It's Monday! Doesn't it seem like a good day for a giveaway? How about a Liberty giveaway? That's even better!
My lovely friend, Anna, who carries Liberty in her on-line shop, is giving away one bundle of Liberty Tana Lawn fat eighths to one of my readers. This is a 10 piece bundle, each piece measures 9" x 13". If you would like your name thrown into the hat, please leave me a comment in this post. In your comment, I would love to hear what your favorite kind of pop/soda is. (I had my 12 year old son come up with the question this time. Can you tell? :) ) If you had any idea of what you would sew with this fine fabric if you win, I'd love to hear about that as well.
Please, only one comment per person! The giveaway is open to US and international readers!
Happy Monday to you!
Ohoh, my favorite pop is Fitz's Rootbeer, brewed right here in St. Louis, MO. They have a little restaurant housed in an old bank building) with a viewing window so you can watch it being bottled. I never liked rootbeer until I tried theirs.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Liberty prints. When my daughter was little I made a couple of smocked dresses for her, and now I have a granddaughter who will have some too.
I love Pepsi! The fabrics are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty!! My favorite soda is birch beer or even better, cream soda.
ReplyDeleteSoda for me is what ever I make with my Soda Steam. Lemon lime or orgarge or Ginger ale are my most go to kinds. The fabric would go with some other fabric I got this summer to make a very colorful quilt with fence rail blocks or maybe friendship stars. Not sure yet but it will be very bright. Of course some of it might end up in my Scrap Vortex quilt that I just started for the quilt along.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a soft drink person but I don't mind a Seven Up at times.
ReplyDeleteI love Diet Coke, with a little bit of lemon (real lemon, not that fake stuff).
ReplyDeleteMy cousin is getting married in August & my mother and I are making them a table runner wirh matching place mats. I woyld use this bundle for that, for it's perfect for her tastes!
I LOVE Cherry Coke!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteRecently, I've mostly been drinking La Croix, and the peach pear is my current favorite.
Gotta love Diet Dr. Pepper! Or Fresca. Or Waist Watcher Citrus Frost- with Splenda. And these fabrics would be fabulous in a scrappy quilt!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!

I'm afraid I'm a diet coke addict
ReplyDeleteI've never had any Liberty fabric. I'm thinking a Cathedral window cushion. Very generous giveaway.
grape crush all the way !!!! haven't had a grape crush or any other kind of pop for years ...
ReplyDeletethat would be "soda" for all the non-Minnesotan's out there in blogland!
and the prints are pretty dreamy too -- I have to admit I'd be hoarding them.
I love... well, water! And your fabrics are beautiful! Would love to make a small quilt
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! My all time favorite soda is Coca-Cola. I've loved it since I was a kid, and I'm a pretty loyal fan of the original ;-) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite soda is ginger ale. Those fabrics are beautiful, and I think they would work very well into a big pillow project I have going on right now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance.
DIET COKE FOR LIFE!!! :D
ReplyDeleteI like ginger ale. Looking forward to the vortex QAL.
ReplyDeletessewing@comcast.net
I'm from Northeast Ohio so it's pop. My favorite is root beer. These would make a great mini quilt.
ReplyDeleteDr. Pepper is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteLove the bundle, the fabrics are gorgeous!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Liberty! I made a Liberty of London Stiles collection baby quilt that I used even the most minute scraps for the binding. I didn't waste a bit. Would love to replenish! Favorite soda is Saranac Root Beer.
ReplyDeleteMy all-time favorite gotta have it soda is Pepsi. My Mom and Aunt were known as the Pepsi Twins. We called it pop in Eau Claire, but here in Madison, it's called soda. Thanks for the opportunity! Great question!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure it would be considered soda pop but I drink Purdeys Rejuvenate Multivitamin Fruit drink and gorgeous is is indeed.
ReplyDeleteI've not a clue, as yet, what I would do with them but can say I would fondle and caress them on a regular basis until the right project comes along.
