Welcome to finish it up Friday!
I have two quilts that I'm working on hand binding at the moment, so hopefully next week is a BIG finish week. In the meantime....
I managed to finish yet another scrap happy purse! I believe that this is my 4th one. My son said that they all look the same. Now, I don't think he necessarily meant it as a compliment, but I took it as one! :) I forgot to add the magnetic snap to this one (doh!) but I think it will work anyway.
Now it's your turn! Please link up your finishes for the week. THANKS, as always, for joining me for finish it up Friday! It wouldn't be the same without you!
I love every single one of your scrappy happy purses!! I should make myself one some day :)
It's beautiful. I agree - it'll be fun to use even without the clasp!
gorgeous, what a perfectly happy purse.
I love the handles that you used. The whole thing is lovely!
Looking good and what a perfect lining!
I think I've seen three out of four--each one is fabulous!!
Beautiful tote bag! The quilting is amazing and love the handles! :-)
Lovely cheery tot bag! I think I do need one myself! I will put it on my to-do-list!!!
Your scrappy projects are always THE BEST! Love it :-)
yes, back to scrappy. a month is a long time for you. Love the quilting contrasting direction of the strips.
Another fun scrap project. I especially like that peek of aqua inside.
One of these would never be enough! Love, love, love the scrap fiesta (and nothing is lovelier than an aqua lining). :o)
Wishing you an awesome weekend!
If they all look the same it's ok they're all beautiful!
I love seeing all your inspiring scrap projects, Amanda Jean. This purse is super sweet! Love that bright lining you chose!
Such a beautiful and colorful bag.Love it!
The bag is awesome. I have to thank you for this linky party. It keeps me moving forward for one thing, but I also get to meet so many bloggers and see their cool stuff. I couldn't ask for better inspiration.
I think its beautiful. And about the magnetic snap, maybe you can attach a small strap with a button on the other side instead? That way you still get the function you want from the snap.
Thanks for sharing and thanks for the link up. I hope my finished place mat tops are ok for a finish it up friday link. Have a great weekend.
The bag is gorgeous Amanda. As always thank you for hosting the linky party. Have a great weekend. Marie xxx (firstname.lastname@example.org)
This is such an awesome bag! I love how colorful it is. And I love the size, perfect for so many things. Well done!
Your bag looks lovely. Great Summer accessory. I made a different type of bag from scraps or strips recently. Winding strips around cotton clothesline rope and then sewing together with a zigzag stitch. I posted about it just this month. You might be interested in trying it. My friend showed me how to make it, but I can't remember whose book she purchased with the design in it.
That is beautiful! The handles give it a designer look. Wow!
Love the bag, you have amazing ways to use up scraps. x
That is my favorite bag ever!
I love this! Do you find those handles to be very secure and hold up well? I've never tried them.
Love that purse. Will have to add that to my "to do" list. Thanks for sharing.
(((HUGS))) Susanne :)
So cute! Love the bright lining!
I LOVE that bag!
this is awesome! I never think about doing this, but you using up your scraps is inspiring - I think when I make one, I will make a recessed zip, I love those!
