Now it's time to choose a binding fabric. I am quite on the fence, so I thought I'd ask you for your two cents.
Choice A, 1934 by Cosmo Cricket for Moda
Choice B, Baby Talk by David Walker for Free Spirit
Choice C, Building Blocks by American Jane Patterns-Sandy Klop
Choice D, Basic Grey/eva for Moda
Choice E, Barbara Jones of Quilt Soup for Henry Glass (I believe it's Barbara....the selvage edge of the fabric I have just starts with Jones, but i'm fairly certain it's Barbara Jones...)
Choice F, Red Gingham (woven) by Moda, which I would cut on the bias.
Oh, I should probably add, the backing is made up of 3 panels of these fabrics....
So, what binding fabric would YOU choose?

My vote....chice A.
Close second though is D!
"F" all the way... nice strong print makes a great anchor... and that's my two cents worth!
I like the red gingham - it adds a lovely contrast!
Love your quilt. I like A or F for the binding. Either one. Will go nicely with the back fabrics since all three have a touch of red.
Great job!!
A or F definitely :)
A!
I like E because it has the same feeling as the quilt, but if you are looking for a 'solid' look binding to frame your quilt, I'd go with A or F.
red gingham for sure!
I'd go for a colorful border... Both the Cosmo and gingham looks great.
I'd choose A first or F second.
first choice - A
second choice - F
i think it needs to be a red fabric. looks good!
I'd go with D.
Red gingham, absolutely. (Also, thanks for posting this. I feel very silly when I struggle with binding choice, and it's good to see a pro's process!)
i love C
I'd choose F with a solid red to match for the binding.
I like choice A.
I would choose A or F, definitely sth with red. (Now I´ll read the other comments)
i really like A and E. mostly A. :)
Either of the reds - but I prefer the gingham. (A is the very close 2nd!)
I'd say F, although A is a close second!
I would choose A it looks great!
A, B or E. Give you a good contrast from the others.
It is a tie between A and D. Though if you go with the red that is a LOT of red on the back, and I'm thinking a contrasting color with those panels would be nice...
i like the first red one - A
definitely one of the reds! A or F. Either one would be fantastic!
MGM
Choice A or F, both equally nice!
A and F both look fabulous and go very well with the backing fabrics!
Choice A. I love red bindings.
Choice A, 1934 by Cosmo Cricket for Moda
Choice A, 1934 by Cosmo Cricket for Moda I think it makes the red pop in the rest of the quilt.
A. I like it.
I am rarely so decisive, but this time it's definitely A for me.
I would chose F
I love that orange piece you have on the back -- so I think my answer would be "none of the above" and use the orange for binding. Whatever you choose it sure looks like it'll be lovely.
A
I like E best because it has some white space and isn't too red as there's so much in the quilt ... but, that said, I also love F cos I'm a sucker for gingham :)
I like F, but I'd recommend cutting it on the bias because it's really hard to keep plaids straight.
I like A
F. The red gingham pops.
I love the red gingham on the bias!
A or E, the quilt looks fab btw.
-Theresa
I like Choice B :)
Choice F--the red gingham--would be my pick, contrasts beautifully!!!
E all the way.
Definitely E
Gingham on the bias is a winner for me!! Have fun!!
I like choice B.
choice A....love the brightness that it adds and it highlights the lighter fabric well...
I would do A or E. I like bringing out the red in the quilt, but not too much (F is too much).
I like E or D best.
Love the red choices...either one would be great!
choice F on the bias for me! good Luck!
I like F.
i agree with all that f is the best choice
A,B or F work the best in my opinion. Either one will work.
The first one, by a mile!
Either A or F. Definitely one of the reds :D
Julie G
i love A or F the reds in those set of the quilt so nicely and would look great with the backing.
Definitely B, but I'd let you get away with F ;-)
A or B - lovely quilt - from what I can see. Can't wait to see the whole thing
I like A the most.
I love the POP of choice A!
F..red gingham
I love A and F-- can't go wrong with red. :)
A, D or F would all be great. Love the quilt!
red gingham!!!!!! =D
I like A and D.
I vote for A or F and on the bias. I love a check on the bias!
