leftovers

I finally got around to using the leftovers from this quilt....
to make some pretty quilt blocks. When I started, I had a fuzzy idea of where I was headed. After playing with them, I know right where I'm headed....straight to the fabric store to buy more Kona. :) I can't wait to see this one come together.

Happy Monday to you!

  9. those blocks look great, I tried to do something similar recently and stuffed mine up, so I was wondering, did you decide on your solid colour size then just start piecing till the sashing fitted? Did you plan it all on paper then go ahead? just curious about the process if you don't mind sharing :)

  14. O luuuuuve your left overs. And I luuuuve using left overs in my projects. It gives a quilt a very special twist. Did you see Fat Quarter Shop has 20% off on Kona solids right now? But maybe you need a quicker fix than that... Looking great! :D My favorite is..... hmmm... the dotted 30's print in blue.

No matter what colors you use, they always look SO good together. Love the quilt blocks and can't wait to see it finished. What size are the blocks? You must plan your quilt patterns in your head when you are sleeping. Real pretty and colorful.
