patchwork obsession: part 17

red cross quilted pillow cover
I made an envelope back for this pillow which makes finishing this project easy. That also means the pillow cover is washable.
Inspired by this quilt. Some detail shots of the pillow here.
I am still planning to make a larger quilt like this. The pillow was a good trial run.

One of my favorites yet. I love the varied red tones and the different shapes and sizes of the crosses. This is awesome.

Yummy! Love all those reds! Did you stipple quilt the background? Oh, please, please make this design into a bed quilt ( and stick with the colour scheme used on the pillow) !

I LOVE that pillow!!! It would look so great on our red sofa. I might have to try something like that myself... Can't wait to get my new sewing machine when I see your quilting, you're so good!

Any tutorials on envelope pillow covers? I have about 7 pillows I need to cover, and don't want to deal with zippers (but have to make them washable).
