt it and bind it!
I love this quilt! I have been looking at it over the past few weeks and thought it would be perfect to add some colour to my living room. I've been holding out until I finish a few other projects that are underway before starting something new. (Ha, ha, ha .... as if that has ever stopped a quilter from adding to her stash.)
This is a brilliant pattern. I am just finishing a half inch hexagon double quilt which has taken a year to hand sew and need to have something to start on my new sewing machine which should be delivered tomorrow! Thanks very much for your kind offer. Jaytee
I would love to win this; sadly I am not in the US so am not eligible! Good luck everyone, enjoy your prize Lucky Winner :-)
I love scraps but I'm not close to finishing a quilt as I just started (rather late) the Bloom quilt. I'm in Japan right now but will be heading back to the US soon so if I win I will be able to make it!
Looks like a great kit!!
I don't have any near finishes. My projects this year are year long mysteries but I do have a lap quilt that I completed in 2013, had quilted this year that only has a little bit of binding to do.
I really love your birch pattern.
Right now I am going to put the binding on my Fancy Forest quilt and I am also working on "365 Challenge", one block a day is popping up in my e-mail.
I love scraps!! Right now I have way too many projects in the works! I have two close to being finished... Our oldest grandson is going to be six soon and he got to pick a theme or color of a new quilt for his birthday. He chose a Superhero quilt and I need to finish the pieced backing so I can quilt it. I am also putting the binding (by hand on the back) on a scrap string quilt.
Oh my goodness-to have some of 'your' scraps would be awesome! You make the most beautiful, bright projects ever! I'm still working on a small table runner, but have wanted to make this pattern of yours for awhile! Thanks for offering such a great giveaway!
Almost finished with a replica of a Geez Bends quilt. Love those scraps!
Your scraps are so bright and colorful! I have your pattern and it's on my list of quilts to make. Need to sew binding on a Texas state quilt wall hanging. Working hard to finish up WIPs that have been hanging around! Thanks for your blog- it's inspiring!
I am almost done with a wonky stars top. Thank you for this opportunity - I love your pattern!
I love this quilt. I am almost finished with a baby quilt top. Hopefully it will be finished soon.
I'm just about to finish "Goose Chase" by Jeliquilts for a swap. I love reading your blog and have eyed this pattern for a while now. Thanks for the chance to win!
I am very close to completing my biggest finish ever: a king sized (120 inch square) quilt for our bed. Just one more border to sew on, create a backing, and send it off to the long armed! Whew.
Wow! This post sure generated a lot of comments! Don't put me in the draw! I already have the pattern and have made the quilt. It was so much fun! Might need to make another!
Almost finished with a quilt for our bed. It would be a finished top if it weren't for shrinkage...
it is not something I would be drawn to but I am always up to a challenge. thank you for the giveaway..
I love scraps....it bothers me to toss even the tiniest pieces!
My "close to finished" is a king sized quilt.....it is taking me a while since I am hand quilting it but I am hopeful that it will be completed before the end of summer.
What gorgeous scraps! I haven't used many modern fabrics yet, and this would be a great starting point! Thanks tor offering the giveaway! Mary Davidson
My closest to finish quilt is a jean quilt for my nephew's graduation, last year. It is all basted! Then I have dozens of other projects started, project ADD. The ideas are constantly flowing. Scraps make the world better. Sometimes, when sewing with a friend, I ask her if I can throw something away. She gives me permission, that helps rid me of the tiniest stuff. She is the best!
I'm working on Elizabeth Hartman's Hedgehog quilt. I usually complete one project before starting another but I signed up for a Kaffe Fassett block swap so the Hedgehog quilt got boxed up and put away.
I love the bright scraps and would LOVE to do that Birch Tree quilt. My scraps (and I have tons of them) are mostly dark colors which I am not motivated to use.
We always want what we don't have. :D
I love your blog and your upbeat posts.
I LOVE your Birch Tree pattern! This pattern is on my "QUILTS" list. Your scrap fabrics are PERFECT for this quilt. What a wonderful giveaway 💓💓❤️❤️!!!
I'm working on machine binding on my nieces quilt which she'll be taking to college.
Working on a paper piecing project for my best friends birthday. What beautiful scarps. Thanks for the opportunity.
I love this quilt and would love to get the scraps. This is actually on my list of quilts I want to make. Thanks!
I'm not very close to finishing any quilting projects at the moment but I am almost done knitting a hat!
I LOVE SCRAPS!!!!!
My 11 year young house sits among the birches and is called "The White Birch House". It NEEDS this quilt! (I've been thinking about it!) Got to love it!
I am working on finishing a Rail Fence Block quilt for my sister, you can see it here, http://icansewastraightline.blogspot.com/
I am also working on a scrap quilt made with 2.5 inch squares..so I would say..I like small scraps! Thank you for the chance! tghjlw at gmail dot com
I LOVE the Birch Tree pattern and am hoping this is my lucky day! I am having a little makeover in my kitchen and have made curtains and a table runner, along with a small quilt to match. The quilt is close to finishing with only the binding to go! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
I LOVE scraps and use them all the time! Currently I'm trying to finish up a queen size quilt for my nephew's wedding at the end of July. I need to get going b/c I still have to quilt it too!
The modern colored birth looks so fun! I'm almost done with a memory quilt I'm making for a friend that lost her husband suddenly. It a Storm At Sea that I'm paper piecing since I'm using so many different types of fabric (his shirts, shorts and flannels). I've hidden a heart in it to wrap her in his love. Thank you for taking the time to blog and do these giveaways.
