teal socks

Welcome to finish it up Friday!

This week I finished my 9th pair of socks to date! Do you know how hard it is to photograph socks alone on a gloomy day? It's not easy! After several failed attempts I popped out onto my front step and I had an acceptable photo in no time. Hurray for fall! :)
It's cool and blustery here, so these babies are going to get broken in (and covered in a whole lot of thread)...today!

Now it's your turn. Please link up your finishes. Thanks for joining me for finish it up Friday!

Your socks look fantastic! I have the bad habit of knitting one and then getting bored and moving on, but our slightly cooler weather and your beautiful pic make me want to dig out my bin of UFOs!

They look fabulous--such a pretty color. It's supposed to be 97 degrees here today. *sob*

Looks cozy! And thanks for the pineapple tutorial. I was just about to purchase a paper-pieced pattern, and now I don't have to...and I won't have to tear off all that paper! Oh, and has your giveaway closed? I can't post a comment. :)

beautiful socks. They look like something I imagine you would wear. I can see the threads now. Great to have cozy toes in the fall and winter.

Your socks are beautiful! I was in Minnesota this past weekend and socks were a must!

Your ninth pair of socks - that is very impressive! I chuckled to myself when I read that your socks would soon be covered in thread. It reminded me of something someone said. I can't remember it verbatim, but it was along the lines of "If you are going to get some thread on you while sewing, you may as well roll around on the floor and cover yourself in threads. It is much more impressive when you go and pick up the kids from school."

Suzanne said...

Nine pairs already! I hope you have cast on for the tenth by now. Enjoy the toasty toes.
