good neighbors fabric giveaway
It's been one year since my good neighbors fabric was released. That may be a silly thing to celebrate, but I, for one, am excited that it is still available in both yardage and pre-cuts. I have enjoyed seeing how others have used the fabric. I also enjoyed working it into all kinds of projects...from quilt backings to pincushions. To celebrate, I'm going to give away two bundles of good neighbors fabric...one in a warm colorway, one in a cool colorway. The giveaway is open to all. International entries are welcome with the stipulation that you will be willing to cover shipping costs, should you win a bundle. If you would like to throw your name into the hat, please leave me a comment in this post. In your comment, I would like to know if you tend to gravitate toward warm colors or cool colors when you are making projects and also where you are from. If you have made something with good neighbors fabric, I'd love to hear about that, too. :) I will pick a winner in a few days!
I love colour, probably more blues/greens/purples than others in my stash but this clearly needs remedying. I am having lots of fun making your Contact Print cushion for friends. I am also making my first quilt. Thank you for the chance of winning the fabric bundle. I am in the UK but would very happily pay shipping if I was the winner.
ReplyDeleteLove this fabric! I couldn't decide what I use more, I think I am pretty indecisive on what I like. We went with cooler colors in our living room but our bedroom is warmer. When I sew it just depends on who its for. I am from Minnesota but have found home in Colorado.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you - I love it when a fabric line is around for longer than a few months - nice to be able to buy some, play with the fabric, and go back for more for binding, backing or in different colourways!
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate towards cooler tones - I should probably challenge myself to get out of my comfort zone! I'm a UK quilter - thanks for the chance in this giveaway! It's wonderful to see you back blogging again :)
I love quilting with color! An excuse to use the bold, warm pinks, reds, and oranges I tend to stay away from for other things...like walls and clothing! Enjoying your blog in Tennessee.
ReplyDeletei love warm fabrics and i live in the N. West corner of Ga. love your fabric
ReplyDeleteI think I tend to use cool colors more often. I do know I am influenced by the seasons. I have almost used up all of my good neighbors fabrics on pillows, bindings and yes, pincushions! Always look forward to your posts here in Oregon ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! I love the cool tones in your collection.
ReplyDeleteThese are such beautiful fabrics! I tend toward cool colors, maybe because I live in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy our gray skies. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYour fabric is beautiful. I tend to use cool colours more than warm colours. I live in the Netherlands.
ReplyDeleteLove the patterns and colors! The warm colors are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI'm in Oklahoma.
I prefer cool colors - from Arkansas US and I love you blog :)
ReplyDeleteLove this beautiful line. I tend to gravitate toward the cooler tones in my quilts, but find that I am always changing things up. In between a few cooler tone quilts, I may make one with warmer colors. I love all fabric colors -- what can I say? I am from Connecticut and have been enjoying developing my own quilting style for the past 5 years. I enjoy your blog. Thanks for all that you put into it!
ReplyDeleteLove your fabric and I will be honest this is first time I have seen it...BEAUTIFUL!!! I am fairly new to quilting but I am hooked and have become creative in my thinking and design. I love all colors and would love an opportunity to create something amazing. I'm in North Carolina and we love color and fabrics so which ever group you would like to send me...I will love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI already have the fat quarter bundle, but could always use more Good Neighbors. Love your blog. Missed you while you were on break. Am thinking about a quilt using warm colors.
ReplyDeleteGreen is my very favorite color closely followed by pink, so I think I don't lean toward either...cool or warm... I just like it alllll! I'm from Alabama!
ReplyDeleteI use more cool colors and I'm from Iowa where it is very Hot right now.
ReplyDeleteI usually choose cool colors and I live near Pittsburgh, PA. I have seen your fabric in Connecting Threads and would like to put in an order, even though my husband thinks I have enough fabric!
ReplyDeleteI have been trying a fabric diet so I have not purchased any good neighbor fabric
ReplyDeleteI am from western Pennsylvania and usually go to the cooler fabrics but, I just started a pink and red quilt so maybe I will change my preferences
sharongalli(at)gmail(dot)com
I tend to use cooler colors. Thank you from Northern Kentucky!
ReplyDeleteWarm colors for sure! I'm from Mirabel, Quebec, Canada
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your Good Neighbors line, and I'm thrilled that they carry it at Connecting Threads, one of my favorite resources. Your fabrics are so usable and sweet! I tend toward cool colors when I quilt because I find them soothing, but my house is definitely decorated in warm colors, so I find uses for both. Right now, the cool tones are calling to me--must be the summer heat!