I am halfway done quilting my Gypsy Wife quilt with straight (ish) lines. It is big compared to my sewing machine so the going is tough! I love small scraps and save them all due to your excellent example!!
I have been working on my first quilt from a pattern! I'm currently quilting it, but it is taking MUCH longer than I ever anticipated. Fortunately I'm loving the results so I'm still moving forward!
Thanks for the fun giveaway. I LOVE scraps, though probably not as much as you do. :)
I'd love to make one of these quilts. I'm a scrappy lady through and through.
I adore scraps!! I'm almost finished piecing my scrappy trip quilt.....but finding time to sew during the summer months when my kids are out of school has been tricky. Thanks for the chance.
Your pattern is in my to-do list. Would love to win. logcabinquiltsATgmailDOTcom

My scrap bag(s) is kind of like Christmas. When I look at it, or paw through it, I am reminded of projects that I have made, to whom they went and the joy (mostly) I had when making them. Getting someone else's scraps would be pretty fab.... count me in!!
I am working on quilting my scrappy pineapple quilt. It is the biggest quilt that I have quilted and I am getting quite a workout! I would love to have it finished so I can start something new. (I foolishly told my husband I would finish it before I started something new. I think I have cut enough fabric for five quilt tops during the process. You have to take breaks, right? Haha)
I am close to finishing a table runner as an anniversary gift. It is almost all 1 1/2" squares. Really enjoy working with the small scraps.
Your lovely Birch patten has been on my want to-do list for the longest time! I got a quilt back from the long arm quilter this week and I am going to start on the binding today so I am very close to a finish. 😄
I'm closest to finishing a Christmas charm square quilt my seven year old son helped to piece - but it's on hold for a bit as we are in the middle of a cross country move. Thanks for the chance -the birch trees quilt is on my bucket list :)
Not sure of how close to finishing but I'm working on the Prismatic Star.
I do love scrap quilts.
I had been working on pencil pouches with zippers as teachers gifts since school was out on the 22nd....now I am working on my first kit from craftsy. Honestly though, how can anyone follow you and NOT like small scraps? I love them, and I love your birch trees pattern!
Thanks for the chance to win some of your precious scraps and the pattern.
I'm working on my second scrap vortex quilt! Would love YOUR scraps!!
Today is binding day for my very first commision quilt!!! It is so far out of my normal zone, improvisational piecing, a neutral palette...it was such fun to make! Thank you for the opportunity to win...scraps are such fun! The scraps from the commission quilt are about to become a matching pillow cover, just because!
I've been working on my Sunday Morning quilt, Love the scraps! Would Love to win this great giveaway. Thanks for sharing and for all you do!
I love small scraps. Right now I am working on the binding on a quilt. The pattern is Ladies Luncheon from Missouri Star.
I was making great progress on some machine quilting. . .until the machine tension went out. Ugh! Thanks for the giveaway.
I started windowing a deer panel for a quilt for my son-in-law.
I started windowing a deer panel for my son-in-law a quilt. Just was laying put fabric to decide on borders.
I've been working on a nametag for Baltimore Modern Quilt Guild swap. I decided to do applique. I've never done sooooo much or sooo small applique project before.
I'm hoping I win. I've been looking for a tree pattern like this since I saw a picture in Las Vegas in May.
I certainly have plenty of scraps, but your pile looks so pretty that I couldn't NOT try to win them! I'm working on a pair of matching baby quilts for a friend who is pregnant with twin girls. One top is completed and the other needs to be sashed. The babies are due in August so I need to get moving!
More scraps??? Why not???
And because I love birch trees.
I have been hoarding for retirement (coming up soon~!) but you can NEVER have too many scraps. Really. Never. And this is one adorable little quilt. And though it's sure as certain I will never run out of quilts to make it's fun to have small projects to pick up and finish when I get involved in long drawn out ones. But, the good news is, my long armer just sent a message that two quilts are heading back home to me! So a summer full of sitting on the deck finishing their bindings is something lovely to look forward to. :-)
Oh, this is beautiful! My closest finish is a wall-hanging size map of Africa quilt, made from scraps of fabric I bought or was given during several trips to Tanzania. It's a going away gift for a colleague at work.
I love scraps. It's a good thing because they seem to multiply overnight. I'm working on little (3.5") Wild and Goosey blocks with scraps from my pineapple quilt to make coordinating shams.
I have had my eye on your birch tree pattern for a while. I love quilting anything nature related. And I use every scrap to make 9" blocks to sew with lattice into tummy time quilts for babies. My smallest pieces--the trims--are all saved to give to the local animal shelter. They, in turn, give the bags to ladies at a nursing home who turn them into pet pillows. It's a delightful no waste cycle! :-) I just finished turning a tablecloth into a picnic quilt for the grandgirls (ages 1 and 3)--the back is made from all our old jeans saved over the years.
Oh my -- what a great chance! I love looking at your birch tree quilts on the blog so much! Your blog is my go to place when I need to relax and see pretty things. Thanks for the chance - it would be so special to win these scraps!
Love the colors.....thanks for sharing!!!!!
I'm about done with a wall hanging quilt. Just can't decide whether to put the bottom row of blocks on it or leave them off--may be too big if I add them.
I love this pattern and bright, small scraps. I am almost finished a baby quilt using Anita Grossman Solomon's Monkey Wrench pattern.
