sunshine quilt top

I finished another quilt top today!
Inspiration: a quilt top my sister made.
Fabrics: Soho Solids by Timeless Treasures-purchased at my LQS.
Size: 60" x 84
Finished block size: 6".
Number of quilts in the quilting queue: 7 (Yikes!)

Happy April! And a very happy Monday to you, too!

I really like that quilt!! A while back I may not have but I'm getting more to the more "modern/clean" look and that is a very appealing example! Thank you for sharing and good luck on your stack 'to do'!

  12. If I'm ever on the same continent as you and then can manage to get myself from Florida to your northern climes, I swear I'm just gonna come to your house, and I promise promise not to make a noise or ask you for snacks, and just watch you and the rhythm of how you put together a quilt. How in the world you sew so fast is just beyond and though I'm impressed I keep thinking, "There's got to be something I'm doing wrong to go so slow!" I Love the quilt top!
    Happy Spring!

I agree with Sharon above, I only looked yesterday and today there's another quilt, if I get to being half as productive as you I'll be a happy woman, OK a quarter as productive would do me. I'm thining that maybe your hours are longer than mine.. that's got to be it :o)
This is a really cheerful quilt though.

  16. That quilt is so simple and direct. I love the clean lines and crisp colors. Amanda Jean, you are truly a prolific quilter! Thanks for all the encouragement you give me in your blog. I finished my quilt from the quilt class and now I am helping Douglass to complete hers. And I used one of the quilting stitches on my machine to quilt one of my WIPs. All thanks to your inspirational teaching.

  20. Oh I do like this one! The shapes make it consistent yet the fabrics make it look scrappy! Great job!
