It's Monday! Doesn't it seem like a good day for a giveaway? How about a Liberty giveaway? That's even better!
My lovely friend, Anna, who carries Liberty in her on-line shop, is giving away one bundle of Liberty Tana Lawn fat eighths to one of my readers. This is a 10 piece bundle, each piece measures 9" x 13". If you would like your name thrown into the hat, please leave me a comment in this post. In your comment, I would love to hear what your favorite kind of pop/soda is. (I had my 12 year old son come up with the question this time. Can you tell? :) ) If you had any idea of what you would sew with this fine fabric if you win, I'd love to hear about that as well.
Please, only one comment per person! The giveaway is open to US and international readers!
Happy Monday to you!

«Oldest ‹Older 801 – 928 of 928Verners - have you ever heard of it? It's kind of a Michigan thing I think. Yum! I would love to make Mara something soft with that wonderful Liberty.
Pepsi is my favorite. I'd love to make a tote bag. The fabric is so pretty.

Ginger Ale, yummy
I'm a Diet Coke gal. (Lovely bundle - thanks for the chance!)
I'm not much of a soda person, but when I do drink it I prefer root beer.
I love Pepsi Max. It tastes better (more like regular) than Diet Pepsi. I would make a simple, elegant table runner with the Liberty fabrics. Thanks for the chance to win! mto2golsen (at) gmail (dot) com
I guess my favorite soda at the moment is Sprite. I would make a 4patch quilt with the fabric...
Diet Coke, probably way more than is necessary/healthy, but I can't seem to stop ;)
I really love Orange Crush! I think the fabric would make a beautiful skirt for my Granddaughter!
My favorite is Sprite Zero!
I would go for a Ginger Beer (its a soda/soft drink or softy, as we say in Australia) and I love appletiser (I think thats what it's called) - an apple soft drink.
I would love to make a quilt with these fabrics for one of my best friends who is about to have a baby.
TAB.... Reminds me of my childhood in Spain... If I won some luscious liberty I know a dear friends who would love a fanciful table runner.
Diet Pepsi is my first choice of pop always! I'll *accept* Diet Coke in restaurants when my favorite isn't available! Good question!
I love Coke! I have no idea what I would make...yet...
Diet Dr Pepper for me!
I love cool chrystal water 😍
Ginger ale is the one for me. I love it and root beer. Thanks for the chance to win.
akk_nana@yahoo.com
Diet Pepsi with one 1/4 of it being full strength Pepsi. Fountain soda is better with about 1/3 full with ice. All in my thermal cup for lasting cold!
Pretty nerdy, right?
My favorite is Canfields Diet Chocolate Fudge Soda, which I haven't seen since the 80's!!! Oh well. Anyway. If I were the recipient of your fabulous giveaway, I would make a glorious pillow with all of that dreamy fabric!
Dr Pepper was my favorite when I drank soda. Now the only thing I drink is water. No juices, alcohol or coffee, etc. Just water. Saves a lot of money...at the grocery store and the dentist!
On the very rare times when I have soda I like Pepsi with lots of lime juice and plenty of rum. As for the pretty fabrics, I would add them to my Fabric Petting Zoo for a while, until I decided I could bear to cut them up!
Canada Dry Ginger Ale is my favorite soda!
nikilsend(at)outlook(dot)com
It has to be coca cola. I have been slowly collecting pieces of tana lawn with the intention of making an EPP quilt with them...hexagons or diamonds, I am undecided as of yet.
Root beer! In a root beer float!
Diet coke with a lime. ;)
I love coke! And I love those fabrics too :P
I like cherry coke the best...thanks for hosting.
A Vernors once in awhile is a nice treat...with lots of ice!
I love Liberty fabrics and would make a spools quilt with them, showcase each fabric!
What a fabulous giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win! Love Liberty!!
Sandy V.
My favourite soda or soft drink as we call it is Dry Ginger Ale, tastes good with or without scotch.
This bundle of liberty would be the start of a collection with which I would make Anna Maria Horner's feathers quilt for my sisters 60th birthday.
Thanks for the giveaway and thanks for including internationals
Well, it's been a long time, but my favorite is Orange Crush! The fabrics are beautiful, I think I would be tempted to make a skirt or shirt with them...
My go to soda type drink is La Croix Pampelmousse which is just grapefruit fizzy water. For real pop, which is rare, I go for an RC cola which was the first pop I ever had and still my fave. Thanks for the fun!
I love Coke! But I really love Liberty! :)
10-2-4 Dr. Pepper I love that you had your son pick the question!
I'm participating in a 30 day no-sugar challenge so my favorite "soda" right now is sparkling water with lime AND lemon, because I'm crazy like that.
What a generous giveaway. I like cloudy Lemonade. My daughter makes her own and it's lovely.
I would probably combine this with a polka dot fabric and make a baby quilt I have had in mind for ages.