I don't drink soda all the time, but when I do I love coke!
ReplyDeleteDiet Coke fan here, although I should cut back on that! Would love to get my hands on some Liberty fabric, I hear it's amazing.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pop is half Coke mixed with half Root Beer. I know it sounds weird but tell him to try it. I would add the fabric to my soon to be started summer tulip quilt. The colors would work well with it.
ReplyDeleteBarq's rootbeer! and I'd make a baby quilt with lots of white to balance all of the beautiful colour! thanks for the chance cjcwatkins@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI am a Pepsi fan, with A & W root beer a close second. The fabrics are beautiful! Would use in my Dutch Treat blocks and the shoo fly block of my ohmygosh quilt.
ReplyDeleteI drink soda only when I go to the movies ... I've got to have a diet coke with my popcorn. :-)
ReplyDeleteHELLO, it's Coke!
ReplyDeleteThank You for your blog+sharing a neat giveaway!
msstitcher1214@gmail.com
Lemonade I made myself!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love liberty!
i don't drink soda very often...maybe once every few months i'll have a (mexican) coke or a root beer.
ReplyDeletei have a few other small pieces of liberty - would be nice to gather enough for a quilt!
I'm not much of a pop drinker but I used to love Welch's Grape Soda. I would use the fabric in a scrappy sew along I'm currently doing with a friend.
ReplyDeleteDiet Brown Cola, Pepsi or Coke, I don't care. Dull I know. Although when I can find Diet Barcs Rootbeer I'm in!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous fabrics! My favourite soda is Coke, not Pepsi ..... real old fashioned Coke. Yes, I know, way too much sugar but so good on a really hot hot hot summer day.
ReplyDeleteWow! Happy Monday indeed. My favourite is just plain sparkling mineral water. Very boring but I am not much of a soft drink person. Although I have to admit I like a coke if I am feeling a bit dusty.
ReplyDeleteI really like regular Coke but try not to drink it too often. Sometimes I just crave the caffeine and sugar and just give in and enjoy it! Love the Liberty fabrics. Don't know what I'd make but I sure would like to win the fabrics and find a wonderful pattern to showcase the beautiful fabrics.
ReplyDeleteDiet Coke is my brew! And I would love to make a dresden wall hanging with those lovely fabrics!
ReplyDeleteSadly I can't really drink fizzy drinks anymore due to my acid reflux, however if I'm feeling risky its diet coke all the way! And if I'm feeling really risky I slip some jack Daniels in there as well!
ReplyDeleteFrankie

Gorgeous selection of Liberty! My favorite is Sprite -- although if I'm in need of some afternoon caffeine, it's Diet Dr. Pepper!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pop is diet coke - grew up in Minnesota and everything was pop - never soda!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI love Liberty fabrics and have been making hexis for pincushions with my stash. I am not really a big pop drinker but I do like elderflower cordial.
ReplyDeleteI'm from the South (US), so around here, it's just all called coke! (As in, what kind of coke do you want?) that said, I LOVE a Cheerwine! Reminds me of being home in North Carolina!
ReplyDeleteGotta have my Diet Pepsi
ReplyDeleteA cup first thing in the morning gets me going.
Love the fabric
I like Sprecher Root Beer and I need some Liberty prints to finish up a summery scarf I started.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to give up soda (former diet Pepsi and diet Dr. Pepper lover), so am currently making seltzer with a Soda Stream then adding cranberry, pomegranate or orange juice to it. Those are beautiful fat eighths--would love to make a lap quilt with those!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE Vanilla Coke! Thanks for having this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteCream soda and Diet Rite! Love the Liberty prints. I'd make some doll clothes.
