As you can see, this quilt top isn't finished yet, but I wanted to squeeze in one more baby quilt post this week. After having this idea in my head for months, it was nice to finally get started on it. I have 3 more blocks to add as a top row in order to finish the top for a baby size. But...I love this quilt so much that I am so tempted to keep going, make it into a lap size and keep it for myself. I am loving the grey and green and white combination immensely.
One more link to check out: Trina just finished a sweet little quilt for her adorable newborn.
Thanks for all your sweet comments on the baby quilts this week. I appreciate each one.
Ooohhh! My husband is definitely not going to like all the inspiration (and desire to buy fabric) that I'm getting from you! I so need to try blocks with white borders, they look so sharp.
Oh, I really like this. I hardly ever do pieced work (always love looking at yours, though), but I'm working on a commission right now that's partly pieced. It convinced me to finally finally make a quilt for own bed that's going to be a similar color scheme. Mostly green for me, and less piecing, but seeing how great your blocks look makes me want to get started!
Love this one so much! I need to try more blocks with solid colors and white. You make them look so elegant and pretty! I say make it bigger and keep it for yourself! You have made so many this week for other people, I think you deserve one for you.:)
I really love this one! I echo what someone else said, I need to get some white fabric!
I love this one, too! You always get SO much done! Keep up the great work. I can always count on you for inspiration!
oh i really like this one.
i think that you should keep going on make it a lap size.
after all the baby quilts you've done this week...you owe it to yourself.
Love it. I agree the grey, green combination is outstanding.
I love the colours and your piecing is amazing.
I recently made a quilt that was mostly green and white and I, too, was surprised how much I loved it. Yours is beautiful, so i think you should keep it!
I love this one too, very modern and sophisticated colour scheme.
I love those colors too! Very very nice...I say keep going and make a quilt for yourself!
I too like this one too.
I am curious as to how you find the time?
oh boy! i love it. and yes, lap size.
I love the quilts you are making. I managed to get a few done this week myself. I'm trying to keep up with you!!

I love this top! Those are my three favorite colors right now :) I think you should keep it for yourself!
I love this one. The greens you are using are great. I'd keep it too!
I really like the colors. It's kind of amazing how many different ways a log cabiny square can be, isn't it.
I have really, really enjoyed the baby quilt week.
OMG! This is awesome!
Oh my gosh...I just found your blog, and I love it. I just want to stay forever...I am new to quilting. I'm not sure you can actually call what I do quilting, but I am learning. Any tips you can pass on for a beginner would be greatly appreciated. I also have a new addiction...buying fabric...who would have thought it could be so addicting.
What a beautiful quilt! I found your blog through Handmade by Alissa, and I've been looking at all the beautiful quilts you've been working on (and so quickly, I might add!). I'm inspired to keep working on mine (and thanks for the recent comment on my blog, by the way!)
Yep, you deserve it and it's beautiful. I really like scrappy quilts, they are what made me want to start quilting afterall but I must say... these more simple style quilts you've been making lately are really inspiring! After a few more scrappy ones that I have in my mind and have fabric for I may have to try out some of these!
love those greens!
Your posts are always so inspiring. Look at all of these sweet baby quilts. There are just too many, I cannot pick a favorite. I love them all.
Oh yes! Keep going. It's much too pretty to be a baby quilt.
Yes this one is meant to be a bigger quilt! Love the log-cabins! Your tutorial inspired me to make some log-cabin blocks in my Dutch quilt!
Super cute, love the simplicity of it but it makes a big statement too!
love these colors...very sophisticated...that gray is a cool color to work with...i'm liking it more and more.
Your baby quilts are very fun. A great idea, too. Think I'm gonna have to get busy and get some baby quilts made. I have 8 friends that are expecting, or have delivered in the past couple of months-3 girls, 5 boys;)
i just made the cutest baby quilt and thought you might like the idea-- it's a cotton fray quilt, super easy and fun... check out my blog-- toddnjenifermoss.blogspot.com
i'm new to blogging, but have really enjoyed following your quilting adventures, i am also a mom that loves to quilt-- some days i wonder if i'm a quilter that loves to be a mom...
OHHH, this is gorgeous. I love the greens. Can't wait for the Christmas gift tutorials.
Great week of baby quilt posts. They are my favorite to make since they give nearly immediate results. I have done several of the Plain Spoken, one in some similar colors as yours.
This one is great. Have you seen Denyse Schmidt's Pretty Square baby quilt? Yours reminds me of it. It is what is in my daughter's room. Here's a link: http://www.dsquilts.com/sh_baby_pretty2.html
keep it! it's fab :D
Ooh, I'm really digging that color combination, too!