Awesome giveaway! I'm a Dr. Pepper fan for sure! If I can get it from Dublin, TX with real cane sugar - even better!!
I used to be a die-hard Diet Pepsi fan. But why? So now I'm trying really hard to stick with ice cold water - it refreshes so much better anyway!
Not a pop drinker ~ but I do drink a chai tea every day! The fabrics are gorgeous!
I enjoy ginger ale. a bit unusual but that's me. I recently came across a limited edition blackberry ginger ale that tastes so refreshing. I also love blackberry vanilla tea so there seems to be a trend there.
My favorite this time of year is Vernor's and A&W root beer--both for floats. :)
Although I quit drinking soft drinks several years ago my favorite used to be Diet Pepsi. Thanks for the chance to win such lovely fabric.
Joyecox@yahoo.com
I'M FROM GEORGIA AND IN THE SOUTH WE DON'T DRINK (POP/SODA) WE DRINK COKE. SO IF YOU WERE FROM GA YOU WOULD ASK: "WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE KIND OF COKE?" DIET DR PEPPER! THANKS FOR A CHANCE TO WIN SOME GREAT FABRIC
READINGTIRZAH@YAHOO.COM
I rarely drink soda, but when I crave one, it's either root beer or ramune (a Japanese soda I discovered via anime conventions).
My favorite pop is A&W Rootbeer. I am 50 and I have loved A&W since a child when our parents would take us to the local A&W Out door drive up for rootbeer. Ummm Good. I would love to make a tota bag with his fabric and some matching accessories.
I'm trying to drink just cold water now. My deceased father gave me his kidney stones so I need to stay away from any cola drinks. Carbonation doesn't help in the effort to stay away from developing stones. I so hate passing kidney stones!!! Having lived in China for a year, I'm delighted to have a glass of iced water.
As to the Liberty, I think I would just look at them for the longest time before I felt what they were for. The Muse would tell me...

What a yummy bundle! Thanks so much for the chance to win. I typically don't drink pop/soda, but when I do it's a toss up between root beer or ginger ale!
I rarely drink soda, but when I do my favorite would be root beer or creme soda. I love the Liberty of London fabric and would love a chance to win.
We don't do high fructose corn syrup or food coloring so normal soda is out. But I do love natural soda (with sugar)--like Hansen's or Izzie's soda. But my all time favorite is Reed's Extra Ginger Brew--nice and spicy and hot!!
Bundaberg Ginger Beer!!!
And for the lovely liberty... I'm slowly growing a little liberty stash and incubating a special quilt idea for my parents. My starting inspiration... the blue tiles in a big T pattern that mark the end of the lane in the swimming pool.
Hmmm, favorite soda? Probably Diet Coke....no, wait Diet Cherry Coke....unless you have Barq's Root Beer....or Gingerale....or Squirt. Oh, I may have a problem picking just one. I usually just drink water, so all soda is a treat, and I can't pick just one favorite treat! (kinda like fabric...they are all my favorite!)
Favorite pop is Coke Zero and if I win I'll add it to my stash for my new Jen Kingwell quilt..
Oh boy, I rarely drink soda but once in a rare while I'll have a Coke.
I've been dreaming of a Liberty sew together bag maybe mixed with some linen.

