good neighbors fabric giveaway
It's been one year since my good neighbors fabric was released. That may be a silly thing to celebrate, but I, for one, am excited that it is still available in both yardage and pre-cuts. I have enjoyed seeing how others have used the fabric. I also enjoyed working it into all kinds of projects...from quilt backings to pincushions. To celebrate, I'm going to give away two bundles of good neighbors fabric...one in a warm colorway, one in a cool colorway. The giveaway is open to all. International entries are welcome with the stipulation that you will be willing to cover shipping costs, should you win a bundle. If you would like to throw your name into the hat, please leave me a comment in this post. In your comment, I would like to know if you tend to gravitate toward warm colors or cool colors when you are making projects and also where you are from. If you have made something with good neighbors fabric, I'd love to hear about that, too. :) I will pick a winner in a few days!

«Oldest ‹Older 401 – 600 of 898 Newer› Newest»I live in Indiana and I love warm colors but I should buy more cool colors. Your fabric line is beautiful and would make an amazing quilt. Thanks for the opportunity to win this.
Hi,
Thanks for the giveaway! I love both cool and warm, but would probably go with the warm. I am from Stillwater, MN. I used your reds in a Christmas quilt this year and used the grey with the big flowers in an Anita's Arrowhead quilt. They are very good stash fabrics.
Amanda Jean, It's great to have you back. Orange is me so warm colors are abound in my projects tossed with a bit of turqoise on occasion. I'm visiting Connecting Threads for a Good Neighbors Charm pack for my long list of pinnies to make.
Bluestarof2@yahoo.com
I am from Virginia and I love your fabric! Overall I prefer cool colors, with the exception of red. Red is the best color around!
I use mostly warm colors. Your fabric line is so fun and happy! I am in central Texas.
I tend to gravitate to the cool colors. I love all the light airy colors mixed with white. Your fabrics are beautiful! I am from sunny Amelia Island, Florida where we are wishing for cooler days to arrive. Mary

My top color pick is blue but I'm going to say I use rainbow colors most often. I have used your fabrics in my quilts--I love me a good polka dot and yours are just the right size! I like the x's for backgrounds too. Haven't tried the wide back fabric but it's on my list to get. Oh and I live in beautiful Southern Maryland.
Lovely! I am attracted to cool colours. Greetings from the Netherlands
I am from MN but live in WI now. Warm colors grab me as well as neutrals with high contrast, basically I love fabric and do my best to convert it into lovely quilts and bags that people will use! Thanks so much for your fabric collection, I love it!
I like most colors. My favorites are bright pink and blues. I'm a Michigan girl currently living in southern Indiana. I'm glad you're back from your blogging break. :)
I usually choose warm colors, but should probably branch out! I am a Georgia girl, transplanted to Rhode Island. Maybe the warm colors remind me of sunshine :)
I love the colors in your fabric collection! I favor the warm color way, AND also love the blues especially, in your cool colors. I've made some fabric boxes as baby gifts and love the results.
I tend to go to the cooler colors for my personal clothing, but also love corals and oranges. So I would love either bundle!!!!! Love your fabric! Also love all your projects that have given me great inspiration!
I tend to go to an autumn palette, mostly warm but with some greens. I would therefore pick the cooler bundle, just to push me out of my comfort zone a bit. I am in the western North Carolina area. I would be excited to make something with this fabric line, as I haven't tried it yet.
I tend to gravitate towards blues, but I also love warm pinks and reds. I'm from Pennsylvania
I love them all but if I had to choose I guess it would be the warm colors. I live in Clermont Florida!
I think I gravitate towards warm colors. Love your collection! I live in Madison, Wisconsin.

I like to use cool and warm colors. I live in Indiana.
I love cool colors. I also love colors that jump out at you.
Definitely warm colors. A couple years ago I painted my living room aqua and it has always seemed too cool in there, temperature-wise. I have a can of paint called Melted Butter that is going on shortly!
I have cool colors in my home at this time, but I have been eyeing the warm colors as of late. So generous of you to have this drawing. Thank you. Sandra
I am drawn to cool colors so needless to say my stash is in need of same warms! Thanks for the opportunity!
Congrats on the one year anniversary! I tend to use more cool colours, so maybe time for a change to warm things up a bit. I am in Ontario, Canada.
