thank you!!!

Thank you all so much for the enthusiastic and kind response to my fabric line announcement! I can't tell you how grateful I am for your kind words...they mean so much!!!
Yesterday I did a double header trunk show for a quilt guild in Rochester, MN. After I showed my quilts at the afternoon meeting, a kind woman folded and carefully placed my quilts in the pews in front of the church. It was pretty fun to see them all lined up like that! I texted the photo to my husband and commented on how church pews make good quilt holders. His immediate response was, "we aren't buying any." Well, it was worth a shot, anyway, don't you think? Maybe I can keep working on him...the pews would be pretty fun to fill up with throw pillows, too! :)

Hope you are having a terrific Tuesday!

Screened-in porch needing a bench? An old Victorian porch needing a bench? A long entry-way that needs that just right something? Yes, I know, I am enabling! LOL

Love the quilts!

lol! Your quilts make the pews look so welcoming. Churches should really consider this! :D

Your husband is a spoil sport, just kidding. If you had your way, pastors would have avery hard time keeping the congregation awake--all snuggled up in quilts and throw pillows.

I love all of your bright colors. I cannot wait to see the new fabric line. And WELCOME BACK :)

When we have Senior Sunday at our Church, the quilts for the graduating seniors are displayed like that on the front pews before the kids are presented with them and wrapped in them.

Our Church also displays them like that when the ladies are finished with their work days.

I do admit, I get easily distracted though during Church when the quilts are out on display.

My grandfather pastored an old country church years ago. I would love to have one of the old pews from that church, but they are long gone. You never know what you'll find in an antique shop!

What a great story! You are one of the inspirational quilters that started me quilting. I love your Sunday Morning quilts book. We share the same need to husband our fabrics carefully and use every last bit. Thanks for sharing every week! Barbara at creaturecomfortquilts.wordpress.com

There is a guild in Plantersville, Texas, that does their quilt show in a church and they display the quilts folded over pews. Love the bright colors of your quilts!

Sunday Morning Quilts was the first quilting book I ever bought and I see quite a few of those quilts hanging over the pews! They all look fabulous! I hope you can talk your husband into buying a pew for future photographing opportunities. ;)

My friend just attended a funeral in a very old church in Austria, she said it was freezing and everyone had quilts to cover up with... I think quilts have a very welcome spot in churches and so much bright and happy reflects our Happy God and his happy people! I love them all!!

Your quilts are beautiful and putting them on the pews was a brilliant ideal. You may be asked to supply quilts for church services--maybe a new fashion statement coming soon!! lol

We so enjoyed your presentation at the meeting.
I attended the evening
meeting and to see the quilts displayed as we entered the church was so inspiring.
Oh, if only I had such bright scraps instead of OLD darks.
You are as bright and cheerful as your quilts.

your husband is funny and that's a great way to showcase all of your quilts at one time!!!

Your quilts look fabulous and so very colorful draped over the church pews. Hmmm . . . wonder if my church would let me take a pic like that.
