pattern giveaway

My friend Michelle wrote up a pattern for her awesome sew together bag. I'm happy to be giving away a copy of the pattern (in PDF form) today. I'm trying to figure out a way to describe JUST how cute this bag is....but there are no words. You'll just have to drool over the photos. :)
She ticker taped the outside of this one. Of course I love that detail!
You open it up and there are compartments inside....
...and even MORE compartments. It has a place to store needles on one side and pins on the other. It's such a cute bag with lots of great details.

I'm completely charmed that I am now the owner of this bag (thanks Michelle!) and that I didn't have to make it. Since I haven't made one (yet) I can't vouch for the pattern, but I hear from Tara that it's a fun challenge and the pattern is brilliant in terms of construction. And I totally value her opinion. :)

If you would like to win a copy of the pattern (in PDF form) please leave me a comment. In your comment I'd like to hear what quilty thing you are asking for for Christmas.

If you don't win the pattern you can purchase one here.
One comment per person, please. I'll pick the winner sometime on Thursday.
Hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

Oh, and thanks SO MUCH for all your sweet comment on my new purse! I appreciate each and every one! xo

I actually asked for a copy of "Sunday Morning Quilts"!!!
And....we were in Calgary ...so met up with Cheryl and picked up a signed copy . My husband has tucked it away, though, so I don't even get a sneak peak!

Adorable bag, looks complicated but fun to make.

I'm asking Santa for a long arm machine and a house to put it in....after all he's Santa....might as well go big ;)

foodmathquilts said...

I love the fabric for this project! The bag certainly looks useful and complicated - and like a lot of fun.

I've asked for a quilting extension table that fits onto my sewing machine ... last year my hudband really went above and beyond! The ladies at my quilt shop still talk about how he came in several times and got help to pick out thread, fabric, and notions for my gift last year.

That is so great! I think it would be great in my purse! For Christmas I want a quilting foot for my sewing machine :)

Great bag! I love the zipped storage pockets. Thanks for the great giveaway! Um, well, I asked for a new serger for Christmas, so not quite quilty, but definitely sewing-related.