Cool colors are definitely my thing, but I do have a fair amount of warm colors in my stash. Your collection is a classic with those prints and colors. Congratulations once again on being a fabric designer!
I would have to say....right now I have been working with a lot of warm colors, they have a lot of energy. I live in Dallas, TX
Hi - I usually buy cool colors, and am from Oregon.
I love your fabric. I have recently moved to Las Vegas and since then I'm gravitating more toward cool colors.
Welcome back! I find that my color choice depends on my pattern choice. (Quilt making or dressmaking.) Of course, since I live in the northeast, the changing seasons may affect my choices? I'm planning a black and white quilt, but I want to add some select pops of color! Scary!

I tend to go for the cooler colors since my own personal colorway is described as "winter". I need to wear colors with lots of saturation to get color in my face, if you know what I mean. No pale peach for me! And I must wear lipstick or I don't have a face😊, I'm smack dab in the Midwest and I loved all of your pincushions recently! Would love to win your lovely fabric.
My color choices depend on my mood and the season! I do love all the crisp colors in this selection! I live in Utah.
I am drawn equally to both warm and cool colors. What I use in a project depends on the inspiration for that piece.
Hello from Syracuse, New York! I love all colors on the spectrum but I probably lean a little more toward the warm colors.
I love bright, happy colors for myself but choose whatever colors the person I'm making a gift for prefers. I'm from the East Coast but also have a home in the Southwest. Thanks for the sweet giveaway!

I tend to lean towards the cool colors. I live in the mountains of Idaho.
I like more cool colors, but use both. I started a baby quilt with Good Neighbors, but not sure I like my design, so it's on hold for now.
It is such happy, cheerful fabric and I have some already but would happily take more!!
I gravitate to colors that explode. I like to see all bright colors together.
I'm living in the state of New York.
My fingers are crossed!!!
I live in central Wisconsin on the WI river, looking at the river and watching wildlife I love working with both color groups.....and your fabric lines looks very pretty.
Cary.wisnosky@gmail.com. love reading your blog
I go for the whole rainbow! If I had to pick cool or warm colors I'd say cool. I love light airy prints and tend to avoid really dark heavy stuff. You seem to do the same. This is why I love your blog/quilts/fabrics! I'm stretching myself at the moment by making a quilt using Civil War prints. And I can't wait to return to the fun prints that I love. Greetings from Maryland.
I lean towards the blues and greens so i can make my co-worker a baby quilt. Love your blog!
I have lots of cool colors but need warmer colors. Love the fabrics. I am from middle Indiana, south of Indianapolis.
I think I lean toward cool fabrics, maybe because we are still sweltering here in Southern California!
I think I gravitate more towards cooler colors. I still love the warm tones as well. Love your fabric ..keep up the great work.
I would love a new quilt for my bedroom and the cool colors would be oerfect!
I probably use more cool colors but I love them all.
hijoffeATgmailDOTcom
I think I tend to use warm colors more, but I jump around in my colors a lot! I am originally from Minnesota but have landed in California. thank you for offering such a wonderful giveaway.
I'm not sure. I guess I do more of the warmer colors as I like pinks and reds. But I do more cooler in my decorating. I live in Woodridge Illinois.
I live in central Illinois and gravitate towards warm colors. From what the Farmers Almanac forecasts for this coming winter we are going to need plenty of "warm" quilts!
I love all color, the brighter the better. I bought the fat quarter bundle of your fabrics last year and picked out a pattern. I haven't gotten to it yet but it is a project on the list.
I use both, warm and cool. It depends on the project. With scrap quilts, it takes both. I have not used your line. But I would love to try.
I currently live in Houston, TX.
I would LOVE to win this beautiful fabric :-)! I hail from pretty close, actually - Northern MN. I gravitate towards warmer colors, but have to say, the aqua (?) blues in your selection look pretty nice. Thank you for your giveaway! Lynne.
lmhoov68@gmail.com
I love all color!Bright pink, lime green, turquoise are my favorites! I have a pattern all picked out for your fabrics. I live in Montevallo, AL.
I love your good neighbors fabric line. I live in Northwest Alabama. I LOVE fabric, as my husband can atest, so either color way will work for me. Question for you - have you started creating a new line yet?