ReplyDeleteI stopped drinking soda for my health. It's water all the way now!I
ReplyDeleteStrangely enough I have never been able to drink anything fizzy! At your sons age I did drink tons of orange juice tho. Thank you for a wonderful giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI do not often drink soda, but on a hot summers day a root beer float is nice! thanks!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty fabrics. Making me think of summer, hope it will warm up soon! I love Elderflower Presse and have it for a treat☺
ReplyDeleteI don't drink much pop, unless it's a rootbeer float in the middle of summer! :-)
ReplyDeleteJust water please - thank you ;)
ReplyDeleteWould you believe I don't drink any soda at all and never have? Because yes, I'm weird. But those fabrics are beautiful and I have never owned any liberty and would love to make them part of a special quilt :)
ReplyDeleteFavourite soft drink would have to be Passiona, passionfruit flavoured. As for the Liberty fabric... I have a little paper bag with about a dozen pieces of 8x8 squares of Liberty and I am saving them up to make a quilt for my friends daughter.
ReplyDeletethank you for the chance to win this lovely bundle of fabric.
When I was 12, my favorite soda was a tie between root beer and cream soda. As an adult, I rarely drink soda, but if I do it's usually sprite zero.
ReplyDeleteIf I won the fabrics, I'd like to make some little zip pouches for my 11 year old - a girl can never have too many little zip pouches for all those special items!
My favorite flavor of "coke" as we call all soda in the south is Dr Pepper. I especially like the new Dr Pepper Ten diet version. It's the only diet soda I'll drink.
ReplyDeleteBeing form the south, Diet Coke. But I gave it up (boo hoo), and now I drink San Pellegrino Arranciato Rosso on occasion.
ReplyDeleteThe Liberty fabrics are lovely!
We call it 'fizzy' here at the bottom of the world (New Zealand). My favourite is a local called L&P (lemon and Paeroa) It originated in a little town called Paeroa and was originally made with carbonated mineral water from a natural spring (but is now made by Coca Cola).
ReplyDeleteI would do some EPP with the liberty fabric
Favorite pop is either Sprite or 7up....
ReplyDeleteI like good old fashioned Coke, although I only drink one a year. I have no idea what I'd use the liberty for--maybe I'd just pet them and drool over them for a year or two before I figured it out?
ReplyDeleteFabrics are lovely! and my favorite pop soda is Sprite! also iced tea but that's not really soda!
ReplyDeleteI have two favourites, ginger beer, and an Australian classic called "Passiona" which is passionfruit flavoured and SOOOO sweet. Lovely fabrics, I am making a quilt for my god daughter and these would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteSeaman's Lime Rickey brewed in Atlantic Canada. When I can't have that diet A and W root beer.
ReplyDeleteLovely fabrics! My favourite pop is A&W Rootbeer.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Dr. Pepper, although recently I found a special mix at a local soda bar which is called a woot woot! It has Dr. Pepper, raspberry, vanilla creamer and fresh lime. Now I don't ever want plain soda again- just a woot woot. (Plus when you order, they shout "can I get a woot, woot?!" and it's fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
I occasionally treat myself to a coke. I have a quilt mini pattern that would suit that fabric perfectly.
ReplyDeleteGinger ale or Sprite/7up are my favourites. And with the lovely fabric I would make a lap quilt for my mother
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric. Dr. Pepper is my favorite soda.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this -- I have visited the London of Liberty store, and regret that I didn't buy anything that day. Unfortunately, my favorite pop is a Diet Coke - one a day! I've been thinking about making another quilt from my book, "Traditional Two Block Quilts" book called Retro Rockets. These fabrics would be perfect. Sally
ReplyDeleteI live in the UK and I love IRN BRU (Iron Brew -the old tv ads used to say 'made in Scotland, from girders').
ReplyDeleteHowever, when we visit the US our first drink has to be Dr Pepper, it tastes so much better there than at home.
I love fizzy water with no added flavours. I use my Soda Stream to fizz my own water and drink it each night with dinner. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI love cherry coke! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a soda drinker but if I had to have one it would be a diet Coke. I have been wanting to make a scrappy (made fabric) 8 pointed star using Edyta Sitars method. Wouldn't these fabrics be fabulous?
