blue and green

Welcome to finish it up Friday!
I recently completed knitting my 18th pair of hand knit socks. They might be my favorite pair to date! I love this self-striping yarn. It made it easy to make two socks nearly the same size. (I was one row off on the green tip at the toes. So close!!!) The yarn is Regia Stripemania 6 Ply in the Forest colorway. I have a few kiddos who would love to claim them as their own, but I don't see that happening! As usual, I used my basic sock pattern, with ribbing on the leg portion of the sock and stockinette stitch through the foot portion. They are so cozy!
I finished my scattered showers quilt this week, too! The only problem is that it's raining too much to get decent photos. Oh, the irony! I'll show it fully as soon as I can. :)

Now, it's your turn! Please link up your finishes for the week. Thanks for joining me for finish it up Friday! Have a great weekend! xo

Scattered showers looks amazing already. The socks look cozy-- be sure to hide them from the kids!

Those socks are going to be great as the cool weather moves in. Haha - too rainy to take photos of scattered showers. How silly. :-)

The socks are delightful (what fantastic yarn) and the rain is definitely ironic for your quilt finish; it will be fun to see the full reveal when the sun comes back out for you.

The socks are gorgeous! Love the stripes and they look so cozy! It's been unusually hot here but I can imagine months of rain are on their way, also hard when you need to take pictures.

It's not just your kiddos who would love them--put me in line! Those colors are fantastic! (and I would not consider them one green stripe off)

Your quilt tease is just not right, your know.

I don't knit so how do you get the colours to match on each sock? (I get self striping yarn and think that's pretty cool but anything beyond that is well, beyond me.)

It shows the quality of the wool that each colour has the exact same length - great looking socks by the way :)