I don't really stick to one or the other. It depends on the project. I do tend to use a lot of precuts tho. I love all your projects but I can't see myself using all the really small pieces of fabric. I live in Illinois. pam
It really depends on the project whether or not I use cool or warm colors. I love all the colors in your fabric line!
Hi. I live in the Washington DC suburbs, Virginia side. My favorite color has always been blue, so I tend to gravitate to cool colors. Thank you!
Mid-Michigan is my home. I use all colors in my scrap quilting, I'm not fussy. If I have it, it goes in. I just love color. I tend to gravitate to cooler colors when making something for myself. Thank you for a chance to win.
For the most part, I am a cool color quilter. Once fall arrives in Alabama, I can't stay away from the golds , oranges (Auburn) and crimsons (Alabama).
I love this fabric line - My colors lend towards warm tones. I have completed the Trees quilt top, from the class you taught in Fergus Falls, and am awaiting its turn at the machine quilter.
Congratulations! You were one of the first bloggers I read and loved when I started quilting 5 yrs ago. Your Sunday Mornings book is my go to for ideas to use in elementary classrooms, the students love creating purple giraffes, blue elephants, green with yellow spotted leopards with your ticker tape scraps & glue stick method.
I guess I am ambi-color-enabled. The student quilts require bright clear colors, but tend to go for the cool range.
Your collection is fab. Congratulations, again!
I love the warmer colors. I guess I tend to use the warmer colors in everything that I do & wear. I enjoy your blog from Westby, WI.
I just love bright colors...really bright! I just can't get enough of them. Your collection is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your creativity!!

One year...how fast did that go? It's worth celebrating too! I tend to gravitate towards cool colors, usually blues. But I love warm colors top!
Your fabric is so pretty and your blog is just addicting. I love reading it! I typically lean towards the cool colors :) I'm so happy that you are asking where we are. I'm in MINNEAPOLIS! I would actually love to meet up if you were up to do something like that. I think I would fangirl like whoa though :P anyway, hopefully I'll meet you in the future around town. :)
Love the warmer colours. Maybe 'cause of the cooler climate in Canada.
I tend to like warmer colours. Enjoy your blog and have been following you for several years. I am from Manitoba, Canada.
I live outside Memphis, home of Graceland, blues, and excruciating summer heat and humidity! All shades of turquoise have been my favorite since childhood (my stash confirms it's still my fave) but I also love yellow and red. I love all colors really and the idea of a neutral color scheme for my house or wardrobe makes me twitch - ha!
I just love color! And fabric and prints and solids and .....
I am drawn to both equally, though I find I am recently drawn to making monochromatic quilts, which certainly doesn't help me chew through my stash. I'm in Ohio.
I wish I could say I have make something with these su pious fabrics, but sadly not. I tend towards warm colors but am trying really hard to expand my horizons and work in a wider range of colors. I am currently working on a quilt using all the colors of the rainbow. This is hard as I tend to limit myself to only three or four colors. I am just now building my stash after FINALLY using all the fabrics I inherited. This bundle would find a loving home here.
I love cool colors. Orange pink and teal are my favorite!! I can never find enough orange for my stash.
I love cool colors. Orange pink and teal are my favorite!! I can never find enough orange for my stash.
I tend to use more warm color fabrics. I am from Missouri and love our 4 seasons with fall being my favorite.
I love cool colors. Orange pink and teal are my favorite!! I can never find enough orange for my stash.
I am so glad your fabric is still available. I tend to like to look at fabric forever before I can cut into it. Then just when I do I am short on the amount I need and can't find it. I tend to lean toward the cool colors. Thank you for a great giveaway. vkh6210 at gmail dot com
I'm in sunny and warm California so naturally, I love warm color. . Congratulations on having your very own fabric line. It's beautiful.
Thanks for a chance to win.
I go toward the warm colors, since I'm in SE Texas where it's rarely cool! However, cool colors would probably be good to infuse in my stash!
I like all colours, but tend to buy more warm colours, unless I consciously force myself to include the cool colours. I love your fabric line, so I just ordered myself a FQ pack in case I don't win one!! Don't want to take any chances! LOL
Congrats on a great line and on the 1 year anniversary!
