finish it up Friday, 10/19/12

Welcome to finish it up Friday!
Last night at about 11:30 I finished up my super scrap happy quilt top. It wasn't in the plans to finish it up so quickly, but once I started working on it I couldn't stop. My sister thinks I might need an intervention. :)

Be that as it may......I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

It measures about 64" x 74".
(I can't stop staring at it!)

If you have a finish to share this week please link up! (Remember to link to a specific blog post.) Thanks for joining me and happy Friday!

Awesome! It would be so fun to sit with that quilt and just hunt for all the different fabrics. What an inspiring way to use up a lot of scraps!

Wow! Love it. Is this a way to avoid painting, or did that get finished first? :)

That IS amazing! I love it. I want to do one myself and it looks like you just kept adding and adding with no particular pattern in mine which is what makes it so beautiful. I'm going to start going through my scraps!

Absolutely beautiful. I feel if I don't quilt in 2 day, I'm so cranky that my kids ask if I quilted or hand pieced today. Continue to enjoy your blog.

That is wonderful. So cheerful. Can I ask about how big your slabs are? It looks like they might be fairly big. I'm trying to wrap my brain around doing a project like this. I have bins of scraps that really need to be slimmed down!
