The fine folks at Connecting Threads saw my post awhile back, and as a thank you sent me some of their Essential PRO Thread. I was shocked that they had seen my post, and even further amazed that they sent me some thread as a thank you. What a pleasant surprise! They also sent me some fabric to pass along to my readers. I have 3 stacks (similar to a layer cake) of Sweet Remembrance fabric to give away. So you know the drill, if you would like to win a stack, leave me a comment here. Their products are nice - I have bought a number of books, batting, thread and fabric from them because of their reasonable prices.

I have purchased a lot of thread from Connecting Threads. Last year I went thru at least 17,000 yards of Essential. Nice that they saw your post. I have not bought any fabric from them so it would be nice to win and see it in person.
Why wouldn't they recognize a great review from someone who is well known, experienced and trusted in the quilting community?
I really liked the review and it was very informing to me, someone who knew nothing about connecting threads before. There are so many places online to buy, that you really don't know what you are in for unless you know someone who has tried something from the companies. Personally, I have had good and bad experiences with buying online. It is great to hear reviews from people I trust. I don't live near quilting and fabric stores, so I don't have many options but buying online sometimes. That is, unless I want to travel for over an hour.

I have been buying fabric from Connecting Threads for some time now, to build up my stash lost (I thought) in a cross-country move. They have offered excellent deals on decent to great quality fabrics, for the most part.
And I just this week discovered their thread, what a good bargain.
