your little pincushion is so cute!I have a little bit of basting to do also! beautiful work!
Just love those Christmas trees :-)
Those Christmas trees are fantastic!!
That is a lot of basting!
You must own a lot of pins!
where did that awesome seam ripper come from?! I love it!
Fun! So do you hand bind every quilt?
Instead of sewing, I prepared for the cold weather by going to two different libraries last Saturday and checked out over 50 books. :)
there's my favorite quilt again! the Christmas trees!!! can't wait for the pattern!! Have you ever spray basted? whats your opinion on it????
I would think the cold weather is almost worth it if this is the productivity level ;-)!!! Great pictures of all three quilts and the cute pin cushion. I spy a nice seam ripper there as well!
I am quilting my swoon quilt right now and I have 2 more basted and in the queue. It is a lot of pins. Love those trees...
Love those trees!! You have been the busy one!! Way to start the new year!!! Hugs.....
I can't wait to see the pattern for the Christmas trees!!
You are busy, Amanda Jean! Love the colors in your quilts and that cute pincushion!
I can't wait to see what you do with the Christmas tree quilt! My fetus is zapping all of my afternoon energy lately, so no sewing for me. :(
Your works in progress are a lot more interesting than mine at the moment. (I'm working on a test passage... Hence the procrastination of blog reading.) Stay warm.
I'm wild about the trees ! And I can hardly wait to see the bound Scrappy Trip !Life has intervened and slowed down my 'trip' progress, but I WILL PERSEVERE !
Your sure have been busy!! Wow. Love your work.
Wow what progress! I love the Christmas trees, they remind me of washi tape.
Oooh - love your spotty binding!!
Lots of fun projects! Seeing all of your projects has incited me to pull out a couple of my own:) I love the polka dot binding. The color looks perfect with the quilt. Cant wait to see the finished project.
Can't wait to see the tree quilt. Congrats on getting so much done.
very very nice as usual!!I had bought your book and today I have received, it's SOOOO NIIIICEEEEE and wonderful!!congratulations
I was just telling Rachel this week that your whirlygigs are a favorite of mine and here you go showcasing them again! xo
When you finish basting don't you think you've won the lottery?! Good job!
You're getting so much done! (...and that is a cute seam ripper...) I'm so jealous. I'm painting my basement this week....office, family room, closets, hallway, and ceiling. So rather be sewing!
It's fun to actually SEE your work and talk to you each week. I took my machine to the store to check on the settings and the noise related to free motion quilting. I have to go back when the quilt person is there. I'm enjoying your class immensely!!
Loving the tree quilt. The color combination is so pretty. Can't wait to see it all finished.
Love those trees!! But they are ALL oh so cute!!
I can't think of anything better to do than work on pretty quilts and other sewing projects. I hope to make some progress on some myself this weekend. Can't wait to see yours completed too!
So much progress! Love the trees! I keep trying to finish WIP, but Tula Pink Salt Water is calling to me.
Christmas tree quilt yaaaay! I love it!
Love those trees! Doesn't it feel good to get the basting done?
hiwanted to ask a quick question about your free motion quilting. i've read that you use the thread from connecting threads. do you use this for piecing and/or fmq? also, what do you use in the bobbin? love to read your blog and see all your creative uses for scraps.
No, not bad at all and definitely a ton more than I got done.
You can never have too many pincushions. Or quilts.