I am just getting started, ironing my fabrics, but haven't got much further due to other obligations. Still, I'm excited to do this quilt and am using more traditional fabrics. (That's what I have the most scraps of.) My favorite soda is actually none. I am allergic and thus cannot drink it. I hope "none" counts as an answer and still lets me get in on the fun fabric give-away. :)
I'm not much of a soda (pop, cola, coke, soft drink) drinker. But when I do I drink pepsi or Mt Dew!
Love Liberty ta a lawn, it is sooooo fine! I would make a beautiful table runner with background fabrics of grey or white to showcase the Liberty and really let it sing.
I require Diet Coke regularly! Love the stuff. Need at least one a day. Minimum!!
Love your blog, I've never commented before but I am an avid reader and fine you extremely inspiring and motivational. Thank you for all the hard work that must go into it, I can't even imagine how you do it all, Fiona, Edinburgh, Scotland, xxx
Definitely root beer for me!!
Definitely root beer for me!!
Definitely root beer for me!!
I'm a Diet Coke kinda gal. Those fabrics would go well with others I have collected for a quilt just for me!
I love Root Beer but do not often partake. If I won, I would have to hold it and pet it for a bit before I decided what to do with it.
I rarely drink soda, but when I do, it's a Coke. Full on-no Coke Zero, no Diet Coke, no Cherry Coke. Just a good old fashioned ice cold Coke. Or, as we say in the South, Co-Cola.
I love Pepsi. But if I had a 2nd choice it's the wonderful sasparillo my husband would bring home from one of his trips. You had to drink it icy cold and ohhhh how great a root beer it was.
Canada Dry ginger ale
I love to collect Liberty fabrics. Haven't done much with them yet, but it's good to collect, right?! Thanks, Anna and Amandajean. Anyway, I don't drink any flavored sodas. I'll sometimes drink seltzer or club soda, but usually just water!
I have always liked Dr. Brown's Cream soda, but I would drink a Coke just about any time. I love Liberty fabrics even better!
Root beer. Thanks for the giveaway!
7-up please. I am wanting to make a quilt with liberty fabric
Thanks for this giveaway!
I am totally a Dr.Pepper Girl!
I love Dr Pepper in the winter and Fanta Lemon Soda in the summer!!
I'm not a big soda drinker, but if pushed I'd go for Orangina, not sure whether that's one you'll get over there or not. And those fabrics are gorgeous, I have a growing pile of fabric I've been collecting to make a special quilt just for me and these would work so well in it.
I am not much of a soda pop drinker but I do love Gingerale now and again!! Fabulous giveaway... I don't have any Liberty fabric and I've heard soooo much about them😉
LOVE Fresca! It's very hard to find in the south!
Today is my birthday... Please pick me for the giveaway!
Diet Coke is usually my favorite but lately I'm drinking Fresca! I have a small liberty collection and I need to come up witha plan - but I am thinking of something with larger areas to show off those gorgeous prints....
I'm a Pepper! Wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too?
I'm a diet Coke gal. But, there's a regional soft drink, Cheerwine, which gives diet Coke a run for its money. Love the fabrics.
My soda choice is Pepsi. I would make a quillow using this fabric. Thank you for the chance.
I love checkmate!
Mmmm dandelion & burdock or sarsaparilla, either with ice on a hot day :) Thanks for a fab give away!
I don't drink soda much anymore. I occasionally have a teenie bit of root beer, A & W of course. These fabulous prints would make a great looking scrappy quilt. Thanks for sharing this giveaway. Good luck everyone.
Diet Pepsi has always been my go to pop. I think I'm hooked! Would love to win the beautiful Liberty fabrics. Thanks for the chance!
Root Beer is the only pop I will drink. :) Thanks for the fun giveaway!
I am a Diet Dr. Pepper fan. I would make a Fancy Fox quilt with these lovely prints!!!! Thanks!!
Virgil's Root Beer is tops. I'd make EPP hexies with the Liberty fabric.
I love mixing root beer dr pepper and cherry coke. So good!
I was raised a 'Pop" girl, and my favorite is a fountain mix of a little Diet Pepsi and the rest regular Pepsi from the gas station.
"Pick me!," waving hands wildly!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Very nice giveaway! Thanks. When I'm in the mood for 'pop' A&W Root Beer is my first choice.
I like an ice cold coke. Its my favorite soda. I would love to win that Liberty lawn. I hear its luxurious. Thanks for the chance. Ps will your son compile the answers and tell us the winner - coke or Pepsi? :)
I have heard a lot about Liberty fabrics but have never gotten to use any. LOL. I'd love to win this bundle just to see what the fuss is about if nothing else. I'm not sure what I'd make but I'd love to make something.LOL.
I live in South Louisiana so our favorite drink of choice is SWEET TEA. Home made sun tea is the very best! You put tea bags in a big ol pickle jar (washed out well of course) and set it in the sun all day. When you bring it in you add LOTS of sugar. The real sugar! No splenda or Sweet n low will do here! BEST sweet tea EVER! Add some lemon and a fresh sprig of mint if you want to get fancy!
cream soda!
Root bear is an all time favorite.
Fun question! Dr. Pepper is mine :)
My favorite soda pop is cream soda and milk..YUM! With the fabric i would make a baby quilt for a friend due in Nov.
Vanilla coke is my favorite. Yum!
Beautiful fabrics! Thank you.
I like a refreshing Ginger-Ale if I have pop. What a wonderful giveaway
tracinecharest at Gmail dot com
I don't drink much pop since I discovered coffee a couple years ago but have been known to sneak a sip of my husband's Root Beer occasionally.
Good question! Dr. Pepper is my favorite! And Liberty is my most coveted fabric! This is gorgeous, and I would use it for making cosmetic pouches. Thanks for the chance to win!
Root beer here, and it's nostalgia.
Thank you,
Julie @ Pink Doxies
I'm a root beer/Pepsiholic. I picked up some Liberty when we went to London a couple years ago, but I would love to add to my small stash...and these are lovely!
My favorite soda is Barq's root beer. I think it reminds me of the root beer kool-aid I used to drink as a child, which I was only allowed to get every other payday, so I save it for special days. My everyday "go-to" soda is diet Pepsi. I'd love to win some Liberty! Have had my eye on it for some time, I just can't seem to decide on colors/prints when I go to order it!!! I wish there was a LQS that carried it!!! Thank you for the opportunity! Bryce