ReplyDeleteHands down, my favorite kind of pop (yes, it's pop - I'm from Iowa!) is Diet Coke. Specifically, Diet Coke from the fountain. A close second is cream soda.
ReplyDeleteI think this fabric would be super cute for little gift bags or a fun little baby/doll quilt.
Great question today!
I rarely drink soda anymore, but when I do, it's always good ol' Classic Coke.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and so kind of you! For every day drinking I love coke but for special occasions I love red cream soda lol. And I would love to learn to EPP and use these gorgeous fabrics for hexies. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteDiet coke is the only soda/pop I will drink. (In fact, where I'm from - Alabama - we call it coke - even if its a pepsi! But mostly I just have water (with lots of lemon). Lovely fabric! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeletePepsi....from the fountain, not a can or bottle!
ReplyDeleteOooooh, such a LOVELY giveaway ! THANKS for giving us a chance .
ReplyDeleteI've never had those cute Liberty fabrics in hand, and I certainly admire them very much...
I love Coca-Cola Light Lemon :))
In case I'd be the very Lucky winner, I'd certainy make a lovely quilted bag, out of them, so that I'd bring it everywhere I go.
Gratefully,
NADINE
(Belgium)
Okay, depends on the mood and what I'm eating.
ReplyDeleteCola is Royal Crown or RC
Ginger Ale has to be Canada Dry
Root Beer is IBC or Sioux City, national brand is A&W
Fruit flavors is NeHi grape, orange or strawberry
Fruit punch is Cragmont or Tiki from Shasta.
Cream Soda is IBC or Sioux City and if you haven't tried Sioux City's Sarsaparilla, Oh My!
With all that said, I really don't drink that much pop. It's a real treat these days.
It's pop here in the UK and I'm a Diet Coke addict 😞
ReplyDeleteOnly Diet Coke! I'd do a project with EPP with this fabric - so pretty! peks1001(at)yahoo(com)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pop is Canada Dry Ginger Ale.
ReplyDeleteIt's Bionade - a German limonade.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!
Rike

ReplyDeleteI'm working on a scrappy colour/neutral star quilt riffing on a Sarah Fielke pattern so those pretty pretty fabrics will have a spot in that quilt for sure.
Happy Monday indeed!

ReplyDeleteMt Dew! Thanks for the chance. I'd want to make a wallet
ReplyDeleteLove Fresca! :) thanks for a chance to win
ReplyDeleteCoke. It used to be Squirt (do u remember that? I'm not sure they make that anymore) and Sunkist Lemonade when I was younger. I would make something pretty for myself. Maybe a nice lap quilt with some linen or voile.
ReplyDeleteI love using LIberty for my daughter's clothes because I get to appreciate it and her cuteness at the same time :) I'm also planning three throw pillows and still haven't figured out what they'll be....Liberty would be pretty tempting!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite soda is McDonald's fountain soda - to me it is better than canned Coke (my second choice) and bottle Coke (my third). In the summertime it's my guilty pleasure!
I love Sprecher's Root Beer!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I go to Costco I get a fountain diet pepsi with a sploosh of lemonade. I think it is the crushed ice logs that make it so wonderful. Otherwise I like almond Italian cream sodas for something Very Fancy and just plain ol' sparkling water.
ReplyDeleteI would totally hoard the blue pieces for a blue-and-white quilt I'm plotting for my living room, and use the brighter pieces to make some stylin' clothes for some of my favorite toddlers.
I love to drink Sanpellegrino Limonata on a hot summer day - lemon flavour and not too sweet. What beatiful fabrics. Not sure what I would make until I hold them for a while. Thanks for the chance to dream!
ReplyDeleteDiet Coke all the way!
ReplyDeleteOrangina. Used to be diet coke but I kicked that habit (hopefully for good).
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I try not to eat sugar now a days, so my favorite pop is the Zevia brand that is sweetened with stevia. I love their root beer flavor.