ReplyDeleteI love colors. I like all the colors in your line. I tend to go towards blues greens and pink
ReplyDeleteI am from New Mexico
ReplyDeleteCool colors for sure! I'm from NY
ReplyDeleteI have a tendency to use more cool colors. Beautiful fabrics. Thanks for the chance to win
ReplyDeleteI tend to lean towards warm colors. In the last couple of years I have found myself using more cool colors as well :-) Guess I like them all! I live in the sunshine state of Florida where we have just had four non-stop days of rain, thanks to Hermine.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! What a fun thing to be able to celebrate. I love this whole line! I really love the pinks and oranges. I use a variety of fabrics when quilting and sewing, probably because I'm still trying to decide what "my palette" is. That may take a lifetime, but I do see evolving trends. I live on the gulf coast in Alabama.
ReplyDeleteLove your fabric line, congrats on staying around longer. I think I might gravitate toward the warm colors. But I am leaning toward scrappier quilts lately to make a dent in my stash that I will never get all used. I would love a bundle if your fabrics to play with. Thanks so much for the very generous offer!
ReplyDeleteLike them all but will choose cool. The aqua and turquoise are sooooo beautiful. I'd make either quilts or some kind of bags or purses.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of your cute line of fabric but it looks so inviting! I love both color ways. I'm in Utah and would gladly cover shipping.
ReplyDeleteI tend towards cooler colors probably because I live in Los Angeles, where the sun is almost always shining and we won't have many cool days until November. It gets hard for a girl who grew up in Kansas and is used to seasons!
ReplyDeleteMy stash has more warm colors, but I would go for the cool tones. I would be glad to pay the extra shipping to Germany.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the whole line! I tend to be a cool color user, though stash is stash : ) Thanks from Denver
ReplyDeleteI use mostly cool colors. I like bright primary colors for baby quilts, not pastels. I do make an occasional modern quilt, and sometimes warmer colors.
ReplyDeletecork@pa.rr.com
I seem to go through warm and cool phases. Lately, perhaps because it's been so hot?, I've been relishing oranges and neighbouring shades. I love good neighbours because the prints are so versatile and happy - would love to win a bundle! I'm in Canada, and would be happy to pay any shipping. Thanks for such a wonderful blog ... missed you but everyone needs a break to recharge...
ReplyDeleteI am a Georgia girl who loves all the colors. I seem to be gravitating towards warmer colors in my latest projects. Thanks for the give away. How fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the cool colors! I bought a fat quarter bundle from Connecting Threads last winter. So far, I've incorporated several of the patterns into my daughter's quilt - half square triangles, all of which are one half a rich eggplant, and then the rest a patchwork of mixed pink/orange/aqua patterns.
ReplyDeleteI like warm colors. I've used Good Neighbors in a scrappy landscape that includes all colors.
ReplyDeleteI've already won a bundle of this gorgeous fabric from you! I just wanted to share how lovely it is in person. I've been admiring it and trying to figure out which quilt pattern I want to use. Hopefully I'll settle soon and begin cutting into it!
ReplyDeleteI love both warm and cool colors. I think it depends on the project.
ReplyDeleteI love warm colors...This fabric is gorgeous what a great giveaway. I live in sunny Florida..originally from New Jersey but I have been in Florida 32 years! My mom says Im still a Jersey girl but left there when I was 21...Florida is warm maybe thats why I gravitate to warm colors..
ReplyDeleteThese fabrics are so cute and the colors are fabulous. I live in Montreal but if I am fortunate enough to win a bundle, I can supply a US shipping address. My head is swimming with ideas!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this line. I tend towards warm colors and I really liked the white fabric with all the flowers to use as a background. Everything went with it and added some movement and fun to a quilt I made. Thanks for the chance!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all colours both cool and warm. From my spelling of colour I am Canadian- from Stratford Ontario- the home town of Justin Bieber!
ReplyDeleteThese are perfect stash fabrics...I tend to gravitate toward the cools but love the warms too.
ReplyDeleteI've used mostly warm colors on quilts for my kids, though I'm making something for myself in blues and whites. Still, red (in almost any shade) remains my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate towards cooler colors, but I do love some warm colors!