Lol I never drink soda unless I'm sick. Then it's sprite. I drink an awful lot of black tea though!
What pretty fabrics....my favorite is root beer. Thanks for a chance to win.

I would say my favorite is ginger ale, if it's a good one. If I can't get a brand i like I'll go for root beer. For some reason I think ginger ale goes well with Liberty prints. Maybe it's just late on Friday, but it's working for me right now.
Ginger Ale. Hands down. Diet coke is a close second though. I would use these to make a baby quilt for a coworkers. I love how soft Liberty fabrics are.
I'm a root beer girl! I can't wait for your fabric to be released! I've been stalking Connecting Threads😄
I love A&W Root Beer. dawnm1993(at)gmail(dot)com
Dr. Pepper!
I'd use a simple pattern to highlight the florals:-)
I'm a Pepper--Dr. Pepper is all we have around here. Thanks for the chance to win. That fabric may fits in with a couple quilts I am currently planning.
oh, great giveaway ! I do love a Grape Nehi drink - to cut the sugar, I cut it with sparkling water - yummm !
Coke is my favorite. Thanks for an awesome giveaway!
I don't drink soda sorry but I love the Liberty fabric thanks for the giveaway!
These days it would be Diet Dr Pepper just a tad ahead of Diet Orange Sunkist.
Definitely cream soda...
Thanks for the give-away!
I'm addicted to cola zero but I'm not too picky which brand.
I actually never liked carbonated drinks ever. I didn't try soda at all until 3 years ago (I'm 31) because a youth pastor I worked with for many years used to tell the students that if they could get me to drink a soda, he'd give them $20. Kids always tried to trick me into drinking it, but never succeeded. When he left, I thought to honor him by having a sip of soda. I hated it. haha. I haven't had any since. I am a water and chocolate milk drinker only.