My first choice would be A, but if you want to keep with the low volumn theme, I would choose E..... It was fun seeing how my choices compared to others' :)
Definitely A. Runner up is E.
A!!! HANDS DOWN!
E E E!
I like A the best also! E is my second choice!!! Happy finishing!
Choice F! I was on the fence the whole time I was scrolling- all of them looked lovely- but the red gingham is PERFECT! Great way to finish off a great quilt!
Definitely the first one!!
Door A! Great Quilt, as usual.
Choice F, the gingham.
red - either the first or the gingham!
I just have to say A :)
My second choice would probably be B, but I'd have to check it against the backing prints, as I'm not sure whether it would good with the green in the one on the left.
Choice B.
All the way with F !
Hugs,

They are all wonderful - but I would go with Cosmo Cricket...that fabric feels perfect as it draws the red out of the quilt and has a bit of a vintagey feel as well.
Voting A or F - love the red with your quilt
I really like choice F the red gingham =D
Choice A or Choice F - the quilt really wants red!
For me it's D!
Red is my favorite color but I actually think B will work best. If not that, then F,
A looks great - I love the red!
I'd go with choice A or Choice F. I like the contrast of the red fabrics and top. More contrast than the greens.
Choice A is my favorite, Definitely !
Choice A all the way!
F - the red gingham for a little punch of color.
A is my fav, but F is great, too.
E and F aremy favorites. :0)
I like F!
A ... It's just right :)
My Choice is A, closely followed by F!
I'm a relatively new quilter and I'm SO relieved that I'm not the only one that's voting for "F"! LOL
F is first choice; E is second. Any will look very nice!
I would go with F
I love the red gingham!
A or C...both coordinate with the fabric, but don't overpower your design.

I would go with Choice A or E. :)
I would choose B, Baby Talk. Sometimes it's nice to have a more subtle binding.
B or D. The pattern is more muted and seems to go with the rest of your quilt. Glad to see it is hard for you to choose too! K-
A or F :). This is going to look awesome!
F! Love the gingham and cutting it on the bias will be beautiful! Looks great!
"A" pops really nicely! Keeps it spicy!
Lovely! I would go with E if I was matching to the back or A or F if it made the rest of the red on the quilt 'pop'.
Definitely A
So I'm bucking the trend and going with D. No doubt red gingham on the bias (otherwise known as F) is a beautiful option, but after going back and looking at the larger pictures of your "low-volume quilt" I really like the look of D and the continuation of that lovely low-key feel.
L vote for choice A.
I vote for B, although I do love F as well. Gorgeous quilt!
I like F, the red gingham the best. Kept coming back to it after looking at the others a few times. Love this quilt!
Choice A for me. Almost a blender with yor other fabrics but pretty enough to make a great binding!!
I'm a teacher; I don't like it when students earn "Fs," but you've done it. The bias element will rock it!
The red gingham would be great.
Great quilt! I would choose fabric A and maybe cut it on the bias.
A or F
I vote A, although I like b as well
A or F. Either would be great. can't wait to see the whole quilt.
Your quilt is beautiful :)Definitely A!
I vote for choice A
B!
Hi! I really like the way Choice A pops next to the other fabrics and it goes well with the back fabrics. My next choice would be "D". That green just blends so nicely! Cristina
A, B, or F! Beautiful!
A. Definitely A.
I'd choose A.
A or F!
I vote for F - the gingham. It will be a good contrast - both in color and by being on the bias - so it won't be lost in the rest of the quilt. It will frame it nicely. Also, all the backing fabrics have red om them, so it ties in there, too.
Gingham would be so cute! Glad you had a sewing day all to your lonesome!!
B! I love the soft green with those colors.
A or B
A
A because the red is bright and has enough white to tie it to the rest of the quilt.
Circa, circa, circa! (imagine that being chanted). They're all actually cool but either of the reds will add just the right amount of ZING. :)
Happy for you to have much sewing time!
hmmm, either A or F :)
i'm a bit jealous of your quiet sewing time :)
I'm not usually a huge red fan but I love the A fabric. Really frames the quilt. I also like the idea of f on the bias.
