I can see why you are feeling attached to this quilt. It is the sweetest quilt ever! It is my favorite that you have shown us so far. Your gram is going to be so amazed and pleased with this gift from your heart. PS: How bout I ship my quilts to your for quilting? Either that or you come teach me how when you head back to MN this summer!! :)
Your finished quilt inspired me to do blocks 4-8 tonight. I just found your blog last week, so I'm way behind, but hope to have all of the blocks done in the next couple of days. Your grandma is a very lucky lady. I know she'll love it!
Amanda Jean,This quilt turned out so beautifully, and I know every stitch is wrapped in love. This quilt will be a wonderful heirloom and it is so special that your heirlooms are going backwards, from grand daughter, to grand mother. My mom made quilts for both of her grandmothers. She got both of them back many years later as her grandmother's passed away, they are more special to her now than they ever would have been had she kept them.
It's truly lovely Amanda Jean. Well done!
any wonder you are attached to it..............It's beautiful. I have the borders nearly finished on mine but yours is so much better, you are such a good teacher too. ThanksJules
Your quilt turned out beautiful, and I am sure your grandmother will love it. I finished mine and have it on my blog, my DH loves his Raven's quilt.

What a beautiful gift to give your grandmother. I'm sure she's going to love it! Thanks for giving your time and expertise to lead us through the process, Amandajean. It's been great having your work inspire me onwards in my quilting.
It's just beautiful. Can't wait for your next quilt-a-long. I'd love to join in.
I think she will like it.
Oh how nice!!! I'll try to finish my top during Eastern! Promise....
That is one fine piece of work, it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! You can be very proud of that one for sure!
Amanda, I just love your blog. You do such nice work with your quilts. I love your colours and combinations - not really the traditional quilty look.I've been reading on different blogs lately about a ironing board challenge. Might I suggest a challenge to see everyone's favourite quilt label? I'm a relatively new quilter, and I think I should start labelling my quilts. But where to start? I'd love some inspiration! I'd do a challenge myself, but I don't have a quilt blog...yet!Thanks, Linda
I can understand why you are attached to this quilt. It is stunning. I always love quilts made in 1930's fabrics - they are so yummy. Happy stitching.
I can just see the smile she will have when she receives this soft hug from you.......
It is such a beautiful quilt, I think I would have a hard time giving that one away too. I bet it will be worth it though to see how much she loves it! :)
I love all your quilts and your colours are amazing. I would really like to make this one, sorry if I've missed it, but what size was the finished quilt? Thanks,Gillian.
I'm Liz, I've just started quilting and I really enjoy your site. I want to do your quilt along for 2008. I've noticed that week 10 doesn't show the completed directions. Can you help me? Thank you
I love this quilt. I think I am going to do your quilt alongs in a few months. I have to finish some WIPs before I start anything new
Hi Amanda,Thank you so much for sharing! I love your tutorials and am learning fast. I'm from Karachi, Pakistan, so I can't get the jelly rolls and have to search for nice materials for my quilts. I mostly hand-piece and hand quilt mine... haven't yet learned to machine quilt although I do have a Singer Discmatic sewing machine. I love reading all your news. Thank you once again for making things so simple and easy to follow. Merlyn
I'm doing this quilt-a-long 4 years too late!! I'm loving it though and your whole blog has taught me so much! I'm starting a new blog and have put a link to your blog. I hope that's ok! Thanks, Lucy xx
I've finally finished my quilt top! Thanks again for such a wonderful tutorial! Please check it out at:http://charmaboutyou.blogspot.com/2011/09/little-miss-motivated.htmlThanks!