ReplyDeleteI love both warm and cool colors! I am not a huge fan of just neutrals or pastels though I do mix a project in here and there to temper all the color overload. I love all the LV color in your collection. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteCool colour girl here especially the blues as they remind me of home. I miss the ocean. I'm from Alberta, Canada. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeletemy favorite color is orange so it always catches my eye. However I live on the Texas Gulf Coast and it is just HOT down here most of the time so when I sew I think I lean towards the cool side.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I love the shades of orange you chose to work with.
I love both and love them together - the whole rainbow for mw but if I HAVE to select my fav, it would be warm. Thank you for the chance to have some of your beautiful designs.
ReplyDeleteI love cooler colors. Red makes me shudder.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently working on a low volume quilt inspired by the one from Sunday Morning Quilts.
Living in Idaho and absolutely love it. :)
It's hard for me to decide which side I gravitate towards. Maybe that means I'm evenly distributed? I'm going to go with warmer colors, I guess! I live on the other side of the river from Cincinnati, and I love it!
ReplyDeleteThis California girl loves warm colors, generally, but also cool colors! All colors!
ReplyDeleteI go for cool tones mostly. Love the fabric! I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada
ReplyDeleteI love Good Neighbors fabric. It was a major element in two quilts that I made. Love the bright, clear colors.
ReplyDeleteHello! I love your neighbors fabric and can see why you would want to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Michigan. :)
I really like the cool colors. Blues are a big favorite of mine, which is handy, since I have 2 boys! haha.
I LOVE pink.. But they don't, so much. ;)
Have a wonderful day!
I like cool colors.....I'm from a town in Illinois called Minooka!
ReplyDeleteI go back and forth, but most recently I'm on a cool colors kick! I'm from San Francisco.
ReplyDeleteCT here, and I definitely trend towards cool colors.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back after your blog-free August :) I lean towards cool colours. I'm from London Ontario Canada (between Windsor/Detroit and Toronto). My sister lives in Ohio, so if I was lucky enough to win, I would have the package sent to her place. Thanks again for your inspiring blog!
ReplyDeleteWarm colors are my go to, just love them. They lift my spirit.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this fabric! I gravitate towards warmer colors - but I just love color. A lot of my quilts just use a LOT of color, all mixed together. It makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteI am all about warm colors! They just make me happy. :) I've lived all over the US, but right now, I'm in PA.
ReplyDeleteHi, Amanda Jean! I gravitate towards cooler colors, especially any variety of teal or turquoise! I purchased Good Neighbors fat quarters and used one of the orange prints in a mini quilt for an injured cousin, and I have plans to use many of the white background prints in some Vintage Farm Girl blocks. I'm from College Station, Texas, home of the Fightin' Texas Aggies! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I gravitate towards warm colors, so I have to consciously go out of my way for blues and greens. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm in California.
I live in Fort Collins and I am all about the cool colors.
ReplyDeleteCool colors for me - I have been stashing away gray prints for a predominantly grey Bear Paw quilt with floral color accents.
ReplyDeleteThank you for having such a nice giveaway!

ReplyDeleteI go back and forth between cool and warm. Right now I'm liking cool colors. I am from NW Arkansas.
ReplyDeleteShelia stitchedfromtheheart@yahoo.com
Is it possible to really like cool colors best, right up until you see a really stunning pink that you must have?! I hail from the Rocky Mountain West and am glad to hear this fun group of fabrics is still available. I kinda thought I had missed the boat.
ReplyDeletebolderbaker.at.gmail.dot.com
I love warm colors! All your colors ate great! I'm a Indiana girl and I have not yet had the privilege of working with any of your fabric. Looking forward to the chance, so many possibilities!
ReplyDeleteA great reason to celebrate. Cool colors! Love your fabric. Born in Eastern Idaho, live in Western Idaho! Thanks, Amanda Jean
ReplyDeleteI love all colors but when pinned down, I'd have to say warm colors! I live in Bellingham, Washington.
ReplyDeleteI'm from VA. I like warm and cold colors both, as long as they are bright. I have a hard time with browns, blacks, whites and grays.
ReplyDeleteI guess I gravitate toward warm colors. I have both cool and warm fabrics. I have problems stitching black, browns, dark colors like that. Blame that on my slowly growing cateracs.
ReplyDeleteCool colors have been my go-to, but now my eyes are gravitating towards warm colors when window shopping for fabric, and also pinning finished quilts by others.
ReplyDeleteI have started working with more cool colors. Your fabric is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am a cool color girl. Your fabrics are lovely. I live in eastern Washington, the desert side of our state.