Love all colors just depends on what the mood is when I begin
something. Your fabrics are all delicious colors.. Thanks for
all the inspiration from your following your blog you share
so many neat ideas..
Thanks for the chance.
MaryLou
Good morning. My name is Karlyn and I live in a small town, Alexander, right outside of Little Rock, Ar. I am an avid quilter and I have many quilt tops finished but I seem to have some sort of block when it comes to finishing the backs. That is why I love your web postings every week. I've just retired, about a month now, so maybe I'll get more backs done You're such an inspiration with your "get it done Friday" posts. I do tend to lean toward bright and cool colors for most of my quilts. Thanks again for your posts every week.
Those fabrics are beautiful. I tend to sew with cool colors, but my home is all warm colors. I have not yet sewn with these fabrics.
With three little girls at home, I tend to gravitate to warm colors in my sewing, but I'm totally a cool color girl when I look at my wardrobe.
I use a lot of cool colors but I love rainbow colored quilts. I am from Florida and belong to several quilting guilds. I make either art quilts or modern quilts.
I'm from Virginia, and I guess I need to grow up, and make up my mind because I like both! I love scrap quilts with every color of the rainbow. I once made a quilt twice: one for summer in the cool colors, and one for fall in those warm colors. Usually, I use them all together although my mixed stash of older muted colors, and the bright new ones I love can be a bit tough to use in the same quilt!
Cool colors always draw me in. Love you fabrics. Drhodes9@cox.net. Thanks for the chance to win
I like both color ways in your fabric. I have a single charm pack of Good Neighbors that really need a bundle so I can plan a special quilt.
I definitely lean towards the cool colors your collection is beautiful I follow you on bloglovin from the great state of West Virginia
I like brights, esp finally primary colors. I live outside Los Ang l s
Warm colors from Nebraska! Would love to win a sample of your fabrics!
Whew! Offer a fabulous give-a-way and folks come out of the woodwork! This is amazing! So many deserved comments as your fabrics are fun and hip. Congrats on producing such a wonderful line. I am from Missouri, desireably located between two quilting mecas. Lucky me! Since it is so warm here, I am going to have to go with 'warm' colors. Good luck to everyone; especially me. :)
I gravitate towards cool colors more.
I tend to gravitate to warm colors, but I love brights in any color! Your Good Neighbors fabric line is so cheerful, I'd love to make a quilt from it. I live in the middle of the USA in Bartlesville, OK. Thanks for offering the giveaway. cknapp3626(at)sbcglobal(dot)net
I like cool colors the most. These fabrics are beautiful. I love your fabrics.
I'm from Colorado, but now live in Arizona.
I tend towards warmer colors, but I'd love either bundle! It's fall and time for new projects....I am from Cambridge, Massachusetts, BTW.
Susan
I have traditionally been drawn to warm colors but in recent months I'm tending more towards the cooler blues and grays, so basically I would be ecstatic with either colorway. Enjoying your posts in southeast Texas.
I have traditionally been drawn to warm colors but in recent months I'm tending more towards the cooler blues and grays, so basically I would be ecstatic with either colorway. Enjoying your posts in southeast Texas.
It's hard to believe that a year has flown by so quickly! I make mostly scrappy projects, so I use all the colors ( purple sparingly). But every project includes some yellow or orange, so I would have to say warm are my favorites. I live on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.
I love this fabric..so fresh and bright. What does it say about me that I like the lime greens and the reds...my kitchen & living room are decorated with those colors. I live in SD.
Greetings from Grand Rapids, Michigan. My kids are back in school and now I finally get a chance to quilt again. I tend to buy warm colors but I want to branch out and work with fabrics that are different than my usual. Right now I'm working on a hst quilt with all the fabrics in my stash plus from my two daughters cotton dresses from when they were little.
I usually choose cool colors but love the reds, oranges, and yellows in your fabric. I'm quilting in Alabama.
I generally gravitate towards warm colours. I love your fabric - I made my brother-in-laws family a quilt with it for Christmas last year, it was so bright and happy, they loved it. I'm in England.
I'm definitely a cool color gal!
I am really pulled toward warm colors. That said, I am also quite smitten with just blue and white together!
