oh you're headed down a slippery slope now! I stumbled upon Japanese fabrics a couple of months ago and have a full blown bonafide obsession! My weakness is the linen; and wait until you get hooked on the sewing tape/trim! I have the cutest Matroyshka doll linen tape that I fondle occasionally but will not cut... superbuzzy is wonderful too...

Listen, I just do as I'm told. I looked there because you told me to.

And then I purchased three fabrics I totally do not need, but completely want.

I have no will or strength when up against fabulous fabric. Also, I can't believe that I had never seen this site before.

My local quilting shop is having a retirement sale - all fabric 35% off - needless to say, I have no grocery budget left anyway.

  33. I love sales! My local shop is online too. They let me buy online and pick up in person so I don't have to shop with my kids! It's a beautiful world! Check out their end of the bolt stuff, ericas.com It's always changing and 40% off!

Oh, these are cute! Possibly cuter than ones from MY favorite online fabric shop?
(I have some Alice in Wonderland cuteness I'm going to use for a camera strap cover)

  36. I did not need that temptation... (LUckily I just got back from a quilt show & am still feeling the effects of that shopping spree.)

  37. Dang. Thanks to you, I just bought more fabric. Cleared out their last two yards of a Heather Bailey Sway and got some other good Amy Butler to boot.

Ooooohh pretty! I am in love with those cute japanese fabrics and would probably go nuts if given half a chance. This is one example of why I'm glad my husband keeps a tight rein on our budget...it keeps me honest. Honest but covetous.
