This is about all that I've worked on in the past week, quilt wise. I only
(ha!) need to make 14 more alternate blocks, then I can sew it all up. Making a twin size quilt out of two inch squares is intense! But, it's using up plenty of scraps...ugly and pretty...so it's totally worth it.
The best thing is....it's actually looking pretty good! I had my doubts.
Happy Monday to you!
Such sweet scrappiness!!!! I am pretty much addicted to 2.5" squares as well. Glad to know there are plenty of ways to use them ;-)
I love it! Did you blog from your new device? I feel poorly and am spending that am in bed , but would love to chat or text after work!
Love it!! One day I will conquer my scraps and make one of these :)
It's going to be gorgeous! You have a great knack to stick to it!!
I like it. The scrappier, the better
Marvelous, all that orange pops!
That takes dedication! Tiny squares and a large quilt...it looks great!
I think it looks great! Keep up the good work!
I am in the process of cutting out squares but they are going into the quilt from your book, "Checkerboard". I really love scrappy quilts.
Wow you are FAST!!!
I love this! I am normally anti-scrap but my scraps are out of control and it's totally time to make a quilt like this one.
As strange as it sounds, my ugly scraps have always 'made' the quilt. Yours is stunning.
It's absolutely lovely! Now I kind of wish I had enough scraps to make such a quilt - but to get scraps you have to realize many many other projects, which isn't happening fast enough...
Kudos to you. I have never had the patience to do much piecing, and definitely not 2 inch squares.
Wow, talk about patience!! Good for you!
Gosh what a way to use up scraps! =D
Good work! It's looking good! That's a lot of sewing. Looks like you had fun with mary!
I am looking forward to seeing it completed.
You are amazing!
Lots of pretty colors.
I like the name of this. And my little box of scraps is calling...
Good for you. Using that small size does sound like a ton of work but having all those scraps gone and actually used would definitely be worth it.
Beautiful! I made one similar called "Step to the Alter"...I would do it again! Keep cutting & sewing....it's worth it!
It looks fantastic! I have a huge box of 2 inch squares and wasn't really looking forward to making a quilt out of them. But now that I see yours, I'm ready to get at it!
Wow, it looks amazing! Makes me want to try out some 2" squares ... I've never worked that small.
It is FABULOUS!!
Looking great!! I love the absolute scrappiness of this and how the 'uglies' just fade away once all is said and done. :0)
Sorry but it doesn't look pretty good.....It looks great.
Thanks for sharing
I Amanda I am from Brazil and I love quilt. Congratulations for yours projects. I have a blog with my handcrafts. Sorry for my english!!
Wow, it's BEAUTIFUL!! You'd better not quilt that thing anytime soon or else you'll be me and my "really small squares" quilt. I love yours. Looking forward to seeing the whole thing once you've pieced it. Love how the black squares work on this.
i love it so much!
amazing work ... wow.
