giveaway

Today I'm pleased to be hosting a little fabric giveaway, courtesy of Pat Bravo.
Up for grabs are two different bundles...(10 fat quarters each) in some of my favorite colors ever!
Aren't they so pretty? I know from experience that Art Gallery fabrics are super soft and great to work with!

If you would like to be in the drawing, please leave me a comment. One per person please. In your comment, I'd love to hear if you have any New Year's eve plans. Or else you can tell me something you are looking forward to next year. I'll plan to pick two winners on Monday.

I'd like to take the time to say a big THANK YOU to each and every one of you for reading my little blog, leaving such wonderful comments and for all your encouragement this past year. I appreciate it very, very much! xoxo

Hope you have a wonderful and safe New Year's!

Thank you for hosting the giveaway. I never met a Pat Bravo fabric I didn't like.

Thank you, also, for your inspiring blog--one of my faves.

We'll be staying home on New Year's Eve. I'll probably watch the ball drop in Times Square on TV (my daughter may be there in real life), but I plan to spend most of the day (into the night) sewing in my Girl Cave. (My hubby bought a clock for my sewing room -- he's noticed I tend to lose track of time when I'm sewing.)
Happy New Year!

We always set up a feast so my teenagers bring their friends to our home. That way I can keep an eye on them :) If you feed them they will come. We used to do dance dance revolution all night long, but now it's Kinect apparently. How will I ever keep up with these kids? I loved when the kids were little. We could watch the NYC ball drop @ 10pm, tell them happy new year and tuck their little sleep heads in bed. For the new year I am looking forward to a vacation with my hubby without the kiddos. And taking my quilt patis along with me :)

Hoi Amandajean, I love to read your blog. And I'm planned to do the same next year. I'm not living in the USA but I come from Holland. So , I'm sorry for big mistakes in my English.
The quilting in my hometown is not so big deal. I'm doing it by myself but I love it.
My wishes for next year are that I want to make a quilt for 3 seasons. My springquilt is almost finished.
I'm a big fan from pink colours en what I heve seen on your blog I will looking in the quiltshop if they have such colours.
Have a nice time for the new year, it is half past six at this time in Holland and our new year is earlier than yours, so when it has past for us than it is still coming for you.

greetings from Saskia van Bruxvoort

It has been our tradition to make a lap size tie quilt on New Years Eve. We finish it by midnight and give it away by ding dong ditching it on someone's door. I am sick this year and my daughter is away from home, so this tradition will not be done tonight. :( Happy New Year and thanks for your blog!

New Years eve plans with friends - usually we have spent New Years with other friends and was looking at a night at home when someone from my church who we don't always hang out with invited us over for the evening. It was so kind of them to offer. Then on New years day we are invited to friends where we have been getting together with our families on this day for years.
One thing I hope to do in the New Year is to allow myself to let go of fear and make discoveries in my quilting and art. I guess it is all about learning how I am and what is really important to me.
I am really looking forward to the New Year....
Thanks for host this give away...

My New Year involved keeping cool and not being too scared by fireworks. We survived. But Kitty was not happy.

I had these fabrics on my Christmas list and didn't get them, so I would love to win this! We don't have any plans for New Year's this year. I'm just sitting on my couch going through my Google Reader. Actually not a bad way to bring in the new year if you ask me!

Love this fabric. This would look so great in an applique project. One of my goals for the new year is to finish an applique quilt. I just took my first class!

Beautiful bundles! No plans for New Years except being a on-call driver for my younger family members. I get very introspective and like to nerdy things like journal, etc. on New Year's Eve and start the year with a clear head and ready to throw things out.

This year I want to expand my quilting skills and make some quilts that challenge me.

Cindy said...

I just stumbled across your blog! Wonderful place to visit and hang for a while. This is what I am doing on New Years Eve. Beautiful colors pallets on those two bundles. Happy New Years!

I love your blog. Thanks for the giveaway -- such pretty sets.

For New Years, we actually instead are celebrating Christmas -- we were out of town seeing family on the real night, so cooperative Santa agreed to come a few days late for our two year old. :-)

Hmmm... Plans for 2102. Well, first off, our first GRANDSON is due in just a few weeks. Can't tell you how excited I am for that. I've already made him loads of knit, sewn, quilted and embroidered items. I am working on more this evening.

Other plans... complete some much needed dental work Ugh!, but it will be a relief to have it done.... Lose weight? Lofty goal, eh? I've done it before though.

Other goals: become more proficient with my new sewing machine and learn to embrace it's computerized functions. Finish my 2009 Sew Hip Mystery quilt! Use up my stash (haha). Become a better housekeeper (Yeah, right!)
Maybe start my own blog? I have loads of ideas for that one.

Take care and Happy New Year!
