so, i decided to pebble quilt the rolling stone quilt.
it's going to take awhile.
and it's going to take a lot of thread.
i really like how the pebbles can be any size and how they fit easily into small spaces.
besides....pebbles...rolling stones....it just makes sense. :)
the quilting really shows up on the back.
so i'm hoping i don't run into any tension issues.
i think these colors are so good together!
i'm guessing i'm going to love the back more than the front.
but it wouldn't be the first time that happened.
all fabrics in this quilt are from the mod basics collection by birch fabrics.
I pre-ordered your book from Amazon.co.uk yesterday. I can't wait to get it!
Yes, I love those colors together and I am using them in the Blogger BOM. pebbles look fantastic.....
nicely done Amanda Jean!
wow, love it!!
Looks amazing!! Love the pebbles/rolling stone with (I am loosely calling it) moss green. Makes me want to try to quilt this motif!
I agree, lime and teal are so great together!
I´ve been trying to order your book from the webb store where I use to order, but it´s sold out so I have to wait!!!
That quilting style is soo cool! I like the teal thread! Cant wait to see the finished quilt =D
Beautiful quilting, it inspires me to try that (hmm...better just stick with straight lines for now, but SOMEDAY...) I can't wait to see how it turns out.
You're right, Pebbles are just so fitting for a "rolling stone" quilt. :) Looks great! Love the colors!
As one of my quilting teachers told me "lime green goes with everything" and it's still one of my fav thread colors. Love the pebbles, they are fun, but do take some time.
Lovin' the pebbles!!
You are on a roll and it sure looks good.
Looks beautiful with the pebble quilting!!
It's looking good - I love it!
It is looking beautiful! The colors are wonderful!
I just love blue and green together. This is going to look great!
I quilted pebbles in the center of my Spring Breeze quilt and loved the texture it gave. Your's looks great!
Love the pebble quilting, it is my favorite one to do :o) It seems to just flow when doing it...very calming.
pebbling does use up the thread-it's a great fill, takes a lot of time for sure but haven't been sorry yet for taking the time.
look forward to a finish pic.
Pebbles! What a perfect match!!! It's looking great so far -- can't wait to see the finish!