ReplyDeleteI tend to change it up- colour saturation is probably what draws me in first-but reds, orange, purple and blues always work for me. Thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI am in Canada and will gladly pay postage if I was lucky enough to win.
Love your blog
I have to go for cool colors with most of my projects.
ReplyDeleteI gravitate to warm, earthy colors.
ReplyDeleteHi Amanda Jean!!! I hail from Edinburgh in bonnie Scotland. Love your blog, it's one of my favourites! I'm glad you take a blog break every now and then to recharge, I don't know how you fit in all that you do!! I steer towards the warmer colours instinctively in my scrappy quilting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!! Fiona, xxxx
I love warm colours. I'm from Ontario, Canada. Thank you for the generous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love your fabric line - the prints just seem so "usable" and result in a beautiful colorway. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteRandomly browsing the internet often shows unknown ( to me) gorgeous fabric lines...... Love yours!!!
ReplyDeleteI mostly use warm colours, but I hate ( sorry!) pink. So I would go for the cool palette.....
Greetings from the Netherlands!
I am from Maryland and an all about the cool colors but like warm colors too. It depends on my project
ReplyDeleteHi Amanda
ReplyDeleteI'm in Napa, CA where we have cool mornings and hot days. I use both colorways, depending on who I'm making the quilt for and what strikes me at the moment. I hope you continue with your fabric lines. Good Neighbors needs a potluck!
I forgot to give you my e-mail. woops
ReplyDeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteI love the warm colors but tend to use more cool colors. Color is color and it is all good to me!!
ReplyDeleteI am in Minnesota too. I could flop either way with warm or cool, I love all colors!!
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer cool colors. Currently I'm working on two quilts that are mostly red. So far out of my comfort zone but fun too
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your one year in stock! I definitely tend toward warm colors. However, I have been really trying to work with more blues lately. I'm mostly happy with what I've made in cool colors. I'm from Des Moines, IA. sjvonfumetti at yahoo dot com
ReplyDeleteI usually use cool colors! I am from Newfoundland but living in New Brunswick.
ReplyDeleteI have been drawn to warm/hot colors. Could that be because I am in southern CAlifornia? You were missed in August. Thanks for the fun opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI like the cools - especially the turquoises and limey greens!
ReplyDeleteI love all sorts of colors in all sorts of combinations. If I had to pick, it would be warm colors. I'm a lifelong resident of central California.

ReplyDeleteI'm more to cool colors.. love the bundles :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Malaysia.
The fabrics are sooo pretty. Thank you for the chance to win them. I love the warmer colors, but it actually depends on what I am working on as to what colors I am using. I am from the N.E. section of Georgia,USA.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, good neighbors fabric still available! I'm a Kiwi (from New Zealand) and tend to quilt in warm colours.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I love color and tend use all the colors and scraps :) I am currently using Good Neighbors to make twin size quilt for my daughter. I am from Virginia.
ReplyDeleteI'm from upstate NY. I love cools, but my children like earns...
ReplyDeleteI have more warm colors, which means I need more cool colors. I tend not to have much blue at all. Teal, yes, but not blue. Blue seems boring to me. But it does have a place, and I need to have some. I used a Good Neighbors charm pack to make circles for my 365 circles quilt.
ReplyDeleteI like reds. I guess that's a warm colour. I'm from Canada, thus the spelling of colour.
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful the fabrics are. I totally agree with you celebrating, it is important that fabrics stay available for longer than a few months, I am a huge procrastinator and then I find it so difficult to find more fabric to finish a project. I do tend to like blues and greens but the warm colours in your bundle are very attractive. I live in Australia, where we are making a transition from summer to a warm spring... I miss winter already.
ReplyDeleteHello for central Missouri! I cannot decide which I like better, cool or warm, I guess I like both! I have a couple pieces of your fabrics I've been hoarding. So far I've only used one of the gray prints in a pillow I made for my granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteI tend to use more cool colors than warm
ReplyDeleteCool colors! Thanks Amanda!!
ReplyDeleteHi this is Laurie from San Diego, California. I seem to go back and forth from warm to cool but right now cool is in the lead. I love, love, love this line and just recently made a lovely triangle baby quilt with some your oranges, yellows and pinks along with some other lines and used the little print with the x's as my light to balance it out and it was so cute, many compliments from the ladies at the shower and mommy - it is a perfect complement to the bold colors ... just enough color. Thanks for the opportunity to play! Would totally make good use of your awesome line.
