I can't wait to hop on the bandwagon! These scrappy trips are everywhere! Working on a quilt with a deadline but I'm hopping on as soon as this one is finished :) Yours looks great!!!Love the colors!
Beautiful Work! i too have jumped on this wagon. 2013 is the year I work from my unruly stash. To help I went to a Bonnie Hunter lecture this week She is an amazing inspiration. I love seeing how we can use the same patterns and each create a different beauty.
OH it's lovely! I'm seeing this quilt everywhere on blogland! I've been thinking of making it ~ think I'll have to get on the ride and take the trip (teehee).
Oh to find the time to jump on the bandwagon. I've got the tutorial printed. I've got an enormous fabric pull of pink-red-orange-purple from another quilt, so tossing in a few blues and greens shouldn't take long. But work MUST come first (I'm talking to myself now).
This is beautiful! Everything you are doing lately is making my fingers dance over the keyboard to tell you so! I am so tempted to join you but I have a wedding of daughter #2 to prepare for in June!
It is fascinating that I am reading so much about how "stash busting" is the quilters' 'sport'/goal of 2013! And this "stashbuster" is popping up everywhere.....love it!! Beautiful! Kudos.......
Love it! Thanks for sharing another wonderful blog too! I quite often use the strip piecing method (a quarter of round the world pattern) to make my baby quilts - see here - http://prettyflowersinthewindow.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/cute-and-cosy-flannel-baby-quilt.html. I hadn't thought of using scrap fabrics though. A great way to use those scrap strips! Have a good week. Maggie xx
Wow...such an exciting year...I know your home will sell soon...are you all moving to another state? job move? Thank you for a great year of good blogging and inspiration...I love it here...Happy New Year!
Oh gosh, I couldn't help but join too. I'm not sure I'm loving the colors I ended out using, but I was determined to use only stuff that I already had. Which isn't great anymore since I've picked through it for way too long. It's been really fun though. Yours looks fantastic.

I dug out some not so pretty FQ's and am getting started...
Your ruhbarb is beautiful as a scrappy trip, but I knew it would be!
I dunno if I DARE start another project??? But, this looks like FUN... and I could keep my eyes on stash I already own (vs. that of a quilt shop!).
ummmm, tempting!

wow, this looks amazing. I just love all the pretty colors you're using. Genius, as usual.
I've wanted to do this quilt for awhile. Your colors are great how big will you make it?
JaneB,
That's a tough call! I was thinking about going on the small side, like 48x60, but I like it so much so I might keep going. Not sure!
I love it! I might have to jump on the bandwagon too! I love your colors.
So fun. I am doing them too!
What wonderful colours - it looks fantastic!
I love the name Chopped Rhubarb! The Scrappy Trip Along was really hard to resist, but I love the results all over the bloggers world!
It's one very big bandwagon! Loving your blocks so far. This is making me realise which colours are rather absent from my stash!
Your colours are divine...I'm really resisting and trying to put some WIPs behind me.....awwww, my arm is being severely twisted!
Amanda Jean we would only be shocked if you didn't want to make a scrappy quilt. lol
1 I was surprised you didn't come up with this scrappy little number yourself!
2. You did it too! LOOKS FABULOUS!
Amanda Jean that is a beauty! I love the rhubarb color, almost like a field of strawberries. And it has a very vintage feel that's so charming.
lovely, lovely...
; )
I love scrappy quilts and yours is no exception, the colors are gorgeous!

Your color scheme looks yummy enough to eat.

So far I have resisted jumping on, but I have been enjoying seeing everyone's quilts. Yours is the prettiest one yet! Love the colors.

Seriously....this is so beautiful! I think you need to keep going until it's at least a Queen!
Love it!
I have to say that is a beauty. I'm jumping on the scrappy trip too after I finish another quilt. Love your Christmas trees by the way.

Yikes, everyone is on this bandwagon. Although it's gorgeous, it's not for me all those tiny squares!!
I finished up a quilt using all scraps in a new way than I expected. I felt like your kindred spirit. Hugs to you!
Yup, I've virtually decided to do this, but I haven't pulled fabrics yet. Love how yours is shaping up. Yummy.
Really love these colors. I'm searching my stash tonight!
Love the colors. It will be incredible. How you get so much done, I'll never know!