I love cool colors that remind me of the ocean. I'm landlocked right now though, in Pittsburgh.

I tend to gravitate towards cool colors.mi love blues and aquas, cool lavenders, and gray. I'm im NJ but spent 5 years in Ohio and became a Mennonite. That's where I got the quilting bug. I had attempted a few quilts prior but it really got me there.
Cool colors! Although I enjoy mixing in a zinger from the other side now and again! Thanks for opportunity to win your very fun fabric.
I have a mix of warm and cool in my home. I prefer the cooler shades most of the time.
I love this line--would love to have either colorway.
Diana in Dixon, IL
Happy Anniversary! It's wonderful that your line of fabric have the one-year mark.
I live in Austin, Texas. Austin's temperatures can range from about 10 degrees Fahrenheit to 110 or so. I've noted that I like cool colors in the summer and warm colors in the winter.

I tend toward cool colors - greens and purples. These are colors I also wear. But also like red and orange.
I'm in New Jersey, and tend to be a "cool colors" person, but I have a daughter who is convinced that EVERY quilt should have at least a small splash of orange! My stash of warm colors could use a boost!
I don't think that's silly! It's super cool and congratulations! :)
I love bright colors. Always enjoy seeing what you're up to in your blog posts.
Thanks!
I enjoy working with both warm and cool tones, depending on the project. If I had to choose, warm would have the edge. I am from the San Francisco Bay Area. Thank you for the happy giveaway! Love your fabric line; I hope there is another one to follow Good Neighbors.
I love all colors, especially together with white; some rooms in my house are warm and some are cool; same thing with projects. I live a mile and a half from Fenway Park in Boston, Mass, !
Southern California where I live, is always warm and sunny, sometimes too sunny. So working with nice cool colors is soothing to my quilting soul. I do love the warm colors too and wouldn't be a happy camper if I was restricted to one palette. Love Good Neighbors!
I have loved seeing the prints appear too! My favorite color way is definitely cool and I'm from CO. It's so much fun to see all of your scrappy projects! Thanks :)
I usually love cooler colors, I have mostly greens and blues in my stash!
I live in Texas, and I tend to buy cool colors for my projects. Maybe it helps me feel cooler during our long, hot summers!
Congratulations on the one year anniversary of your Good Neighbors fabric line. I love the playfulness of these fabrics. I would say I tend towards cool fabrics since I can't seem to get enough grays, but love the pops of orange and yellow that make my turquoise/grey quilts sing. Or just the opposite. Would love to work with your good neighbors prints.
Your fabric is beautiful! It will make a pretty quilt. I love to make a memento of my quilts that I give away usually in pincushion form :) Thanks for the inspiration.
I love to work with warm colors in my quilts. I haven't worked with this fabric, but it looks like an amazing fabric line.
definitely cool except when making quilts for the grand kids - they want it to look like candy colors.
Hi! Your blog is my favorite! I like cool colors--blues and greens are my favorites. I haven't used your good neighbors fabric yet, but I have been wanting to, so I am glad it is still available. I am in Ohio.
I like cool neutral colors wth a bright here or there.
I am from Northern California.
Love the warm colors but only slightly more than the cool colors. ;-)
I used one of your prints (I forget the name, but gray, blue and green tiny stripey looking print) as a backing and it is lovely. USed the scraps of it for a cozy for a french press coffee pot. It is a great line!!
I like warm colors and neutrals.
Fabric and colors make me smile :) I love all colors, I find the cool colors relaxing and remind me of one of my special places....the ocean, although the warm colors remind me of beautiful fall colors. I live in Louisville KY but try to visit the north east coast a couple of times a year. Since retiring, I enjoy having a great deal of time to quilt!
I just picked up one of these lovely prints from Connecting Threads. The little x's is my favorite! I have been using more of the cooler color ways lately. Maybe it has to do with the awful summer heat this year? Lol
Hi! I grew up in Massachusetts but now make my home in Northern Colorado. I am a fabric addict. I love it all! My mother and husband both believe I have a problem but each piece of fabric has its own personality, it is fun to see where it may lead me! Thanks for the opportunity to add to my passion! Pamela
I am mostly drawn to cool colors. Blue is my favorite. I live in suburban Kansas City. Thanks for the chance to win!
