I finally got around to using the leftovers from this quilt....
to make some pretty quilt blocks. When I started, I had a fuzzy idea of where I was headed. After playing with them, I know right where I'm headed....straight to the fabric store to buy more Kona. :) I can't wait to see this one come together.
Happy Monday to you!

Love the colors! Great for spring. Do you know who makes that lime green damask-looking print with the white background?

Hello: I am charmed with the idea that you have had for with these chunks of fabric that we still have to do a wonderful comforter. I congratulate you and it is going to remain you very nice. Kisses from Madrid (my English forgives)

Looks great! I love the purples and greens. The Kona solid looks great too. What is the name of the Kona you are using?
Happy Monday! Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished! The gray is a great choice with those colors :)
those blocks look great, I tried to do something similar recently and stuffed mine up, so I was wondering, did you decide on your solid colour size then just start piecing till the sashing fitted? Did you plan it all on paper then go ahead? just curious about the process if you don't mind sharing :)
How did I miss that first quilt? It's wonderful and so are the leftovers. Can't wait to see what you have in mind.
Always loved blue and green together!
Fantastic squares!
Awesome! Always looking for ideas to use up leftovers :)
So pretty! Will try to call tomorrow. Mom and Dad were here camping this weekend, so I feel like all I did was eat! Working on my Mom's bird quilt--she loves it which makes it all worth it!
O luuuuuve your left overs. And I luuuuve using left overs in my projects. It gives a quilt a very special twist. Did you see Fat Quarter Shop has 20% off on Kona solids right now? But maybe you need a quicker fix than that... Looking great! :D My favorite is..... hmmm... the dotted 30's print in blue.
Local Quilt Shop: is that a place on the Monopoly game board??
Love the use of the scraps. I adore the use of the grey too.

You can never have too much Kona can you? ;-) I like the light gray color you are using with your leftovers. Those print fabrics are too pretty not to be used again. Love where you are headed with this!

I need to figure out what to do with my leftovers. Trying to figure out what kind of scrap quilt to make.
Beautiful colors. And so simple yet eye catching. Love it!
Great colours
Is that Kona Ash? I could use a whole bolt of it!
So Amandajean, did you cave and give it to the recipient early? By the way, great take on a new use for the fabric :0)
Love those bright colors!
We move to our new place with land in 2 weeks. I will finally have my own studio and I can't wait to get back to quilting (and in my own space) again!
Ooh, I like where this is going!
Love the blues and greens together -- and is that ash? It's going to be a good one!
No matter what colors you use, they always look SO good together. Love the quilt blocks and can't wait to see it finished. What size are the blocks? You must plan your quilt patterns in your head when you are sleeping. Real pretty and colorful.