ReplyDeleteHmm....if I won the giveaway I would probably make a new mini quilt.
Pepsi max. I think I'm addicted
ReplyDeleteGinger beer is my favourite soft drink, and if I were lucky enough to win the Liberty fabric bundle, I would be using the fabrics in the My Small World quilt that I am making, they would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteCanada Dry (I'm a Canadian gal) Ginger Ale...which is strange because I don't like ginger! I would make a light little summertime baby quilt with this pretty fabric.
ReplyDeleteDiet Coke, but Coke Zero is not bad. I'm working on a miniature quilt that could use some more fabrics in it.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Diet Coke girl (never Diet Pepsi!) but when it's available, I absolutely love Canfield Diet Fudge Soda - like drinking a brownie! I think I'd have to pet that beautiful Liberty bundle for a while before I figured out what to make with it....
ReplyDeleteI used to have a serious Diet Pepsi problem. But have switched to water now. :)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. My best favorite soda is Coca-Cola.
ReplyDeleteThere i nothing like and ice cold Coca Cola on a hot July day - and that's enough for me! There's also nothing like the feel of Liberty cotton - thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was Diet Cherry Pepsi. Its been 4 years since i have had any pop. Mostly drink water. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteHeide

ReplyDeleteNothing better than Coca Cola over ice! Thanks for a great giveaway.

ReplyDeleteDiet Coke does it for me!
ReplyDeleteI love Coke with lots of ice! Especially the formula from Mexico.

ReplyDeleteI love Pepsi and try not to limit myself to one a week though it's a struggle during the summer hot weather. Love the Liberty fabrics.
ReplyDeleteSoda water with a slice of lemon. No sugar for me, I'd get enough sweetness from those gorgeous fabrics :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the San Pellegrino pompelmo soda! Totally meets my grapefruit fix! And I'd probably make the quilt that was posted on Purl today :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite soda is a REALLY strong gingery ginger beer (not the alcoholic kind). I would love to see these liberties as a hexagon applique border on a summery skirt!
ReplyDeleteIt has to be Iron Bru as I am living in Scotland just now...
ReplyDeleteThx for this awesome giveaway, Amanda.
My favorite is just plain seltzer water because I can add any flavor to it or use it to add fizz to other drinks.
ReplyDeleteI'd choose mug root beer. But I only drink soda about three times a year. Water is really my favorite drink!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity!
Mine is cream soda but I can't drink too much as it is soooo super sweet! I'd make purses, purses and more purses - I'm on a purse-binge at the moment! Thanks so much for the chance, Mel
ReplyDeleteWhenever my stomach is upset, coke helps it feel better.
ReplyDeleteCream ale. Which I almost never drink.
ReplyDeleteAd if I won, I believe I'd make a very special napping throw quilt for my own self.

ReplyDeletePlease click on the delaineelliott above for my email link.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite pop is fresh lime soda on a hot day.
ReplyDeleteThese Liberty fabrics are gorgeous! A lovely friend gave me some Liberty Tana Lawn after my mum died, and I've been squirreling away bits of Liberty here and there to add to it to make a quilt. Something simple with linen sashing and lots of hand quilting.
My favorite pop is Coca Cola and my second favorite is grape Crush. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteYour blog is Moxie! And so are these Liberty prints!
I have loved Liberty prints forever!
A&W Root Beer is my little indulgence after a particularly difficult day with my little girl who is having her terrible twos at the moment. I'm doing an English paper pieced hexagons quilt right now, so a bundle of Liberty prints would be an amazing addition!
ReplyDeleteLove this Liberty bundle. I have been saving all my Liberty pieces to make a quilt. I have been collecting for about a year so this would be such a great addition to what I already have. ReplyDeleteThanks to both of you for this generous give away! We don't drink soda--most are too sugary for my taste. I do enjoy club soda with a lime, so maybe that will count. If I'm going to have lots of sugar I'd rather have a cinnamon roll!