ReplyDeleteI'm attracted to cool probably because I live in rather warm texas and need relief where I can find it.
ReplyDeleteHi there, I'm in North Queensland, Australia, and if I were lucky enough to win, I'd happily pay shipping costs. Normally, my stash leans heavily towards the cool colour set, which means I'm always short of the warm colours, so please may I ask for the warm set?
ReplyDeleteI lean slightly towards cool when sewing, though I favor a warm plummy purple in general. Chiming in from the Boston area.
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate to warm colors, although I've been using a lot of blue lately. Red, yellow and orange are usually my go-to colors. Thanks for the chance!

Cheers from Anne
I totally gravitate to the cooler colors, but enjoy the punch it adds when you put a warm one in there as well. Brights on lights really get me :) Congrats on your fabulous fabric line and its success :D
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous fabric. I love the way cool toned fabric looks against white so I tend to do a lot of projects with that contrast. I live in little ol' Rhode Island.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I think warm vs cool depends on the project. Though I think warmer colours more often than not.
ReplyDeleteCool colors for this Seattle quilter ; )
ReplyDeleteI love warm colors but I always end up using more cool colors in my projects. I'm not really sure why that is. I live in Southeastern Connecticut.
ReplyDeleteI tend to go towards warm colours. I have very little blue in my stash, lots of green though and purple. I did buy a fq bundle of Good neighbors because it is so fabulous! I might have found the project to use it : http://www.happyquiltingmelissa.com/2016/08/top-spin-quilt-tutorial.html. Maybe...I'm from Quebec City, Canada.
ReplyDeleteI love cool colors and these beautiful fabrics! I live in Alabama and would use this fabric to sew a quilt for one of my little girls!
ReplyDeleteI have not yet found this fabric in my country, but admired it since you showed the first pictures. I am definately inclined to go for the cooler colors, but I search consiously for warmer clolors, to ensure I have a nice stash of all different colors. My very favorite fabric is the one with the colored 'v's, a very verstile fabric.
ReplyDeleteCongratilations on your fabrics anniversary!
Ilse
Warm & cool, but a preference for a green-blue-red trifecta, or some variation of that (insert aqua or pink where needed). I'd love to try out Good Neighbors fabric here in Upstate NY!

ReplyDeleteI tend to use cool colors more but I love the look of warm colors. Not sure why I'm not brave enough to buy them more often! I'm in sunny South Florida.
ReplyDeleteI love your Good Neighbors fabric line! I bought a bunch of the fat quarters last September to celebrate my retirement from teaching, and I just finished the quilt top I had planned, using the turquoise, green, and pink prints that I got along with some Connecting Threads gray for the background. I love it! I live in Colorado, and I love the warm tones! Thanks for such a nice giveaway!
ReplyDeletebright warm colors - orange is my favorite - are what I like working with, but any color would do. I make a lot of baby and toddler quilts and like to keep them vibrant
ReplyDeleteI gravitate toward warm colors and would love to win some of your fabric!
ReplyDeleteI usually gravitate to warm colours. But I do you both. I'm from Kingston, Ontario Canada. I love your scrappy style. All my quilts and projects are scrappy. That's totally my style.
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate towards warm colours. I think I need to expand my horizons and try cooler colours. All of my quilts are starting to look the same. I am a resident of Canada. eliz.i@sympatico.ca
ReplyDeleteI love brights so I think that means that I end up sewing with more cool colors than warm ones. That's why I read your blog - I love the colors you use!! I live in Langley, British Columbia, Canada where the lush greens of the rain forest and refreshing blues of the ocean are always near!!
ReplyDeleteI love a natural color palette and thus greens and blues! I love how well beautifully all your good neighbor fabrics pop next to each other :-) I'm from north Texas.
ReplyDeleteLove those warm colors, especially here in Poughkeepsie, new york!
ReplyDeleteI love cool colors, and I love giveaways!!!

ReplyDeleteLove my warm colors but admit to having a wide variety in my stash. I enjoy making I Spy quilts as gifts. Have a great week from a friend in Western Maryland!
ReplyDeleteI personally enjoy warm colors but as the 2016 palette is more cool than ever (all those grey tones) I find that my eye had been adapting. I just did a kitchen/family room renovation and worked hard to keep a blend of both present in the rooms.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely warm colors. Thanks for a lovely giveaway
ReplyDeleteHappy fabric anniversary! I tend to gravitate towards cooler colors, but I love a pop of warmth too! :)
ReplyDeleteI like warm colors when I'm sad and then quiet blues when I need calming down. I guess I like them all....Lovely line.
