Fun! So do you hand bind every quilt?

Instead of sewing, I prepared for the cold weather by going to two different libraries last Saturday and checked out over 50 books. :)

I would think the cold weather is almost worth it if this is the productivity level ;-)!!! Great pictures of all three quilts and the cute pin cushion. I spy a nice seam ripper there as well!

I can't wait to see what you do with the Christmas tree quilt!

My fetus is zapping all of my afternoon energy lately, so no sewing for me. :(

Your works in progress are a lot more interesting than mine at the moment. (I'm working on a test passage... Hence the procrastination of blog reading.)

Stay warm.

I'm wild about the trees ! And I can hardly wait to see the bound Scrappy Trip !

Life has intervened and slowed down my 'trip' progress, but I WILL PERSEVERE !

I was just telling Rachel this week that your whirlygigs are a favorite of mine and here you go showcasing them again! xo

When you finish basting don't you think you've won the lottery?! Good job!

You're getting so much done! (...and that is a cute seam ripper...)

I'm so jealous. I'm painting my basement this week....office, family room, closets, hallway, and ceiling. So rather be sewing!

It's fun to actually SEE your work and talk to you each week.
I took my machine to the store to check on the settings and the noise related to free motion quilting. I have to go back when the quilt person is there.
I'm enjoying your class immensely!!

I can't think of anything better to do than work on pretty quilts and other sewing projects. I hope to make some progress on some myself this weekend. Can't wait to see yours completed too!

hi
wanted to ask a quick question about your free motion quilting. i've read that you use the thread from connecting threads. do you use this for piecing and/or fmq? also, what do you use in the bobbin? love to read your blog and see all your creative uses for scraps.

No, not bad at all and definitely a ton more than I got done.

You can never have too many pincushions. Or quilts.