I'm a full spectrum gal and love organizing my stash in "ROY G BIV" order. I'm looking forward to retirement in the upcoming year and more time to play with textile "paints". Thank you for the inspiration!
I think I gravitate to warm colors more, but my favorite color is green! It also kind of depends on the project. And I live where...🎶🎶"the stars at night.........are big & bright......deep in the heart of Texas!"🎶🎶
Hi, I live on Hayling Island, Hampshire, England, I naturally gravitate towards cool colours I think partly because we are surrounded by water which I love! Love your fabrics, although I have never had the chance to use any (yet)! Off to California on holiday next week, planning on stocking up with fabric and other quilting goodies whilst I am there! Thanks for the opportunity to win some!
Love the fabric. I live in Victoria B.C Canada. I like all fabric and would be happy town anything. Love the colors on your page.
I love the colors you have in this collection. They are so lovely and offset the designs beautifully. Congrats!
I love bright and happy. Just like your good neighbor fabric line. :) here's hoping I can add some to my stash :)
It is usually a seasonal thing with me but do find myself, any time of the year, gravitating to Autumn colors of rich, dark hues such as dark pumpkin, deep greens, purple, dark gold, etc. I also love all vibrant jewel tones so naturally gravitate to batiks. But when Springtime is in the air, I love pastels! That is mostly for wool projects. I have only made one light colored quilt top with Springtime colors but have been gathering 1930's style fat quarters to someday make a bright, summer quilt. I guess I have just admitted I love all colors!
Living in Canada I tend to lean towards warmer colours......many of my quilts are flannel. I love love love your birch tree rug and your new line of fabric. Thanks for the opportunity!
Love the warm in the winter and the cool in the summer.
And I have purchased the Good Neighbors wide backing for a quilt top in my queue. It is perfect for the quilt.
As for colors, at my house, it depends on the season. Fall is coming, so the warm colors will change with the leaves. Then in Winter, the colors are cool. Good Neighbors is lovely in both temps!
Hi Amanda. I tend to like warm colors best, red being my favorite! Three red vehicles, red trim and a red roof on our home, and red in each room! Yup, warm colors! I live in New Hampshire where the warm fall colors will hopefully emerge soon-if our lack of rain does not dull them. Thanks for the opportunity to win a great bundle!
I love your fabric line. I used your wide backing fabric for several of my quilts...so bright and fresh. As for warm or cool colors, it depends on the project I am working on.
anndunn24(at)gmail.com
I would like to make a quilt from these beautiful fabrics...something fresh and modern. I like the cool colors best!
Wowee! 578 comments already! I definitely lean toward the warm color side but I truly love them all. The way colors play together is what fascinates me.
I love warm colours and love your blog. I am from Ireland and would be very happy to pay postage. Thank you
One of my next quilts is a citrus/low volume so I'll say warm, but they are both lovely!
distantsub at gmail dot com
My choice of cool vs warm colors depends on the project that I am doing and the season for which it is for. If I had to choose it would more than likely be cool colors; I am from Bowman, ND. I like to quilt smaller scale projects because I can see the end quicker - I am by no means good but I try
I'd choose warm colors. I'm from Illinois.
Depends on my mood, sometimes warm, sometimes cool, always lots of contrast in my choices of fabric. Live in Auburn Alabama, but have lived all over the US.
After many years, I'm getting into sewing again. I love the warm colors and would love to be included in the drawing. I live in Murphy, North Carolina.

Hello there, I'm a neighbour in BC. I Pulled Sunday Morning quilts off the shelf again a little while, and would love to make something with the material shown. Love the columns. Congratulations on your anniversary.
Jan @jancurrie2002@yahoo.ca
I used to be 'warm'... think orange drapes in the 70's but as I age, I seem to love the calmness of cool colours. I winter in Arizona and spend my other days in BC, Canada. Most of my quilting is for charity in both places that I live. Am just getting into this 'modern' quilting and love the clear colours and pretty fabrics.
Your fabric is gorgeous, but it hasn't been in my budget to buy new fabric for quite a while. I would love to win! I especially love cool colors!
Love the colors! Love reading your blog.
