giveaway

It feels like a giveaway day to me! I have one bright colorstory jelly roll to give away, compliments of Robert Kaufman. If you would like to win, let me know where you are from and what you are up to today. Here's an example for you: I'm Amanda Jean from Wisconsin. Today I'm going to start quilting my blue quilt. I have a sick boy at home (he has a cold, poor thing) and I'm listening to pandora, hoping my two little ones don't argue too much. Sounds lovely doesn't it? ;) Actually, the sun is shining, which helps immensely.

Please, one comment per person. Include your email address in case I need to contact you! I'll pick a winner sometime on Friday.

Kris said...

Hi, I'm Kris. It's Thursday night, I'm near Green Bay, Wisconsin, and I have a million things to do yet before falling into bed. Laundry, dishes, blog entry, other blog entry, rotary cut some vintage sheets, go through the pictures I tool of my little guy & upload them to flickr, blow my nose 47 times, send my traveling husband an e-mail, return a defective baby gate to Amazon, return some shoes to Zappo's that don't fit, scour Craigslist for a secondhand embroidery machine, peruse the real estate web sites for a big but cheap house, weep at our bank account balance, leave some blog comments, and pose a question to my flickr group. Whew.

But for now, I'm happily watching my snuffly 2-year-old splash in the tub (his most favorite place in the entire world). Then we'll watch some Olivia, have a little Tylenol-spiked milk, and cuddle in the rocking chair until he falls asleep.

Hope both our boys are better soon! =)

OK, so you'd like to know all about me ...
Make yourself a cuppa and take a seat:
I am Marjolein and I live in the Netherlands, yes I was born below sealevel. That always makes people laugh.
This summer I have started quilting: my first quilt is for a colleague who lost her daughter in a car accident.
It'll have wonderful colours and I hope I can quilt butterflies on it.
Today I went to my friend who is trying to make my foot and my health better: I have extra bone growing underneath my heelbone: nasty and painful.
That's why I love sewing because you can do it sitting down!
As it's still Friday I do hope to receive this wonderful Jelly Roll by Robert Kaufman.
You'll let me know, won't you?
