free fabric

Happy Monday! I feel like giving away some free fabric today-just because. :) If you would like to win these 4 fat quarters, all you need to do is leave me a comment letting me know where you are from and what you are doing today. I'll give you an example. (This idea is totally stolen/inspired by the adorable Camille. I so want her chair, by the way. Swoon!!!)

My name is AmandaJean and I live in Wisconsin. Today I am doing laundry and I am working on my Swell quilt. I am making chicken wild rice for dinner in my crock pot so I have more time to sew!

In your comment, please make sure there is a way for me to contact you in the event that I draw your name. Thanks!

edit: the contest is now closed.

I live in Washington. I spent the morning helping my son make Valentine's Day cards...we only got 1 made because he just wanted to cut (he's just learning how to use scissors and loves them). I stared at the Christmas quilt that I didn't finish in time...wait I mean the one that I got an early start on for 09. Watched Thomas the Engine and Caillou with son as well.

Hi!

I'm Laila from Oman. This morning, i'm catching up on emails, blogs and doing the school run. Dinner is a shephards pie and veggies. No time for sewing this afternoon as it will be spent in the car getting the little one to after school activities.

Just to add, I only started quilting/sewing a year ago and have learned so much from your blog. Your endless turn out of quilts keeps me very inspired!

I'm Beth, in Alabama. I'm up way past my bedtime, listening to the quiet and hoping my feverish, almost-four-year-old son stays asleep. I'm an experienced seamstress (garments, draperies, and upholstery) trying to get my head around machine quilting. All previous attempts have disappointed, but your quilts are inspiring. Since I know two babies coming this summer, I want to create something awesome.

Hi girls, many overseas greetings from the other side of the world! As we are 6 hours ahead, guess you are all still sleeping ;-D
My name is Silvia, 43, and I live at the other side of the world, in the very heart of Europe near Vienna/Austria.
At the moment I am in the office, doing lot of paper work. When I come home at night, I will prepare a quick supper for me and my darling – our children are already adults and gone ;-D
After doing bit of housework, I will relax the rest of the day on the sofa and do some craft – at the moment lace-knitting and quilting are my favorites. I like to try new things and make new experiences, I just tried grandmas flower garden sewing by hand *oootsch* If I would have more time, I would do quilting all day long.

I like your blog and visit it daily. Thanks for all your wonderful inspirations we get out of it, and sharing all the pattern, informations and adorable pictures with us.
I also like the star quilt, and I made one for my daughter!
Due to this, I just ordered a new sewing machine with a stippling foot – as I like your free motion quilting. I have never done, but I will try. I am waiting here very excited for the delivery!
I am really jealous of the variety of quilting fabric and materials such as rulers in US. No idea about this here in my country!

And I will win your fat quarters, yeahhhhhhhhh!
Hugs Silvia