ReplyDeleteWow! That is a tough question! I want to say cool but I have several quilts that are warm too. I honestly don't know but probably cool.
ReplyDeleteI love when a line of fabric is available for a long time! I love warm and cool but for myself I usually edge towards cool! I would love to make a happy warm quilt for my daughter - I live in Michigan! thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing the giveaway! I definitely gravitate toward cool colors, but doing a warm color project is something I should try to mix it up. I'm from Chicago.
ReplyDeleteI prefer warm colours, but make a lot of quilts, wall hangings etc. for others and if their choice is cool colors, I go with that. Originally from the great state of MIchigan I've moved around a lot but presently call Florida home.
ReplyDeleteI've been doing lots of rainbow-y projects lately, but when I buy fabric I lean more toward blues and greens. I could definitely use more warm colors in my stash!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the continual inspiration. Never say never I say. Warm one month and cool the next. Current favourites are oranges and greys. A quilter's prerogative is to change her mind. Happy to pay postage to Melbourne, Australia.
ReplyDeleteI have never thought about it...I guess it depends who gets the quilt! Cool colors for the boys and warm colors for the girls. I guess I am kind of old school...
ReplyDeleteWould love some cool colours as mine are depleted after many boy quilts. Greetings from Melbourne Australia

ReplyDeleteHi, I'm from Stillwater, Minnesota. I probably gravitate to cooler colors but I use both. I bought a charm pack of Good Neighbors and have made them into half square triangles for a large pillow cover. I still need to finish it though! Thanks for a great give away. Love your fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI love those cool colors, and I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteBarbara from Ipswich, Mass.
I tend to go for warm colours. I haven't made anything from your fabric line yet, but I do have a couple of pre-cuts currently being shipped to me! I'm in Newfoundland, Canada
ReplyDeleteI'm a cool colors person. Must be because I'm from Pennsylvania.
ReplyDeleteI love cool colors. I think include blue in every quilt I make.
ReplyDeleteI just like fabric and color. Live in Wyoming.
ReplyDeleteI love all the colors! I used the wideback for my Framed quilt and I used the orange in the piecing. It's such cute fabric. I have some of the turquoise to use in another project, too. We recently moved to Delaware from Wisconsin, after a stopover in Pennsylvania. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAmanda, when this came out I bought a bundle and have it all sewn into hst with white. My plan was a sampler but so far it's just a box of squares... we'll see how it goes. I'm up here in Winnipeg, just a bit of a drive from you, I think. And I always lean toward cooler colours, mostly blues.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you back after your August break!
ReplyDeleteI tend towards the cool colors (perhaps because they look better on me for clothing). I DO love your bright warm color quilts though. Some day I'll stretch myself!
Live in the Mid-Hudon Valley of NY state.
I live in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. I like all the colours in your fabric line ...my stash is always in need of warm fabrics so I guess that is what I would pick. 😄 I have just finished a quilt and have another one in line to quilt before our guild show in the fall. I am also making a fancy forest baby quilt at the moment. Thanks for your weekly link up! Always fun to see what everyone is up to!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading your blog. I'm attracted to bright colors.
ReplyDeleteI'm most often drawn to warm colors, so my stash desperately needs an infusion of cool colors.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great thing to celebrate - congratulations on still going so strong with these gorgeous fabrics. I use both warm and cool colours - depends on what I'm sewing and who I'm sewing for. Particularly love the turquoise fabrics in this line. I live in Toronto, Canada.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure which I love more...the warm or cool colors...since I have a good variety of both in my stash. If I look at what I wear (most of which isn't quilted), I'd say I gravitate towards warm colors. Any color is a great color! I live and sew in Dubuque, Iowa which is right on the Mississippi River.
ReplyDeleteI live on Long Island in NY and I prefer warmer colors.
ReplyDeleteHi I'm fromPEI Canada and would dearly love to win a cool colors bundle. I would add it to the mix for my #100Days100Blocks challenge.
ReplyDeleteI would say that I'm equally drawn to warm and cool colors. I just looked in my closet and and it's almost equal. It may have something to do with being from the Midwest where we have all four seasons and the colors change constantly.
ReplyDeleteI like warmer colors but it does depend on the project. I'm from South Lake Tahoe, CA
