I took my ticker tape concept and translated it onto canvas.
Not much to say about it besides the fact that I LOVE IT!
So, I made another. This one is in my chopped rhubarb color scheme. I really, really LOVE this one as well.
Each piece measures 11" x 14".
I'm gonna make more...just as soon as I can!
Another bonus, one more project checked off my small projects list.

OMG. I love this! Did you just glue the scraps down? Modge Podge? I need details!
How did you attach it/ construct it?
How fun.
Great idea! I have on my list to do a ticker tape quilt as a wall hanging, but this is a much better idea. Did you stretch the canvas over a frame to hang it? Actually, they look like they're not stitched. Glue maybe?
Love it! I'm going to ask the same question....glued or stitched?
Love this idea! I want to do something like this to decorate my craft room.
VERY cute! I love it too!
All I can say is WOW.
Pleeeease tell us how you did this. I am guessing modge podge, but I need to know!!!
I love them on canvas. What a great idea.
LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.
Be still my heart!
Yes, chopped rhubarb = beautiful!
i'm so copying you! fantastic idea!
Very fun!
Yes. Details pretty please. I have an empty spot in my craft room that's been waiting for the perfect piece of art. This might just be it!
To make these I started with store bought (pre-stretched) canvases. Then I used mod podge to glue the scraps on. It was quite fun!
Love all of the colors! I have an extra canvas and a bottle of Mod Podge. Hmm...
That looks great! How do you put it together? =D
I'm hosting a new swap over at my blog if anyone is interested please pop over for a look =D

I love this! So adorable! Did you use mod podge?
Taking quilt art to a new level, this would have so many possibilities. Great idea! :)
No way.....these are adorable!
Where you gonna hang them?
I love the ticker tape idea and have made several of them....come to think of it I've yet to see one of your ideas I haven't want to make! One is cuter than the next.
Congratulations on your successful Quilt market and Happy sewing
I love it. I need some art work for my family room. How cool would it be to use up scraps and have pretty artwork???!!!
Seriously cute!! I have blank canvases, hmmm ;)
Hope you are having a fabulous weekend. Smiles-Beth
Those are amazing! I love them. What a smart idea, and another way to surround yourself with your beautiful art. The chopped rhubarb is my favorite, by the way - love the colors and the name - perfect.
Great art piece for sure!
I love it! Great idea. My artsy son might enjoy doing this with me! (he is 10) thanks for the inspiration.

I would LOVE to hang something like that on my wall! What a fantastic idea, and SO CUTE!!!!
so so so perfect! And that is just what I need to hang to my livingroom wall! And I just happen to have on empty canvas waiting... thank you so so so much for the inspiration!
What a great project for me and the kids! Thanks for posting about it.
Swoon! I love this - great job!
I have always loved your ticker tape quilts, but a bit unsure if I could make one look good. This idea is great, did you use modpodge or something over the pieces?
Awesome! I love the idea of putting snippets onto a canvas. Did you glue or mod-podge them? Another fun way to display treasured scraps!
So cool! I really love these!
I love this! What a great idea for all those too tiny scraps!
This is so fun! I love the look of the ticker tape quilts. Did you attach them with Mod Podge first and then coat them again? Or did you just seal it in from the top with the MP?
So many possibilities with color schemes and such too...
So SO cute. I love this idea for treasured scraps. Mod Podge? Based on all the questions, you should do a quickie tutorial.
Very nice idea! I don't work a lot with bright modern colours but I like your work so much, that makes me wonder: maybe I should try other colours as well?! Thanks for sharing this one.

I was inspired by your blog and handmade a quilt, the top is on my blog, I may add it to finish off friday as I am so pleased with it. I plan to quilt by machine, just need to a friend to show me how to thread the machine and I will have a go.

BRILLIANT!
Love this!!! What an awesome idea! (So going to have to try this project myself :)
This is so cute!! Did you cut each piece as you glued them down (in a more random fashion), or did you pre-cut them and plan it all out? I want to do it, but I'm afraid it will look all jumbled.
