the future's so bright quilt

Made for a friend who just graduated from high school.
Her personality matches the colors in this quilt.
(I finished the quilt about a half hour before the party started.)
Thanks to all of you who cheered me on as I raced to complete this.

  18. I love it! It is just beautiful. So bright and cheery. I love that it is ageless; I mean that it is perfect for a new high school graduate, but it will be just as perfect for her when she is a young professional, a new mom, a not-so-new mom, a grandmother. What a great gift!

  19. I am so in awe of this quilt. I've never made one before, don't know if I have the time or stamina for it, but if I did make one, I think I'd like to do something like this. It is beautiful. There is so much to it, yet there is a simplicity about it. I'm sure the new graduate will love it.

This is a great combinations of quilts I've seen from Victoria's quilts (4 pats, and simply squares) and a great way to use up scraps! I can't wait to try it!