Becci
Hello from Mississauga, Ontario! I sway toward the warmer colour schemes when making my quilts. Thanks for the chance to win some beautiful fabric! anda wolk at g mail dot com
I love all the colors, especially fond of red & purple. I live in the east central part of Iowa about 25 miles from the Mississippi River.
I am from Utah. I love this beautiful fabric line! I tend to prefer cool colors :-)
I love this line and would be happy with any color way, but if I had to choose I'd go with warm.
Amanda,
I love brights - your fabric collection is wonderful. I would be totally inspired to make something FABULOUS. Fabric is everything to me when I want to take my quilting to the next level. Just finally feel confident to design my own quilts. I still use some patterns, with all the classes and techniques I have acquired - give me the strength to break away and do my own thing.
Thank you for being such a great blogger with continual inspiration. I love your blog.
Julie
I love this fabric and bought a fat quarter bundle when it first came out.....long gone now of course. Quilts went to Amsterdam and Australia.
I usually lean to warm colors but do like both color ways. I love your fabric and would be so honored to win. Ginger from Mn.
I'm drawn to the cool palette, with blue being my favorite color.
I have tended to be drawn to the cooler color palette, but am wanting to try more with warmer colors. The more I see all the beautiful fabric available now, the more I love it all! There is less and less colors that I avoid and I feel excited to work with nearly any shade of any color I can get my hands on. Thanks for the awesome giveaway opportunity!
I gravitate to more cool colors for my quilts. I suppose I want them to be lively and full of color for my friends who receive them. I love all your posts out here in California!
In deciding to choose between warm and cool colors I turn out to be a bit schiodfrenic / schitoidfranic ...I can not even spell it well enough for spell check to pick it up.
I lean towards cool colors, plus red! Here in rural Illinois, where green reigns supreme.
I tend to gravitate to blues, greens, and purples. Lately, I have been experimenting with warm colors. Love your fabric, and thanks for having a giveaway! :)
I love love cool colors, especially as fall has made it's way to Castle Rock, Colorado! Love your fabric line :-)
These are such wonderful fabrics! I love both colorways... in the past I think I gravitated toward warm colors but recently have loved the cool colors especially with a lot of white thrown in. I live in the Santa Barbara area and I think my next project is going to be beachy :)
I love the name of your fabric line. Good Neighbors. I have had some great neighbors over the years. I like the cool colors, but lately I have been leaning towards the blues. So, I would have to say that I am leaning towards the warm colors.
Warm colors or cool colors - your fabrics are so vibrant & charming- I'm from California.
I've been starting to work on art quilts to combine my love of painting & seeing!
What a great giveaway! I love this line. I like warm colors. I am originally from Los Angeles but am now a transplant to Salt Lake. I am using some of this line in a king size quilt for my bro and sis-in-law. I'm so excited for them to have it on their bed. Thanks!
I love rainbow colors, but my favorite colors are the cool colors -- blues, greens and grays. Your fabric is adorable! I'm from Virginia.
I tend to go for cool colors. Thanks for the chance to win some of your fabric.
I tend to like cool colours, but hell, I just love colour, period. annesimonot@sasktel.net
I personally love the warm colors, but let's be honest here - I have three boys, so most of what I make involves the cool colors. 😉
Your fabrics are lovely and I am sorry to say that I have not had the opportunity to make anything with them; as I am pretty new to your blog. I never know which colorway I am going to go towards. I am on a bright and cheery kick right now, yet all of the warm colors of Autumn are starting to show up and looking so beautiful. I made a tote, table topper, placemats and napkins all in fall colors this past week. I would love to win your gorgeous fabrics in either colorway though. Thank you for the opportunity and have a fantastic creative day!
I am leaning towards the cool colors these days. I am working on too much stuff. I just made personalized First Aid denim zippered box bags for my twin sons to take to college. They stuffed so much in each bag, I couldn't believe it all fit! The bags held up nicely, despite having to make one over because the zipper was stuck. I hate that! Now, I just started a string quilt with scraps because...well, I got started making block donations and couldn't stop. Now I have an entire quilt top and 3 extra squares for donation. If only there were more time in the day, perhaps I could complete some of my WIP's.
I always lean to the cool side in colors. I live in Daytona Beach, Florida where it is hot so I try to keep my surroundings cool and comfy.
