trees!

I finally finished my trees quilt top!!!!!!!!!
I'm pleased as punch!!!!
(Pattern is in progress.)
(And a proper new year's post coming soon, too!)

Love love love it. Can't wait for the tutorial! I am going to dive right in to this one. Also suggested it to our church - the young women are learning to sew, and I thought a block of this would make an awesome project - they could frame it when they are done!

It is gorgeous! Since I first saw the blocks, I have wanted to make these lovely trees... And I am a slow quilter- I don't commit to just anything like that! Even now in january I get exited by this quilt, it really seems inevitable...:)
I was tempted to give it a try without a pattern, but didn't have the time. Can't wait for the tutorial!!!

I could easily see some big chain store asking to use it in marketing for the Christmas season.
Something about it just makes you feel good!
