giveaway

Today I'm pleased to be hosting a little fabric giveaway, courtesy of Pat Bravo.
Up for grabs are two different bundles...(10 fat quarters each) in some of my favorite colors ever!
Aren't they so pretty? I know from experience that Art Gallery fabrics are super soft and great to work with!

If you would like to be in the drawing, please leave me a comment. One per person please. In your comment, I'd love to hear if you have any New Year's eve plans. Or else you can tell me something you are looking forward to next year. I'll plan to pick two winners on Monday.

I'd like to take the time to say a big THANK YOU to each and every one of you for reading my little blog, leaving such wonderful comments and for all your encouragement this past year. I appreciate it very, very much! xoxo

Hope you have a wonderful and safe New Year's!

My New Year's plans have gotten dowdy now that I have two kids. If I can find a kind (family) soul to take them, then I'm going to PARTY!!! If it's too much of a hassle, I'd really rather stay at home with a little bubbly and some sewing. I'm looking forward to my first full year of quilting! I have lots of projects in mind, and I hope to finish at least some of them. :o) Thanks so much for being such an inspiration to me.

Love the yummy colors!

We'll spend the evening, as we always do, with old friends trying our hardest to stay up til midnight.

I plan to stay home with the husband for New Year's Eve. We might even watch a movie or two, depending on how we feel. Shocking, I know, but that's where I'm at in life -- thinking that New Years Eve comes to soon after all the holiday travel to warrant another night out!

Missy said...

no big plans. most likely going to be sitting at home sewing.

I am planning a quiet evening at home - family is best.

My husband is out of town for New Years Eve and I am looking forward to a quiet evening of quilting and NOT having to stay up to midnight! He is always the one that wants to go out to a big party. I am content with my fabric and a cup of decaf tea. :)

Mary Jo said...

We are going to a neighborhood party. We have rotated thru the neighborhood for several years now. Since we are all within walking distance to home it keeps us all safe...even if we drink a little too much punch! I hope to clean up most of the UFO's in my sewing room in the next year. That way I won't feel guilty when I buy more fabric!

Sharon Pernes said...

We just stay in on New Years Eve, but we have a fondue New Years Day party planned. It's a great way to start the year.

We will celebrate Japanese-style with my husband's family.
Lots of small delicious dishes. Oh--and football, too. I guess that's the American part!

Well, in the morning we have my son's twelfth birthday party (swimming, followed by Pizza, Chocolate cake and the latest Harry Potter DVD) and then we're all of to a friends for a party - we take turns to host it and the children come too, with the youngest packed off to bed part way through(and then sleepily taken home later)

Those are gorgeous fabrics! For New Year's my husband and I work hard to make sure it's a day of total relaxation. We both have stressful jobs that require us to run full speed ahead all year long so this one day we take for ourselves at the beginning of the year has become a cherished tradition.

Just wanna thank you for sharing so many of your creative ideas with us! Wish you a very happy New Year full of fabric, colour, ideas and creativity - and of course health and happiness for you and your family
I'd LOVE to win one of those pretty little piles of wonderful fabrics - but I surely won't - I've never been lucky in things like that...
My plans for 2012? Stay a little more calm when under pressure - that's something I really should work on - and another dozen of finished quilts...
I never thought I could ever become so addicted to that patch-and-quilt-thing.

It´s beutiful and it made´s me happy to watch it, i like it´s scrappy feel so I´m going to try for that in my own as well. The first thing I´m going to work on until it´s finished this comming year is getting my youngest daughter´s room finished. New Year's Eve is celebrated quietly at home...just the two of us. I'll probably be knitting while watching t.v. or else reading....maybe both.

For 2010, I hope to finish a few UFOs and finish my crafting notebooks. I've saved patterns for knitting and quilting and put them into page protector sleeves, then adding to the appropriate book. That is quite a job but will make things easier to find when I need them.

The fabric bundles are gorgeous! Who wouldn't love either of them? Thanks for doing this giveaway!

Love those fabric bundles! The thing I am looking forward to the most in 2012 is the birth of my second child in March!

Very quietly. I've had two tiny granddaughters here this week, and I'm absolutely knackered! but in the best kind of way. I'll probably toast in the new year at about 10:00 pst, but what the heck, that would be midnight a mere two timezones further east ;-)

I don't have New Year plans yet. How sad am I? :)

Happy New Year, Amanda! My hubs and I are staying home with the baby this year... in fact, I don't think I've seen midnight on New Year's in several years. For 2012 I'm looking forward to lots of quilting and crocheting, and being a stay at home mom (at least until August).

I'm a nurse and so I will be working New Years Eve and New Years Day. I'll most likely be sleeping when the ball drops! Oh well! But I would LOVE this fabric.

Kirsten and Tracy said...

Oh, what beautiful fabric! My New Year's eve plan is to hang out with my daughter, son-in-law, 2yr old granddaughter and brand new, born on Wed, granddaughter. And when my daughter and I are together, there will certainly be sewing, planning for sewing, or just talk of sewing and fabric.

Thanks for the chance to win and I hope you have a very Happy New Year and continue to inspire all of us!

On New Year's Eve we are spending the evening at our dear friends' house, eating, playing kinect, and acting like kids again, if only for a few hours... ;o)

We're staying in and making it as fun as possible for our young kids. We'll ring in the New Year with our plastic goblets and Martineli's, probably with a different time zone. Happy New Year! Here's to finishing more WIPs and starting projects we've always been too intimidated to try.

My husband's birthday is tomorrow, so we'll do something he wants todo, maybe see a movie. But first, there is the annual New Year's Day sale at my LQS where everything is 40% off. That will be fun!

We prefer to stay home on New Year's. The roads get very crazy around here starting tonight. I plan on working on some UFOs this weekend. Trying to start the year out right. They say whatever you do at the beginning of the new year you will continue to do all year long...good or bad.

My New Year's plan is to watch football and stitch-in the New Year, most likely hexies. We will have our traditional "good luck" New Year's meal as well.

Thanks - what great fabric! I'm planning to go to bed early - my usual NYE tradition! I've so enjoyed your blog this year - thanks for sharing your insight and creativity!

We are celebrating New Year's Eve with our 3 year old granddaughter. She has already told us she is staying up "all" night!! We let her think she is in control. Haha. I am looking forward to organizing my sewing room this year so I don't spend half my time looking for things!

Almost happy new year!!! It is almost here that is! I am planning a dinner party for 4 couples to bring in the new year. And in the new year I plan to finish more projects...and be a better blogger. :)

I love following your blog! Quilting is a new obsession for me this past year.

My plans for the new year are: to get out of debt so I can pay for braces for two of my children (thank goodness I have one child that had pretty straight teeth). Also organize my house better so that I can find things when I look for them. And the last would be to work on my family spending more time together doing family things like, playing games and teaching my kids things they should know for the future...like maybe how to unclog a toilet or fry an egg.

Best to you in the new year!

I am enjoying have all my children home and the brand new Christmas grandbaby. It may be the last time we are all together at home at this time of year and I just want to enjoy our time which will end at New Year's Day.

Celebrating quietly with the neighbors. It's our annual "let's get caught up, visit, and finish off the Christmas goodies" gathering. Love the fabrics. Plan to hopefully finish the current quilt in progress in January and reduce the stash through the year.
