I do not spray baste, I pin baste. I removed the pins when I quilted lines in one direction (during the first half of the quilting). Now I'm quilting in the other direction. No pins to worry about this time through.
Hi ... are you using a walking foot? When I've tried to do this cross hatching, I get it pulling out of alignment. Can you speak to that for us. I'm registered for your workshop in Ripon next month. Looking forward to meeting you.

It doesn't look like there are any pins in your quilt top. Do you spray-baste?
Is this an old photo of the quilt on your book?

I hope that helps!

Tammy Stack,
Nope! This is a new version of the hot and cold quilt. :) Good eye!

I love that feeling of the quilting almost done and you can cuddle under the quilt and hand bind... My favourite!
This Hot and Cold quilt is calling to me. I must start collecting some solids!
Mmmm!
Nice. Thanks for sharing.
Now you will be done in no time :) Still love the quilt!
I love it!
