I did some power sewing yesterday (and this morning) and managed to finish up this quilt top! Yes, those are tire tracks in the snow. I took photos of it in the middle of my street. :)
Pattern: Nap Like An Egyptian from Sunday Morning Quilts
Block Size: 12" finished
Finished Size: 63 1/2" x 72"
Fabrics: RJR Solids (love them) and Anna Maria prints (I'm pretty sure she's a genius!)
I did a lot of pinning and held my breath a lot while sewing the blocks together. Some of the points turned out pretty fantastic.
Some of the points are what I'd classify as pretty good. I'm not sure where to draw the line at perfectionism....but that's nothing new. I'm actually excited to baste this one and quilt it up!
Now it's your turn. Please link up your finishes for the week. Thank you for joining me for finish it up Friday! Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day! xo

WOW! I am so impressed! Didn't you just start that one!? Looks fantastic!
I love the colors. The prints and solids work so well together!! Great balance.
You're fast. Love those triangles!
I love the colors in your quilt! Plus the triangles add a lot of pizazz!
Love this! So bright and cheery which is exactly what I need on yet another snowy day here :) And those points are quite impressive! Fantastic finish.
Amanda
great color and pattern combo!
Oh my gosh, you are so fast...power sewing indeed! This turned out fabulous! (points included)
Love the colors in this quilt, especially against the white snowy street!
Wow and wow on the points! Fantastic job!
The colors are amazing, I love the acid tones!
Great colors in that quilt! And some beautiful piecing...Looks pretty perfect to me!
I love that you put it in the middle of the street! The colours look so vibrant and the points are perfect!
I think your points are pretty darn good. I don't think I would rip them out either. Be happy. Who is going to notice? The quilt police? They don't exist.

I just love the colours you have used, just perfect for me!
I call it adding character! My quilts are LOADED with character! I'm told if you cant see it from 10 feet away don't sweat it! I LOVE the colours you chose!
Yum! I tend to like AMH's colors, but not necessarily her prints. This combination is a fabulous solution!
Love the combination of colourful solids and vibrant prints. A gorgeous top. Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours, Amanda Jean!
Love the color combination and the perfection! Hey, a street works fine for a back drop!
love your top
What a really fun combination of prints and solids! Well done!
Beautiful! I gotta get me a copy of that book one of these days!
I'd call those points awesome! We're always hardest on ourselves, but they look great! The entire quilt - pattern, colors - is lovely.
Beautiful colors! The triangles are so bright and cheery. And the points are definitely good enough!
Super cute quilt! And I love that you took a picture of it in the street. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm crazy with all the quilts I take outside to photograph. Maybe I'm not alone. ;)
I love your version of this. Now I want to think about doing one.
Love how this turned out. And can't get over how quickly you put this together. I'm feeling like an underachiever...;)
I LOVE this one! The colors are fabulous.
The colors looks so vibrant in the snow. I've got 60 degree triangles on my short list.
The colors and the design are FUN, FUN, FUN!
So so beautiful ..love the colors.
Beautiful colors choices and beautifully made.
I liked how you used the solids in this quilt.
Love it! So different from the ones I've made, but same technique. Best thing. PS Sorry about your machine.
It looks amazing to me! Thank You for sharing!
Really, really love this! The colors are delicious
Your points are amazing! Great quilt!
Mmm..MMMm....Those colors are luscious!
This one is on my to do list! I love your colour combinations.
I love it!
This is an awesome quilt! And crazy as it sounds, thank you for posting pictures of your not so perfect seams. It makes me feel better about mine not always matching perfectly. :)
I'm waiting for the ruler for this quilt to be delivered. I'm making it with some Violet Craft prints in aqua, coral, and grey for my daughter Kate. I love this pattern.
I think you have good sense in making design. Manything will give advantage for people who love clothes design like me.
if we do it from our hearth, everything in universe will make us better.
Thank you very much. Go on to make better our life.

Your quilt is amazing, I love the bright colors...it's very eye catching! Great job! You inspire me to try new things and step out of my quilting comfort zone.:)
Wow, I dig this quilt. Great job.
Wow! Love your quilt in all those bright colors and patterns ~ and I can only pray to get my points to match up as well as yours!! :)
Love this quilt. It is so bright and we all need a little of that right now. Personally, I'm tired of winter. Incredible job with the points.
What a great version of this quilt! I love the riot of color. And I agree... Anna Maria is probably a genius. :) Happy weekend!
I had fun imagining what your neighbors might have thought as you laid your bright quilt in the snowy street to take pictures. =) Love the way it turned out. Excellence is admirable, perfection is neurotic. =) You have excellence here.
LoL, thanks for posting your "not so good" point, it makes me feel better about myself. :) I don't know why, but just being reminded that I'm not the only one who is imperfect makes me calm down about the whole perfect thing.
For what it's worth, I'd keep it. If you can't notice it from a foot away without actively looking for it, it's good. That's my criteria.
It's going to be gorgeous, all quilted up. I can't wait to see it!
great quilt…what a neat design! it is different for you. (-:
I linked up my finished Marcelle Medallion, yahoo!
very nice, have not seen triangles done like this before,
LOVE the colors!
I have to admit it. I did not get it when I saw the pile of fabrics for your WIP. Wow, was I wrong. Beautiful quilt. My perfection paralysis strikes when I'm squaring up yardage before cutting. I never know when to stop. It's never so good that you can pull one thread off the whole side, but I never know what's good enough.
Pretty fabulous (aka pretty close to perfection on those points!)
I could not resist commenting. Well written! watch Venus Talk online
Love the pattern and the colors. Thanks for scaring.
Where can I find the patterns for the quilts?