Choice A is perfect. Dark enough to halt the eye and send it back the other way, yet not to solid either, if you know what I mean.
Ooh, so many choices! I like option A the most.
can we have A on the bias? E then, with a pop of red flowers behaving like polka dots if you cut it carefully. Love the quilt, started considering my own collection of low volume prints. Thanks for showing it to us. Oh and my copy of the book is much coveted here in Wellington New Zealand.
I like choice A, but you can tell, I'm not a low volume kind of gal!
My choice is A - it is just the right choice. D could work too - but I was concerned about the name Basic Grey - it looks green to me - so choose A
Of course, the first one. :)
I think F, though to be totally honest, none really sang out to me...
A is my choice, makes the fabrics pop more than the others.
Choice A!!! I absolutely love it!
A!!!
I like A or E best - but all are pretty!!
A or F are my favorite... I'm always partial to red though!
I'm a red girl. I love the shot of red! F would be my first choice, and A would be my second. It's a fab quilt no matter what you choose.
Not many people seem to ever agree w/my choices, but I love A!
It's gotta be a red! I like the heavier feeling of F.
A or F. Or F or A........ How about half A and half F......
I am partial to the Cosmo Cricket.
I love B best, but F could work wonderfully too! Whatever you choose will suit it, I'm sure! :-)
I think A or F look the best.
I love the way A brightens it up!
I love the red gingham!
I would go with A or C. A if you want something to Pop. C if you want it to blend. Cheers Karen www.madewithmytwohands.blogspot.com
A or F
I like F the best, but A would be my second choice. I like my binding to add a bit of contrast to the quilt. :-)
Caryn
At first I was going to say E...until I saw F. F. Definitely F.
I think you have to decide if you want the binding to blend or contrast. I like F then A.
Definitely F. Good luck.
I like choices B or C if you want to stay with the calm, neutral tones of the quilt. If not, the I like choice A.
A or F for sure :-) I'd probably lean toward the gingham (F).
It's A for me
Well, it seems like everyone else wants A....but I really like B. The red pops, but the blue just sort of mellows everything out and lets you concentrate on the quilt instead of the binding.
I'm also enchanted with E. Love those flowers!...but the white background keeps it subtle.
Can't wait to see what you pick - which I'm sure will be the very best choice!
I LOVE B! But A would be my second choice. : )
F looks great, or maybe B.
I would choose F. I do like taking pictures to help make a choice. I often take pictures when arranging fabrics for quilts. I do love this quilt.
I would choose A or F. I think both would look fabulous with the backing fabrics & the front of the quilt... :) Of course I love how bright the red is too :)
I choose F!
Choice 'A' would be my first choice. It makes all the other fabrics come alive.
I would choose the D if you want a more equal or F if you want to give it more life.
Good job!
I too like A the best.
First of all, too many choices.
Stay low volume with the binding as well.mi choose b, even though I like the idea of red binding, red just feels too obviousness
I would go with A or F.
A or F...I do love gingham. Have fun with your choice!
I would choose A. I love the pattern
I choose E
'B' would give it a soft look
Whoa! I had to scroll through so many comments to get here! And I vote for A or F - but I'm an unashamed red girl.
I love "A"!
For a "calm" finish I'd go for B and for a livelier version, definitely A.
It would be a lovely one anyway ;-)
Hands down, it has to be either A or F.
For my 2 cents, I'd say definitely A or F (and F is probably my preference)...a cent either way!!! I can't wait to see this quilt finished.
I think the red binding makes the other colors pop. My personal fav is F.
Mary Ann
B to keep the volume low. ;)
I really like F.
The letter is EEE.
If you want the quilt to 'pop' out. It actually jumped out to me.
Choice A
Okay, I'll throw in my two cents, too. Choice A all the way :)
I would go with B. :)
I like E as a first choice; A second. They are a strong compliment to the front and also blend with the back as well.
Choice A...D came in second, and F third :)
Looks like it will be very pretty!
I vote Choice B, Baby Talk by David Walker for Free Spirit, because it's soft and blends in well ...
Definitely A. It has the red which lifts the quilt but it still has plenty of white in keeping with the white in the quilt. More sophisticated than the gingham.
